10/10 yes I can't wait to come back here! The ambiance is romantic but relaxing, each part of the restaurant has its own set of details to keep the eye looking for more. Now let's get into the real detail! The cocktails and food! I came with a friend and we wanted to try a couple different things. We got noodles, pork that melts in your mouth and beef with veggies. The flavor profile was chefs kiss delicious. The bartender gave us some background knowledge to the cocktails as well. It's always nice to be provided a story behind the menu items. We sat at the bar, no reservation and on a Friday night, definitely for lucky. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu

This is a solid 4 star restaurant, but their Mother's Day celebration escalated them to a 5 star. Tully took really good care of us from leading us to our seat, taking family photos for us, explaining the menu item by item patiently, taking orders, refilling water, checking if we need to replace plates, all the way to finishing our visit with a check. Everything she did was friendly, kind and courteous. All the staff members including the owner wished us happy Mother's Day repeatedly. The owner also gave us a small gift pouch with a set of Thai coasters, a chocolate and a complementary drink card as an appreciation for us making the reservation early. Coupe De Thai is also not a boring Thai food restaurant; their menu has some tasty and interesting dishes. I was blown away by their White Lotus Curry that was a piece of crispy skin branzino fish lay on a bed of white creamy sauce that tasted very coconutty and yet not spicy at all. The round lotus seeds under the fish was de-cored to remove the bitterness. Very interesting and pleasant! I almost licked the plate clean to take in every drop of the sauce. Their Mother's Day special was a surf and turf pad Thai which was also beautifully presented and very delicious. There are 3 large shrimps and slices of medium rare beef steak on top of a bed of pad thai with tofu and ground peanuts. I love all elements of the dish and the sauce, sweet and slightly tangy and spicy was so soul gripping. The Clay Pot Crab Rice was another kid-friendly dish. It tasted light with lots of crab meat and white rice. The amount was sumptuous. We got here early and had the pleasure of enjoying its unique Thai style decoration without much crowd disturbance. The wall fish net decoration was a good topic for us. Their wine bar was beautifully lit and a nice background for pictures. Tully was also very smart to suggest us to take the picture before the crowd pours in. I ordered a zero proof Sawasdee Sunshine, which was ok but it was beautifully decorated. All in all, a flawless practice for us to enjoy a Mother's Day. Super happy that we picked this place and strongly recommend it. They pour their heart into the restaurant.

Came here on a Friday @ 6:45pm for my friends birthday celebration. I easily reserved ahead of time on Open Table. Parking is a bit rough, but we were able to find parking at the lot across the street. It was quite busy. There is plenty of inside and outside seating. We got a nice table right by the window. We ordered thai tea, calamari, dragon balls, sesame chicken, and pad thai with shrimp. My favorite definitely had to be the calamari. The dragon balls was quite flavorful, citrusy, and not spicy at all. The sesame chicken was juicy with a good crispiness to it. It was a bit too sweet though. The pad thai had chewy soft noodles but the shrimp was a bit dry. The service here is great and attentive. I love that they offer happy hour! Would come back if i'm in the area :)

If you enjoy Thai food a bit more on the sweet side, this is the place to go. I ordered a two Pad See Yous: one with tofu and one with chicken. Then I also ordered the dragon balls. The dragon balls were not as spicy as I thought they would be but they were otherwise well fried and flavored. I was a little bit, disappointed that they could not adjust the spicy level: I can usually request Thai spicy at other Thai places that I have been to, but I understand their hesitation. The service was excellent, proactive, and understanding. When another patron gave up a table day reserved, they were willing to see us at a better table, even though we did not have a reservation. The ambiance was warm, well thought out, and beautiful.

Vibe: 4/5 Service: Food: Drink: Value: Handling of issues: 0/5 Coup de Thai delivery used to be very inconsistent, ranging from phenomenal to WTH (I once received rice in a plastic boiling bag, as in the individually packaged bagged rice you can buy at the grocery store). It's a bit of a gamble, but since they recently refreshed the restaurant, I thought we should give dine-in a try. The restaurant is beautiful, and the music and dim lighting are giving major grown & sexy vibes. We got there during Happy Hour, and I was stoked to see my favorite Lychee Martinis for only $8 each. And those were really good. For food, we got: -HH Tom Yum Ceviche (3.5/5): A very generous portion of spicy shrimp with very fresh sesame rice crackers. Unfortunately, the shrimp were not the freshest and had a slightly mushy texture. We didn't finish the dish. -White Lotus Curry (4.5/5): We're always down to try new things, and this dish didn't disappoint. The branzino was perfectly prepared, and the accompanying coconut curry was slurp-worthy. It was supposed to include lotus root, but I didn't see any on the plate. Still yummy. -Clay Pot Fried Rice (3.5/5): Although this dish was delicious, we were majorly disappointed. One of the reasons we chose it was for the "satisfying crispy bottom texture." There was zero crispiness, and I was disappointed with how it was handled (read more below). -Minion Banana (4/5): You can't go wrong with fried bananas and delicious coconut ice cream. Our server, Tully, was great, but I didn't like how the chef and the manager handled our rice issue. When we noticed our rice didn't have a crispy bottom, we pointed it out to our waitress. I asked if she could take it back and ask the chef to make the bottom crispy as advertised; we didn't ask for it to be completely remade, just cooked longer. She came back saying the chef wouldn't do it and that the menu description was wrong (apparently, no more crispy rice). We decided to keep the dish but asked to speak with the manager, who avoided the conversation even after our waitress reminded her for the second time. The lack of acknowledgment and care was very disappointing, which is why the rating is lower. After this, I'm still iffy about the food quality and care. But I'll be back for those $8 Lychee Martinis for sure.

    Just a couple bites

Far from authentic and insanely expensive. Interior decor was done well and the servers were kind and friendly to a toddler we brought along. And the standout dish was the crab fried rice. It seems to end there, however. 4 miniature chicken skewers for an absurd price that could get you four skewers each the size of a chicken thigh, and the meat was tough too. Calamari was just a mere couple bites, not to share, though it was crispy. The curries were either super spicy or super bland, and meat and fish were dry. All the dishes were incredibly slow to arrive. While I understand this restaurant is slightly on the upscale side, the taste and portions do not justify its price of $30-40 per person.

Panang Curry with Chicken -- excellent.
    Ran D.

Thank you, NAM, for an excellent Thai experience. I had the Panang Curry with chicken, which was the best I have ever had. The Mrs. had the White Lotus Curry, which was excellent -- simultaneously silky and hearty. NAM advised us since it was our first time here and she was absolutely charming. We will definitely be back for the award winning food (best of Silicon Valley), the swanky atmosphere (the restaurant is so on point), and, above all, the service. Big thank you to NAM for making our Tuesday night feel like a Saturday night! P.S. Don't be foolish. Get dessert. Get the coconut ice cream (locally made) and fried banana. It'll flip your wig.

Came here to catch up with a friend on a weeknight. I was able to find a street parking spot right in front and we got seated pretty quickly after getting there. The ambiance was nice with an upscale aesthetic, and the food was also delicious. We shared tofu spring rolls and I got the chicken pad see you. The spring rolls were refreshing and flavorful, the sauce it came with was a highlight. The pad see you was also great! I usually order pad see you at every Thai spot I go to and this was one of the better ones I've had.

    Pad Thai with tofu
    Maria L.

We ordered from the Seize the Lunch menu. I had the Pad Thai with tofu, and my husband had the Yellow Curry with chicken. Each came with Summer Rolls Tofu, and a choice of Thai ice tea or regular ice tea. The house salad on the side of the main course was basically just a few pieces of lettuce with dressing. Unfortunately, the Thai ice tea was the best part of our meal. It tasted like normal Thai ice tea, and not too sweet. The tofu summer rolls with sauce were ok. However, the Pad Thai and curry were not authentic at all. Not sure if they're just missing fish sauce or Thai seasoning, or they're simply bland. The texture of the noodles was off as well. My husband didn't like the flavor of his curry either. There're more authentic Thai restaurants in Los Gatos. It's disappointing as we're craving for Thai food. On the other hand, if we didn't look at it as Thai food, but just a very reasonably priced lunch in a nice restaurant environment, it's not a bad lunch deal.

Great flavors. I like how authentic the meals were we had the pad gro pow, pad Thai, chicken balls, soup. It was all tasty

Beautiful ambience. The service was very friendly. Outside seating also available with outdoor heaters. Several menu options not found in other Thai restaurants. We'll be back to try more dishes.

Solid Thai restaurant in downtown Los Gatos. We arrived at 6:30pm on a Saturday without a reservation and probably took the last table! We saw people starting to wait for a table shortly after. Food wise, we tried the pad see ew and pineapple fried rice. Both dishes were pretty good. We were celebrating a birthday and our server was so kind to surprise us with a complimentary mango sticky rice, which was very yummy! Loved that they used purple rice, and they were generous with the mangoes. Service was also pretty good. It was a hot day and I was going through my water very quickly but our server always made sure our cups were promptly refilled!

No big deal, as I wanted the bar anyway, but something others should keep in mind. The cocktail list is plentiful and intriguing. I tend to avoid tequila, so that eliminated a good chunk of the options. I went with Rose Colored Lenses, which was fantastic, and decently sized. Presentation was beautiful. My friend had All a Dream, also very good. The wine offerings are minimal, this is very much a cocktail or champagne type of place, with caviar being the primary food service. Speaking of service, the bartender was excellent, both in his mixology and demeanor. It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main. More substantial food options are a mere few steps across the hall at Heritage.

Afterwards, we all ordered our meals to share. The Ribeye Steak was probably the best of the meals, but it was very fatty which made a good portion of the steak inedible. Our friend ordered the Pappardelle al Ragu di Anatra. It was the absolute tiniest serving I have ever seen as a main meal. It was served using a plate that was so large and had a small fist shaped indention in the middle that held the meal. I wish I had taken a photo, but I was at that point so embarrassed that I had suggested coming here. The Gnocchi and mussels was in the same category. There was a bit more to this meal, but not much. We did get a large plate of French Fries for everyone to share as the meals were so skimpy. We asked for some ketchup with the fries and our server absolutely forgot and never came back until we had almost finished the fries. I truly was embarrassed that I had suggested meeting here. The date kufta appetizer was absolutely delicious and the ground beef balls just melted in your mouth. Same with the lamb meatballs and lamb shank, just delicious! All of the food had perfect seasoning, zest for the marinara sauce, and great overall flavor palette. The only thing was that the food did take quite a while to come out, which ended up being fine because our group had more time to talk and catch up. It's definitely a place you can spend a couple of hours at wining and dining. Highly recommend!

When we sat down, nobody talked to us for a while. We had to flag the waiter to order drinks, then again food. He left in the middle of the food order and we had to call him back to finish ordering appetizers. He left again before we could order mains. We eventually ordered everything. All appetizers came out, food was nice. Later all main dishes came out except for one, they said it should come out soon, which was 20+ minutes... the overall experience wasn't great, but the food was good

All the drinks pair well with the wide range of food options on their extensive menu. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outside, plus several TVs throughout for watching sports. I ordered the Hop Holistics, a fresh, fruity Hazy IPA with a low 5.6% ABV, making it easy to enjoy more than one. I also tried the Alpha Dog West Coast IPA, which has a higher ABV and was another tasty choice, especially with my burger. I went with the smashburger and fries, and it was fantastic. Packed with flavor from the Memphis‑style BBQ sauce, avocado, and pickled red onions on a brioche bun. We were sharing it, and they even split it onto two plates for us -- a small touch we really appreciated. Only complaint was the bartender was NOT friendly at all. We felt like we were making him work. Definitely need to get someone that wants to work and not that guy! Despite this, we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu and enjoy another brew.

We were driving to Santa Cruz on Memorial Day and it was such jam packed crazy peak traffic taking hours to move a mile, we decided to detour and take exit to Los Gatos. Now I've been to this cute rich neighbourhood city couple of times and enjoyed a lot. We parked at nearby garage. It was so damn now so loved the outdoor seating concept with play area for kids. My son loved running around here! Beer flight was decent, I didn't like any of the 4 beers given. We had pesto chicken sandwiche. It was not warm and tasted very normal Fried were cold and not seasoned well too. But it's great for outdoor seating and chilling with friends and family Self service , but good and drinks were super quick to arrive.
