    Meat Lovers Omelet
    Roland C.

Food was pretty good. Tried the meat lover's omelette and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a best seller if it isn't already. I was disappointed in the grits because it was lumpy. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend you try it if you're ever in the area.

I order breakfast from here yesterday 6/6/21 I ordered The big Caboose for myself along with an order of biscuits and gravy (Pictured) and an order of 1 buttermilk with bacon for my son. When I tell you the food was BLAND with no flavor well except for the eggs and the bacon. My 9yr old loves pancakes and the look on his face after his first bite let me know what to expect. I tried the pancakes just to see if it was something more like sour ingredients but no they were simply nasty hotcakes. I can only say that when I opened the box of biscuits n gravy I thought to myself WTH is this and after tasting them they get my vote at the nastiest biscuits n gravy I have ever had. Bojangles and McDonald's biscuits and gravy is way better tasting I mean

Ordered grits and they were basically flooded in water. The grits were undercooked and it just look like they poured a packet of grits in a bowl and filled it with water. Very disappointed and will probably never order from here again.

3 Pieces Chicken Tenders uncooked. My 10 year old consumed one whole uncooked.

My first time here with my family of 5. Our waitress was very nice and patient. We ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, which was really good. I ordered grilled fish with a side of Mac n cheese and green beans. Grilled fish was too salty, mac n cheese was just right as well as the green beans. My fiancé ordered the meal of the day; jambalaya over rice. My daughter ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders with some sides, my son ordered 2 pieces of the same but ended up getting 3 bc the waitress messed up his order and his food came later than ours. So, as we were eating, my son showed us his second chicken tender. It was pink in the middle! I asked what about the first piece and he said, "it was really chewy" and I'm guessing maybe he ate it too fast bc he did say he was very hungry. I was very upset and disappointed bc I thought this spot would be decent go-to for us to have some country cooking food on days we crave it. So, we took the food to the person at the front, she looks like she's the manager and all they did for us was take my son's order off of our check and gave us 50% off. I wasn't happy and I felt like they weren't really apologetic. I'd only come back again for their fried green tomatoes. But after seeing my son consume raw chicken tender, it disgusted me and I'm appalled that they weren't concern if my son would be okay after eating it raw! So, I will not be returning to this place and I hope and pray my son will not get any kind of food poisoning.

A fine example of humble, down home cooking, this simple little diner does a decent job. Varied menu options, great prices, good service. We generally have breakfast there so can't speak to other meals. They do a great job with hash browns and biscuits, eggs made to order. It's not great but it's dependable.

It really felt like I was home y'all. This is true Southern cooking - making comfort food out of very simple ingredients. You have to be from a Southern home to know exactly what I mean... I can't really put what I mean in words. My niece raved about Bridgeview's fried chicken, so we decided to give it a try. The chicken is definitely tender and juicy, but it's not the best I've had. In fact, I ended up liking the side options more. My favorites were the chicken and dumplings and creamed corn. If I return, I'll definitely get a vegetable/ side combo plate. The fried pickles were served in such a large portion that I got giddy, and the waitress couldn't keep the sweet tea coming fast enough before all of us wanted refills. Like all good Southern food, our leftovers were even better the next morning.

I feel disrespected by the restaurant for letting this leave out of the door. I ordered thru door dash and $23 later this is what I get??? First and last time ordering!!

Service was from Mimi who was very helpful in recommending the sides for our entree. We ended up ordering the jerk wings (appetizer), turkey wings with collards, dressing and candied yams. I ate the wings as my entree and we shared the sides. The presentation was great. Real plates & flatware. The sides came in their own bowls so the food doesn't touch. The strip mall entrance and parking a bit of a challenge. Full review below: I went in Saturday afternoon. It was lightly busy but fully staffed so help/attention came quick. Dining solo so I opted for a seat at the bar. Bartender was super attentive. Didn't have to wait long for a menu or to place my order. Also, she regularly checked in on how everything was. I ordered the Yellow Diamond Martini ($15) and it was delicious. I got the fried green tomatoes (4 pieces) for $11.95. Complimentary very tall cup of water. The tomatoes were a little small so this is definitely an appetizer/light snack...which is A-OK for me. It came out shortly after my martini was ready. Overall, minus tip, it came to $29. Music was playing through a speaker but not too loud. People could comfortably have a conversation. There are multiple tvs throughout. I appreciated that some of them were showing stuff other than sports. One monitor, near the restroom, is devoted to Culturistic Kitchen content, which is smart. I did use the restroom. It's two stalls and two sinks. The non-handicap/ADA stall is tiny. I'm like a medium-sized woman who is 5'7 and even I was like yikes. When the place is busy/packed I could see a wait or a line for the bathroom. The one major downside...which is not Culturistic Kitchen's fault is that the strip mall is not easy to get out of and onto the main road (Jodeco Rd) especially if you're turning left. The parking lots for all the shops, which are great businesses, should be bigger than it is. Don't be surprised if, during peak times, you may have to park 1-2 doors down from the restaurant. Overall, I would go again. I don't go out to eat that often (there's food at the house ) but if I want a good cocktail and a light snack or try some of their regular food items, I would come again. More than likely, I'd choose an off-peak time because I wouldn't want to experience it at near full capacity but that's just me.

For the most part, people seemed to enjoy it so I was convinced I should check it out. The restaurant is located inside of the Hilton airport Hotel. There is a secure parking lot that requires you to pull a ticket when you enter. The restaurant will validate the parking ticket for you ! When I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and seated immediately. Shortly after I was seated my wait staff came over and introduced herself. She took my drink order and said she would allow me time to look over the menu. I asked my wait staff her thoughts on the Mac and cheese. I am picky about eating Mac and cheese from places. Most don't know how to make real Mac & cheese ( if you know what I mean)! She told me it was pretty solid. - As such I ordered the following: Crab bisque Smoked chicken wing plate served with two sides: Mac & cheeses and asparagus were my picks! The crab bisque did take a long time to come out. It was so delayed that my main course came out shortly after the soup. It was not ideal, but I made it work! The crab bisque was solid. I would order it again. The wing plate also exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with the mac and cheese. The asparagus were large, which was concerning to me! Like how did they get so big? Steroids? Nonetheless, they were cooked to perfection! I did get the banana pudding to go- this was the only item I would not order again! It was basic and I only took a few bites and ended up trashing it . Overall I would reconned this spot! Service was spot on- and for a hotel restaurant the food is pretty good!
