Very polite service, helped us out when we were in a hurry. The flavor of the birria and asada were just okay. The chicken was a little better. I wouldn't go out of my way to return. The experience was pleasant enough, but nothing to write home about. Because the service was good, I wanna score higher, but I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking the food is worth traveling for. It's decent but I'm sure there are better options around.

Birria Plate Combo and Barria Quesadilla

Me and my mom just landed after a 7 hour flight and came straight here for some 10/10 food truck food. We got the Birria Plate Combo and Barria Quesadilla. Quick and delicious and everyone is so sweet and friendly which is what is needed straight from LAX. could just sit and soak up the sunshine and look at the chipotle they are right outside and question how someone could choose that over this.

Try these salsa Verde which adds a little zing to the experience. As for ambience, the Chase Bank looks beautiful in the Sunset lighting.

Hands down some of the best tacos I've had. The birria is incredibly flavorful--rich, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Aguas Frescas Crispy Taquitos Crispy Taco

I was craving some good taquitos w/guac, what I got here at Niko's was better. Ordered the taquitos/flautas and they were so flavorful, juicy, fresh and delicious. Of course being a birria lover, had to also try a taco with the consommé omg I'm telling you, you won't be disappointed!!! From the friendly and best looking staff, to the freshest great tasting salsa and food, I will definitely be back. A must try.

My favorite pastrami truck wasn't in the area, so I tried Niko's. Service was immediate and friendly. I was in the mood for a torte, so I ordered a birria torte. It was large, with plenty of tender birria, onions and a cup of consume. I enjoyed it very much. I though $16.50 was a rather steep price for a torte, considering most of the other trucks and stands in the area charge $10. I expected to pay a bit more for birria, but not 60% more. While the food was tasty, the value was quite poor.

This was great! Just so you know, we were a family of Gringo tourists from the east coast, and we weren't in town for long, but this was the best meal we had in our trip! Niko was super friendly and we chatted for the entire time we were there. My sister didn't feel like ordering anything, but tried our mother's barilla soup (which hit the spot on a chilly day) and Niko just brought her a complementary cup of soup. He also let me try some delicious family grown coffee. I don't leave reviews very often, but we enjoyed it so much, I felt like Niko earned it! I highly recommend, and will come back if ever in town again. read more

I visited this food truck per the reccommendation of a good friend. There was a small line ( which is a good sign). I normally judge a taco truck by their Al Pastor tacos. So when it was my turn, I ordered some Al Pastor tacos, my friend ordred the birria tacos. All I can say, is that I have found HEAVEN!!! The service was great!! the meat was tender and well seasoned. So I did notice something different. Instead of the traditional fine diced white onions, the tacos had thinly slice red oinions and cilantro on top!!! This subtle change is truly a game changer. Keep in mind, these tacos, are not your regualar small street tacos, they are pretty stuffed and he does not skimp on the meat. The 4 tacos I had, took me out... This will definitely be my new spot to grab tacos at night!!! Keep in mind, its a taco truck, you have ample parking in the Ralphs parking lot its clost to LAX so I would wouldn't drive up Sepulveda, take a side street and enter the Ralphs parking lot on the side and come in that way.. Park grab your food and either eat at one of the tables he has out for you, communial style, in your car, on top of your car, etc. the outside venue makes for good people watching. read more

The tacos were not bad, however I think the onions made the tacos soggy as hell. I didn't like soggy tacos, so maybe tell them to put onions/ cilantro etc on the side. Had an amazing experience here! The carne asada fries were incredible- generous portions of high-quality meat, perfectly paired with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The crinkle cut fries are a game changer. The birria taco was full of flavor, with a nice kick of spice and a juicy, tender filling. There was a small issue with Grubhub- they allowed us to select a 7pm pick-up time, even though the place was already closed. But the staff went above and beyond to get in touch with us and stayed after hours to make sure we got our food. Truly incredible service. Highly recommend this place! read more

Just WOW!!! Everything is so good! Ordered the Birria soft tacos and by far the best I've ever had and I have had many! Meat was flavorful and tender. Tortillas perfectly dipped in the juices and lightly grilled to perfection! The consommé was perfect. Many serve it super watery and lacking flavor. Niko's is not only delicious but has bits of meat in the broth. Off the charts delicious! Everyone who knows me, knows I'm a food snob. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING RIPPED OFF This place has no prices posted.... I ended up ordering the asada fries for 17.50, they were decent but the portion was soooo skimped, around half the amount anywhere else would give you and I felt more ripped off than any other spot I've been to. I wanted to get 4 birria tacos but only had 20$ (3 birria tacos cost 18.50) EXTREMELY OVERPRICED WITH NO PRICES ON MENU! read more

Was recommended this place by yelp, kids were starving after training, was charged over $13 for a bean, cheese, and rice burritos. Very small for the high price paid and was mostly tortilla and not the main ingredients, do not take Yelps recommendation. read more

Super tasty birria ramen and very friendly service. I asked for an over easy egg in there, which I thought made it even better. The birria itself was tender and delicious. Salsa that came with the dish was fresh and tasted great. Though, I thought the "super hot" chili oil based hot sauce could have been a little hotter, but that's just me. Stopped here after a flight and so happy that I did. We were nervous they wouldnt be open because it was pouring rain! But they were. Wife and I got steak burritos w everything on it. The meat was tender and extremely flavorful. It came w a side of consomme. This will forever be the spot for late night grub after landing at LAX. Or perhaps before flights now. Once you're finished paying, they have a salsa bar with onions and cilantro and limes. My usual is their Al pastor tacos! It's a tried and true method for me. Note that there isn't any seating, most people stand up and eat or head back to their car and eat on their trunks or inside their car. There's trash cans all around and I believe there are some porta potties. It's a great spot to hit up if you're hungry and need some tacos in your life. Make sure you clean up after yourself.
