Came here today because I was craving some delicious breakfast. After checking on yelp and seeing how good the food looked in the photos I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chilaquiles with eggs and asked for a side of carne asada. The food was delicious! The chilaquiles tasted freshly made and the sauce was JUST RIGHT with a little bit of kick. Eggs were cooked just right and the carne asada was delicious too. The atmosphere was very simple and welcoming. It also looked very clean and well organized. While I was sitting there enjoying my delicious chilaquiles I noticed a lot of people come in and order a breakfast burrito. Will have to give that a try next time around. Found this place because of yelp. It is kinda hidden, but I found it next to the little courtyard. It is a cafe, so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. I went after lunch, and they were still busy. There are lots of customers who called in their order. I ordered the chicken burrito, which was very reasonably priced. About ten minutes later, my order was ready. One of the workers asked if I would eat in or take it to go. There were some empty tables, and I wasn't in a rush so I decided to eat in. The worker kindly placed my food on a tray and brought it to my table. Very good service! I was very impressed with the size, and the presentation of the burrito was neatly wrapped. This ain't no Taco Bell size. It was double the size! As I ate, I could tell that the burrito was made with love and care. Ingredients did not look processed. The tortilla looked homemade. I don't know for sure, but everything tasted great. There are tables that can fit about a dozen people. They were clean and organized. Service again was great! If you want something reasonably priced and don't care for the busy burger joint nearby, I would recommend this place. Definitely will return! read more

Thanks to the Yelpers who reviewed this place, without them, I would have never thought to come here, nor have found this place myself. The place is situated literally in a Courtyard (across from a two level parking lot). I truly believe this is a Mom and Pop establishment and I am more than happy to support this place. They serve fresh squeezed juices, have a small menu, and have some snacks just in case you're not in the mood for a meal. It kind of reminds me of a Cafe that would be located in NYC. I ordered the American breakfast burrito which had hash browns, cheese, eggs, and I chose Turkey bacon. The Turkey bacon was crisped just right without being burnt and it went from one end of the burrito to the other end. I've had plenty of burritos were the bacon or whatever protein is stuffed to one end and once it's done, that's it, you're stuck with just eggs, cheese, and tortilla. This place did it right. They also provided a nicely mild verde (green) salsa. I loved pouring just enough each time I bit into the burrito. I also orderd a Vampiro. This juice consists of beets, carrots, celery, pine apples, and oranges. I know the fruits became room temperature due to the juicing process and the beets were a bit stronger than the rest of the fruits/veggies, but I like beets, so that wasn't much of an issue for me. If I'm in the area again and picking up people from LAX, I will be more than happy to take them here and make their stomachs happy. I'm actually day dreaming about coming here again. Staff was friendly and very accomidating. I felt like I was at a friend's place for breakfast, more than a restaurant. I will gladly be back. read more

I'm addicted to their Mexican Breakfast Burrito (chorizo, cheese, egg and potatos!) So yummy!! The chile aquiles are really good too. Shoot they even do a great PB&J! This is my go-to breakfast spot if I have a few minutes before work to grab a bite to eat. Or even if I'm just heading out on a flight and want a great grab-n-go meal for the plane. Upon arrival, we were a little confused where this place was located since it is pretty much hidden! We drove around in a circle looking for this place but then eventually found out where it was (after driving down the alley way going the wrong way!). One of the best gems Los Angeles has to offer. Nestled in a tiny doldrums-y office courtyard (hence the name), this cafe has a top-three-ever breakfast burrito. I mean - ever. Fat, stuffed with crispy hashbrowns, egg, and just the right amount of your choice meat. I get mine with chicken, spinach and avocado and a pro-tip is asking for it to be served on a plate without a tortilla, making it an affordable, stupid healthy breakfast option. The staff is extremely friendly, I love the family owned atmosphere and humble decorations. Even if there's some random pictures on the wall, like sushi for some reason. Make sure you ask for salsa verde, sometimes they forget. I'm not a praying man, but when I do, I thank the lord for Courtyard Cafe existing. read more

This is a nice little spot tucked away. The location has a couple of tables and chairs inside as well as a little courtyard area that is shared with other establishments outside. I got an egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant and added avocado. The avocado was fresh however the bread it was not warm so the egg was warm the cheese was kind of melted and the croissant was simply cut in half. Looks like a family run business near some office buildings and a parking structure very near LAX. I wanted some breakfast and the reviews looked pretty good so I went in for a try. Very laid back atmosphere with a decent menu of items for breakfast and lunch (omelets, hot & cold sandwiches, and salads)..... I also noticed that this place serves a lot of fresh juices .... They have a nice sized juicer.....so that's cool if you want some fresh juice. I ordered a breakfast burrito that had inside it hash browns, egg whites, sausage and cheese. The burrito came nicely wrapped and came with a side of salsa verde and ketchup. Overall, the burrito wrapped perfectly and had tasted just as expected.... No real thrills with the burrito but it did the job. Everything looks clean and organized here but the restaurant did get a grade B for some reason.... You should keep that in mind. Bummed that the $5-special was not available, I proceeded to order: Mexican Breakfast Burrito I'm a sucker for chorizo burritos, so ordering this was a no-brainer. After sitting down, I noticed the take-out menus so I went to have a look. Lo and behold, this was the same menu posted online. I inquired about the $5-special and was told I could go pick out a drink without any further charge. Score! My two co-workers ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich which was raved about in the reviews. They both thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches and although my burrito was a considerable size, most of it was egg. I had a difficult time finding any chorizo in that thing, let alone anything else. I was a bit disappointed. The food was good and the service was great! I'll definitely make another trip back to try the Pesto Chicken Sandwich. It's definitely a good value for the money! read more
