Rich Humbert did the house inspection for the house we hope to purchase. He was excellent showing up one time with only one days notice for the inspection. He would occasionally call us over to look at something he had found and explain why it really needed to be fixed or if it was something not that is important. At the end of inspection we went over everything and again he was happy to explain clearly something that should really be fixed. Promptly the next morning we got his complete Report including photos with arrows pointing to what he was talking about again the explanations were complete explaining how important a given finding was. i find these 5 star reviews hard to believe. They missed the obvious stuff: 1) fan not working in bathroom 2) thermostat downstairs not working 3) remote to fireplace not working 4) GFI on deck broken when i called him on this he claimed things must have broken in the 4 weeks from inspection to being occupied. Talk about lack of professionalism. No apology or anything. #2 & #3 were clearly long time things (batteries were leaking in the remote). Do not trust these folks at all. read more
