I eat yogurt everyday and the amount you get is probably half the size of a standard serving of yogurt (170g) and it was sparsely sprinkled with granola. my partner ordered a chorizo burrito ($15) and while she raved about the flavor the size of it was laughable, especially considering there are plenty of spots in LB that serve double or even triple the size of this burrito at or near the same price lastly, and the most disappointing of all, was the cinnamon roll($8). they were on display at the register and figured yeah I want one of those and instead of giving it to me right then and there it was brought with the rest of the food but it was not warmed up, which made me question why I waited for it. I work hard for what I have, so having my property damaged and then having to deal with the aftermath has been incredibly frustrating. What makes this situation even more upsetting is that I work in the veterinary field and have personally helped care for her pets in the past. I provided them with care and professionalism, so I never expected to find myself dealing with a situation like this involving someone I had previously helped. About two weeks after the incident, I saw her and attempted to approach her to address what happened. Instead of having a conversation, she quickly left. As a Black man, it was especially concerning to feel as though my attempt to simply address the situation could be perceived or portrayed as me being aggressive. I wanted a conversation and accountability for the damage to my propertynothing more. The matter has been reported, and I sincerely hope law enforcement handles it appropriately. I'm sharing my personal experience because accountability, honesty, and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, based on my experience, trusting this business owner was a big mistake in Long Beach.
