The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was impeccable. The customer service was delightful. This place deserves to be in a restaurant. They're very delicious. I'm glad we took the time and had the opportunity to try them out. We will be coming back.

The perfect stop right before or after a flight (or both). The birria and the soup are perfection. It feels so light without the heavy comatose food feeling. I've tried several things on the menu and they are all top notch! I can't rave enough about this place. Best food truck in the LAX vicinity. The owners attention to detail and making sure that his guests are satisfied goes far beyond expectations. The food quality is amazing and it keeps me coming back.

I love it! Best fried taco I've ever tasted. I could hardly finish my second taco - it's that filling but because it's so good you don't want it to go to waste. Servers are so friendly, it's such a treat!

Okay, let's talk about Niko's Red Tacos because these tacos? They did not come to play. The service is amazing, super friendly and fast. And the owner? Total rockstar. Charismatic, funny, and genuinely cares about his customers. You can feel the good vibes the second you walk up. Now the food... WOWZERS. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The quesadilla is always delicious, it does not miss. And the consomé? Always hot, rich, and fresh. You can literally taste the love in every bite. I had to take a doggie bag home because I refused to leave a single taco behind. The area is super chill, with other local business owners hanging out and supporting each other -- love that energy. Parking was easy (a true LA miracle ). If you're anywhere in LA, do yourself a favor and stop by Niko's Red Tacos. Great food, great people, great energy. A total must! The area itself is super chill, with other local business owners hanging around and supporting each other, love that vibe. Parking was easy (yes, easy parking in LA!) which makes the whole experience even better. If you're in LA - or even just passing through - do yourself a favor and stop by Niko's Red Tacos. Great food, great people, great energy. An absolute must! RIQUÍSIMO!!! :D

I was craving some good taquitos w/guac, what I got here at Niko's was better. Ordered the taquitos/flautas and they were so flavorful, juicy, fresh and delicious. Of course being a birria lover, had to also try a taco with the consommé omg I'm telling you, you won't be disappointed!!! From the friendly and best looking staff, to the freshest great tasting salsa and food, I will definitely be back. A must try.

My favorite pastrami truck wasn't in the area, so I tried Niko's. Service was immediate and friendly. I was in the mood for a torte, so I ordered a birria torte. It was large, with plenty of tender birria, onions and a cup of consume. I enjoyed it very much. I though $16.50 was a rather steep price for a torte, considering most of the other trucks and stands in the area charge $10. I expected to pay a bit more for birria, but not 60% more. While the food was tasty, the value was quite poor.

The tacos were not bad, however I think the onions made the tacos soggy as hell. I didn't like soggy tacos, so maybe tell them to put onions/ cilantro etc on the side. Service was good the workers were very friendly and nice/ helpful. It was a good truck in westchester. Right outside of the Ralph's, wasn't too busy

Had an amazing experience here! The carne asada fries were incredible- generous portions of high-quality meat, perfectly paired with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The crinkle cut fries are a game changer. The birria taco was full of flavor, with a nice kick of spice and a juicy, tender filling. There was a small issue with Grubhub- they allowed us to select a 7pm pick-up time, even though the place was already closed. But the staff went above and beyond to get in touch with us and stayed after hours to make sure we got our food. Truly incredible service. Highly recommend this place!

If you're landing at LAX and hungry, go here. Get the Kesi-Taco with Birria. Niko is a great host and chef. Open late. Very satisfying.

I ordered two carne asada, one chorizo, and one al pastor. The condiment setup was also really good. Let me tell you, this hit the spot! I loved the grilled onions, serranos, hot sauce, and especially the curtido de habanero,so good. The carne asada was okay slightly on the tougher side but the chorizo and al pastor were really solid. They had the masa on the side and were making the tortillas fresh and by hand. Yum. Seating: - They have seating to the left of their grill (tables, folding chairs, a tarp overhead). Depending on the time of day, sometimes the shade doesn't quite cover your face--the sun was setting and hitting us right in the eyes, so we switched sides to sit facing away from the sun once those seats were available.

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

We found easy street parking in the neighborhood on 41st Street, and waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the asada tacos. They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.

It took me longer to decide what I wanted to try than what it took for the line to move and for it to be my turn to order. So yea, these folks are FAST and very courteous as well. They have real Al Pastor on the trompo (the spit) so of course I ordered pastor tacos and a pastor mulita. I also ordered a few SUADERO tacos which you don't find just anywhere. I am still raving about the amount of meat and flavor of the food here, it's insanely delicious. Once you get your food you make your way down to the end of the taco stand where you are met with an amazing array of fresh taco fixings and salsas. I like that they were open late to satisfy a late night taco craving. Even though there is typically a line they are quite efficient with orders and even have a parking lot/outdoor dining space in addition to their indoor space so it doesn't feel cramped. It was my first visit so I had to get a mix of their tacos and burritos with the various meats they serve. It was a nice fact to know their tortillas have some lard also so it adds a nice flavor as well. + Burrito 2.0 (asada) + Chivichanga (chicken and beef) + Tacos (chorizo, tripe, cabeza, asada) I enjoyed the burrito with asada and thought it was good portion size for the cost. The guac, cheese, and beans pair well with the meat and has a nice grill on the tortilla. The tacos were a solid size as well but I was surprised to find the tripe as my favorite because they fry it and it adds a nice crunch/texture change. The cabeza was a close second with the stewed flavors. The chivichangas were also tasty but not the traditional chimichanga I was anticipating. It's definitely on the softer side as everything mixes together and there's not much of a texture change. Worth trying if you are curious though. I ordered to go so I didn't see if they have a salsa bar but I did have to pay $.10 per to go container which would be nice if they were free. However, I liked mixing their red and green salsa with each bite. I am curious to try their avocado salsa next time. Overall, I thought the portion sizes were good for the prices and I felt full afterwards.
