Stopped by Court street eats on the way back to the Bay Area from our Redding Staycation. Ordered some he classic burger and Chinese Chicken salad (sub ahi tuna $3 extras). The smash burgers are to die for! Been a couple times and plan on returning again soon!

Came in here to grab a quick bite. Ordered the classic with fries ($15), but unfortunately they didn't have fries. The grill man ended up giving me the pulled pork burger as well at no charge which I thought more than made up for the inconvenience. The burger was cooked like it was straight off a BBQ grill outdoors. It's a bit cramped if you want to eat in, but most people ordered and took the order to go. I gave 5 stars because I appreciated the generosity of the establishment. The menu was a bit small to read unless you're right up on it or maybe I'm just blind - who knows. Overall, decent food, a bit pricey, but most places out here seem to be. read more

This place has some great food! I made sure by going a few times before writing this review. First time I went to this place with a co-worker and I ordered their classic burger. I told myself, "what the heck, let's try their classic, why not?!" But I was skeptical if it was going to be enough to try their single patty so I went for an extra patty to make it a double. My co-worker ordered their Hog-Wild Pork bowl. We got our order and they got my order wrong--they gave me a single patty. I was disappointed. So I told them... without skipping a beat, the guy in the kitchen goes, "I'll make you a new one!' So I go back outside to our table and I was like... well I might as well eat this burger and see how it is. Man, let me tell you! That burger was on point. Buns was delicious, perfectly toasted in the bottom so it doesn't get soggy at the bottom. Fresh veggies, very good pickles; and man the burger patty was big. I was like, "uhmm... I might not need that other burger." So I went ahead and shared my burger with my co-worker. That burger was delicious. The sauce was on point. All it needed for me was the cheese! Make sure to order it with some cheese because it doesn't come with it. Next time I would even ask for some bacon!!! Let me talk about the fries! They sure load you up with enough fries to share with another person. They are nicely crispy and yet fluffy in the inside like mashed potatoes. They don't taste like they have been using the same oil for a whole week. The fries taste fresh and they taste like they have been fried in fresh new oil... it doesn't even taste like oil at all. Came to find out they actually fry this stuff with some special oil. They have this siracha sauce... mmm... it's good with the fries. My co-worker said the bowl was actually filling even though it looked small. He didn't finish it! I was like, "Weak!!!" So second time I went, I tried their ahi bowl and my co-worker tried their Piggy Back which is their take on pulled pork sandwich. Their pulled pork was loaded!!! I didn't get to try enough of it to comment on it but man it looked good. Their ahi bowl however, it was delicious! It's the perfect amount for what you are paying for and you will be satisfied for sure with the amount of food. Ahi tasted fresh. It didn't taste fishy at all. Avocado tasted fresh. All the veggies in it tasted delicious! Great flavor. Definitely a good spot for lunch. Best to call in your order because sometimes they get pretty busy. If you are a govt worker, if you show your badge/ID you get 10% off. I think his name was Mike, the owner or the one in the kitchen... Man he told us how they made sure their buns wouldn't get soggy. They had to test it all out most especially if the food is for to-go. Or the different bowls they had to try to make sure it's the perfect amount of food. He told us about the specialized oil they use and how they get it refilled 3 times a week to retain the freshness of it. How the fries are hand-cut fresh... They've got it down to the tee! Great job! I found Court Street Eats on Yelp, looking for a salad type place I could jump in and out of pretty easily as I was starving but didn't have much time. I was happy to see they were close by and still open at 2:30 in the afternoon. What a great find!! I ordered the Chicken Feta Salad. It was so good!! I'm always hesitant to order chicken (any meat) on a salad because I'm super picky about my meat. The chicken in this salad was awesome. Every single piece was perfectly bite-sized, moist, lean and tender. It was exactly what I needed. Quick and tasty, satisfied my hunger, and should carry me through until dinner--maybe even the rest of the day. read more

Worst place I have ever eaten at. I had the Chinese Chicken Salad, which was basically bad coleslaw with chicken (no flavor), sliced almonds and stale crispy noodles. The dressing tasted like really cheap mayo. My husband had a wrap that was okay at best. I started feeling sick shortly after we left. They appeared to be nice people but really shouldn't be in the food business. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I felt super mislead by the good reviews. read more

Really bummed, we were super excited to try this place due to the reviews. First impression, walked in and staff was yelling at a customer, also no gloves or proper food handling. Later on we both got the Lulu burger with fries which not to mention was over $45 total for a basic burger with burnt bacon & the other Lulu burger didn't even have the bacon on it. Menu also mentioned sriracha which we also didn't have as well as the spicy jelly. Fries were the most bland fries almost like some you'd make from WinCo yourself. So basically paying for a super basic burnt & unfinished burger with super bland fries. Really unfortunate, do not recommend. read more

It was ok. Fries on point. Passable burger but nothing great. 2 burger are exacly the same except one adds bbq sauce. A veg buger and a pulled pork sanwich is it. All the bowls are variations of the 4 sandwiches but have quinoa which I dislike so my choices were limited. Very small menu. Only 1 guy working so it was a long wait to order as he took a phone order while we were trying to order. Food came up pretty quick. Just meh read more

Went in and tried this place out for the first time. First thing I noticed was none of the cooks were NOT wearing gloves while preparing the meals. Secondly they were touching raw meats then mixing salads without washing hands. I then noticed that the cooks were sweating profusely and wiping their faces and head then touching the salads and burger meat. Food Handling and cleanliness do not seem to be a priority at this establishment. I strongly recommend you go to another place to eat around downtown... read more

Exceptional burgers. I've heard great things about the tacos, and ramen bowls too...but haven't tried them yet. I don't think you'll find a better burger in the entire North State. Easily the best I've had in the area. read more

My friends and I stopped here for lunch after a day at Whiskeytown. I got the ahi tuna bowl and they both got burgers. All were delicious and hit the spot! This is a good place downtown to stop for a quick meal. My only criticism is that some beers would have been nice. read more
