Ivan was fantastic to work with as he got us scheduled for a leak detection test quickly and even accommodated us when we had to reschedule due to a timing conflict. On the day of the inspection, they arrived within the time window provided. The team performed both a visual and pressurized inspection of the pump, return lines, and piping, as well as diving into the pool for a thorough visual check. I really appreciated how comprehensive their process was; they took the time to check every possible source of the leak. They were able to pinpoint the likely area of the leak and let us know we would receive a detailed report and project proposal within 2-3 business days. While the leak detection price was mid-tier for the scope of work performed, I found it to be fair given the quality of the service and the expertise demonstrated by their team. We ultimately didn't use County Leak Services for the leak repair itself (a skimmer replacement) since we were able to bundle that work into a larger replastering project with another company. What a joke! Do not use this service as they just want to recommend replastering (with some unknown person other than them, of course) and gave pix of the obvious cracks we have after the last 10 years. And they want $425 for this "service"??!! This couldn't have taken more than 30 minutes and certainly didn't offer any solution or any fix of any kind. I would have given a negative 3 star, if possible. Their communication (or lack thereof) as well as their exorbitant pricing and lack of results will hopefully steer people towards competent people. read more

I knew there was a leak, they found it right away. I did a bunch of troubleshooting on my own but honestly I should have just called them first and saved myself the time. After a very thorough inspection they ruled out everything except the spa returns. The process is so cool, every line is pressure tested and then the very nice and professional tech jumps in the pool and spent an hour in the pool inspecting every joint, lamp, nook, cranny, paying special attention to places that looked a bit sketchy as there have been repairs in the pool before. Once the leak was identified, The repair crew was scheduled quickly and they did a great job. I have tinted and decorative concrete and they matched the tint and I'm super impressed with how it all came out. These guys are pros, and I'm so glad that I called them. Finding a company to do this type of work is not easy, there are very few. My tip for you: Only hire a company to find the leak, who will do the hard work of fixing it. I hired another company to find the leak, and who also said they would fix the leak, but later backed out saying they no longer did that type of work on pools... after I paid them to find the leak. The issue is you want the company doing the heavy work to do the leak detection. The first company I hired had video, ink, etc... but misdiagnosed where the leak was. County Leak, before doing demolition said 'let's validate it'. Sure enough, they found that the leak was somewhere different (upstream from where the first company said it was). This saved me having work done on the shell of an inground hot tub, $$$, when the leak was somewhere else. --- You only want the company doing the heavy fixing work, providing you the leak identification work. They "found" the leak in a jet, and said they needed to cut a 2x2 foot hole in my spa (through tile and pebble-tec) to fix it. Terrified at the thought of that, I thought a second opinion would be wise, and thank goodness I did that. County Leak Services came out, and very quickly determined that the leak was about 4-5 feet away from where the other company said it was. In addition, they were able to access and repair it from another angle, and thus did not need to cut into my spa. Strongly recommend County Leak to find your leak and they guarantee their leak detection work. Our 30+ year pool was leaking water at an alarming rate. Brought in County Leak and they found a major leak in the spa and several other minor leaks including both skimmers. I went with another company to fix the leaks. Still had issues with air in the pool pump, after 5 months with no resolution by the contractor. I called County Leak they found the leak using their specialized equipment in the same area by the skimmer they reported prior. Which was most likely caused by the plumber when jackhammering or digging. County leak had a better understanding of the plumbing of our pool than the contractor, plumber, and pool repair specialist. They told me if the plumber would have pressured tested the pool he would have found the second leak when the hole in the concrete was still open and it would have been an easy fix. This company met all my expectations for a job well done: 1. a proper diagnosis was made of an impending, potentially catastrophic leak due to a crack in our pool wall abutting the skimmer, 2. a repair was made that strengthened the wall in a manner that virtually insures that the crack will never return near the skimmer , 3. Absolutely Don't use them. They do not stand behind their work. I used six months ago. Paid 7,000 dollars to fix a crack, have a small issue and they told me there is no warranty. They ripped my Spa apart completely and rebuilt, that included the switch, however they put on the bill 7,000 dollars spa rebuild and did not list all they did. So they now don't want to live up to their warranty. I have pictures, there was nothing left of my spa, so to say they did not install is a lie. I intend to take them to small claims and tell everyone in orange county not to use them. Again their competitive advantage was their warranty, which is useless. Our jacuzzi was leaking a lot of water. We called two different leak detection services. One couldn't find the leak, but they charged us anyway. The second said they'd have to jackhammer the jacuzzi to confirm the location of the leak with "no promises." After searching Yelp for another leak detection company, we found County Leak Services. They arrived on time, checked out the jacuzzi and found the leak. Then, one of the technicians put on a scuba diving suite, tank and mask! He got in our pool and spent nearly 30 minutes scouring the bottom and sides to check for additional leaks! Very thorough and quite impressive. We got a complete inspection report and a detailed quote to repair the leak. We scheduled the work and came home to find that the pebble tech patch color did not match the rest of the jacuzzi bench. It looked horrible. Fortunately, the supervisor, Jaime Orona, agreed. He had the crew redo the patch to our satisfaction. It has been nearly six months now. No leaks! County Leak Services gets five stars because their inspection work was perfect; they were willing to correct their mistake; and their repair work solved our leak problem.
