I was staying in topanga on an artist residency when I found this pharmacy. I have had the most positive pharmacy experience ive ever had in my 42 years ofevery interaction that I have from text communication to interacting with the pharmacist herself and every Front desk person I feel cared about. It's prompt and fast And they have cycled my medication so that I only have to go in once a month I will be driving to Calabasas from LA from as long as I am in Los Angeles highly recommend this pharmacy

    The best throat lozenges ever!!!!!

Most large drugstore chains are not what they used to be. This CVS is one of the larger ones and it…read moreseems to be stocked a bit better than some of the others. It is located in the El Camino Shopping Center. Being in a big shopping center provides plenty of parking, which is a plus. This is not my main pharmacy, but I stop by on occasion when I am visiting other establishments in the shopping center. The workers that I have encountered have been helpful and I am able to find items in stock that other CVS locations do not have. This store is open 24 hours a day, and I believe the pharmacy is only closed for 30 minutes at lunch. If you need to find something during the middle of the night, this is your location.

That's right he pee'd only just little cause I stopped him. Here I am returning month after month and that post gets dirtier and dirtier and so are the rugs! This place is so ghetto and for so much money in this area this place brings the shopping center down. The standard of practice to get your meds is the most un private experience. Go ahead and walk right up and disclose your date of birth and your name out loud so the people 3 feet behind can hear your private details. Next the pharmacists might as well call out your private meds can we talk about hipa? Zero privacy! I've listened to people receive Xanax, levothyroxin3

Since this location is the closest to our house, I've continued shopping here and tried to overlook those experiences. I'm giving 3 stars because there are also employees who provide excellent customer service. Oscar is always friendly and welcoming. He smiles every time I need assistance, especially when the self-checkout isn't working properly. He is patient, helpful, and professional. Brianna is also very kind, as was the younger lady working on the evening of 6/1/26. The positive attitude and customer service from employees like Oscar, Brianna, and the other team members are the reason I'm not giving a lower rating.

I was never notified of the cancellation, so I called to understand what had happened. At CVS, you need to leave a message and the pharmacist will call you back. They called me back in a timely manner, which is appreciated, However, as the call connected, I overheard the pharmacist making disparaging comments about my voicemail to another employee, and they were both laughing about it. I was shocked and found it unprofessional and disrespectful. When I addressed what I had heard to the pharmacist, the conversation quickly became confrontational. Rather than acknowledging my concern, the pharmacist became defensive, stating that she was the one who was offended - justifying her rude and combative behavior. I couldn't understand why she was the one who was offended (is it because I called out the behavior?) When I asked for her name, she replied only, "Pharmacist." I clarified that I was requesting her actual name, at which point she hung up on me. I immediately contacted corporate to report the interaction. Patients should be treated with professionalism and respect, especially when calling with questions about their medications. A simple apology or professional explanation would have gone a long way. As a result of this experience, I transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy and will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed in the way this pharmacist spoke to me, I hope she doesn't treat people this way on a daily basis.
