It is located in the El Camino Shopping Center. Being in a big shopping center provides plenty of parking, which is a plus. This is not my main pharmacy, but I stop by on occasion when I am visiting other establishments in the shopping center. The workers that I have encountered have been helpful and I am able to find items in stock that other CVS locations do not have. This store is open 24 hours a day, and I believe the pharmacy is only closed for 30 minutes at lunch. If you need to find something during the middle of the night, this is your location.

The prices of things will vary depending on what you're looking for but most of the time, it is pricer here than other places from my experience. At 8:30 this pharmacy called me and asked me when I'd like to pick up my script! I was sure there would be a wait, so I called to check and the person I spoke with told me it was ready and I could come in at any time. I arrived 15 minutes later and when I walked in, the pharmacist asked, "Are you Dan?" and after checking ID, etc walked from behind the counter and proceeded to go over every medicine in the bag, one by one making sure I understood the instructions. Total time inside was less than 10 minutes, and I've never received service like this at a pharmacy! Thankfully, I don't fall ill often, but the next time I do, I'll absolutely be back. I was never notified of the cancellation, so I called to understand what had happened. At CVS, you need to leave a message and the pharmacist will call you back. They called me back in a timely manner, which is appreciated, However, as the call connected, I overheard the pharmacist making disparaging comments about my voicemail to another employee, and they were both laughing about it. I was shocked and found it unprofessional and disrespectful. When I addressed what I had heard to the pharmacist, the conversation quickly became confrontational. Rather than acknowledging my concern, the pharmacist became defensive, stating that she was the one who was offended - justifying her rude and combative behavior. I couldn't understand why she was the one who was offended (is it because I called out the behavior?) When I asked for her name, she replied only, "Pharmacist." I clarified that I was requesting her actual name, at which point she hung up on me. I immediately contacted corporate to report the interaction. Patients should be treated with professionalism and respect, especially when calling with questions about their medications. A simple apology or professional explanation would have gone a long way. As a result of this experience, I transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy and will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed in the way this pharmacist spoke to me, I hope she doesn't treat people this way on a daily basis.

There are two people that I wanted to give a little recognition. The first is Matthew. He is very polite and goes above and beyond to be helpful. The second is Allan. He is my favorite person to encounter at the pharmacy. When I get in line to pick up at the pharmacy, my day is better if I see he's cashiering. The store itself continues to be out of stock of so many non-prescription items, but at least Matthew and Allan make the visits a little bit better.
