Located inside airport Terminal 1. Service at register was great lady super friendly and fast but at the back very slows and only 2 people in front of me. Took a long time. They do have a lot seats and tables for corner they located. As for matcha drink I am sure I can make a better one not too impressed especially for drink be so expensive. They do have a good selection of pastries

I stopped by Urth Caffe at LAX airport while waiting for my flight. There were a few people in line and most of the nearby tables were occupied, but the line moved fairly quickly. It is a popular spot to eat so I can see it getting really busy. The cashier who took my order was nice and friendly. I ordered the blended green tea and it was really good! Personally, I order their green tea over their matcha. I wanted to add boba but they didn't have any when I visited. They called out my name once the drink was ready and it took less than five minutes.

This place deserves 0 stars honestly. I ordered a large iced caramel macchiato and this is what I get. Can't even give me a full cup. Horrendous. Plus, the guy taking orders has the most unfriendly look.

Pre-Made Salads

I've always wanted to try me some Urth Caffe!! Unfortunately, I never got around to it due to short stays or the accompanying party not being interested. Thankfully my most recent passing through of LAX gave me the opportunity. First things first, there was only a cash option for payment during my visit. I am not sure what the glitch was but staff openly informed customers upfront of the situation. I'm not sure how much the menu from LAX differs from an actual caffe site but the offerings seemed plentiful. There are 4 breakfast items, a choice of 6 different sandwiches, & 3 types of salads. This location also provides alcoholic drinks and has a full espresso bar. Purchases: Caravan Kale Salad Grilled Chicken Pesto Sandwich Soda Food: TBH, I was a little taken back by the pre-made salads. I went along with the initial pick anyhow but I was a bit disappointed @ first sight. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich was made fresh. The caravan kale salad was really really really good- even with it being premade! The kale was fresh, the meal was light, and the pita chips provided such a nice crunch. This salad was a HOME-RUN! The was just as good. The chicken was moist, the pesto in itself was delicious, and the veggies were very fresh. 5/5 stars. I'm even more excited and determined to visit an Urth Caffe during my next visit to SoCal!!!!

Green Tea Latte and Butter Croissant

I ordered an Iced Green Tea (matcha) latte with soy milk substitute and vanilla along with a warmed up butter croissant to top it off. I'm glad that Urth didn't sacrifice the quality of their food despite being in an extremely busy location like an airport. Great service; the cashier that rang me up was amicable, and also was kind to mention that there were two different types of matcha drinks. the one I almost ordered had an extra shot of caffeine, which I def didn't need so I'm glad she clarified before I made my final choice for my drink order. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. Urth caffe has mediocre pricing typically, but airport surcharge fees definitely raise it up an expensive notch. If I was desperate, and in need of an emergency caffeine pick-me-up, I would order again! Otherwise, I'd prob just wait til I was in OC/Chapman to get Urth Caffe at their regular price point.

Landed in LAX and stopped at Urth. We got a couple of coffee drinks and would've gotten a sandwich except they ran out of the breakfast sandwich, the vegan sandwich, and the pesto chicken sandwich. A woman was very kind and when I asked for almond milk for my mom, she asked if we wanted it steamed (we did!). Plenty of seating!

What a fun surprise seeing Urth Caffe at LAX. Everyone was attentive and kind. Yesenia R. especially took her time explaining the menu and options that we could order. She was happy and kind, and she added a nice touch to the beginning of our trip. Smoothie and Matcha drinks were delicious and fresh. Sandwiches were also fresh, had crunchy veggies, and was a yummy meal. Solid experience!

Chicken soup with chicken

My first time inside Terminal 1 at LAX I decided to have lunch at Urth Cafe & Bar. This is quite a popular cafe with a few locations across Los Angeles County. I was kind of surprised that they had one in the airport but I am glad they did because I was pretty hungry. I ordered their chicken soup which is pretty much chicken, broth, and vegetables there are no noodles inside. Also for a tuna sandwich and a matcha blended rising sun drink with almond milk. Says it has extra energy which I need and wanted to try out. It kind of tastes like there is chocolate mixed into it but not sure. Overall the food is delicious and the drink is much needed. Clean tables and plenty of seating if you want to hang out and enjoy a meal.

Loved to find Urth Caffe & Bar at LAX! I wanted to stop at Urth before going to the airport but didn't want to miss my flight; luckily there's one here at the southwest terminal. I ordered a matcha latte, water and 3 cheese danishes to go. this is an express location so although you will not be able to find all of your favorite menu items, there is enough to satiate your cravings before, during or after your flight. great service and a few tables available while waiting for your flight. ambiance: 4/5 food: 4.5/5 (due to less options) drinks: 4.5/5 service: 5/5 urth caffe & bar: 4.5/5

This is my go to coffee and breakfast spot anytime I'm flying out of terminal one at LAX! They boast about their heirloom coffees which are lovely and their pastries are as delicious as they are beautiful. I almost always get their Spanish Latte - a creamy, mild latte with just the right amount of sweetness. I also love their decorative blueberry danishes - textures and flavors are fantastic and again, not too sweet which I really appreciate. This last trip I tried their breakfast sandwich which comes with bacon, cheese and egg. It's served on a very nice bun - soft and savory and always nicely toasted. But it does have a bit of an odd aftertaste and I probably wouldn't get it again. It was just ok. Their lines are always long but they move fast. They have lots of seating in benches and at the coffee bar and the decor is chic and bright. Staff are efficient but not overly warm or friendly - but they are always frantic busy lol. Their prices are crazy high - but given that they're in the airport it's not a surprise. On my last visit they were only accepting cards and mobile pay methods - no cash - so be aware.

Gluten free mixed berry muffin
Aya R.

Item ordered: Gluten free mixed berry muffin Value: At around $5, price is not terrible Service: The servers are nice but overwhelmed The Review: There aren't many options in the DEN airport. Usually Urth caffe can accommodate dietary needs, like gluten free. At this location, there is a very limited menu and the only gluten-free item is this muffin. I can't speak to any of the other food. You have to wait a significant amount of time, so if you're rushing to a flight, you probably don't want to order anything here.

The Spanish latte was good but not sure if I'll order it again. It's not as memorable as other Spanish lattes I've tried in Miami.

Great espresso and drip coffee. Nice place to sit and relax as well. Service is quick. Rare to find a good coffee place in an airport.

Wow, best service, great vibe, incredible breakfast (Smoked Salmon Benedict; unbelievably thick…read morepudding-like french toast) and actually delicious coffee!!! I'm almost always disappointed in restaurant coffee but these guys had some premium brew going. And they kept the pot circulating around. Originally we were headed to another breakfast place but the lively atmosphere, open to the breeze walls and vaulted ceilings of this place drew us in. The Downtown El Segundo Breakfast scene is actually kind of amazing in general, with lots of options everywhere and easy parking options throughout. Highly recommended morning excursion.

The last time we were here, it was during a busy lunch and both the service and the food were below par. But tonight, it wasn't as busy and our server, Geovani, was excellent. First, we were quickly greeted and asked to select our table (since they were not that busy). Since there was only two of us, we picked a table for two. But, after we decided that we would split an appetizer and an entree, the table for two became way to small way too quickly. Geovani jumped right on this, suggesting we move to a larger table. He helped us move everything over and, voila, we were able to stretch out and relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the pear and blue cheese salad and, wow, we could have just ordered this, split it, and we would have been full. Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal. Hope you get the time to stop in and I hope you get Giovani to answer all your questions and issues. Enjoy!!!

I thought it was a full sit-down restaurant, but it's more like a cafe you can walk up and order from, and either sit at their bar area or outside at any of the tables. Regardless, service was pleasant enough. I got a chicken Caesar wrap and a Sakura matcha, and both were delicious. I loved the floral flavor of the Sakura matcha, and the wrap was fresh and flavorful. This is a great spot to grab a quick bite and coffee from, and I would totally come back if I'm in the area.

As I was working through my message, I had the idea to include a visual illustration--a charcuterie setup to represent the abundant life Jesus offers. Right away, I thought of Alex and Olivia at Joliet Cafe. I've enjoyed Joliet Cafe for years-- whether I've come by in the day to get delicious coffee, or enjoyed the restaurant on a romantic night out with the wife - the food is always outstanding. Alex is truly a masterful chef! So just a couple of weeks before Easter, I reached out with this idea. Not only was he open to it, but he took the time to understand the vision and bring it to life. On the day of, Alex arrived early and prepared a beautiful, abundant "feast" that fit the message perfectly. It didn't just look incredible--it tasted amazing. After the service, we placed the charcuterie next to our lunch table, and it was gone quickly! So many people commented on how delicious and well-presented everything was. I share all this to say: Alex's professionalism, creativity, skill, and flexibility make him an incredible choice for charcuterie boards, catering, or any culinary service.
