Usually cousins is my go to. This time instead of a warm steak and cheese with lettuce, tomatoes and onion, I received a plain cold steak and cheese. There was only lettuce and cheese on it. It was surely an old sandwich. The steak was cold and cheese dry and old. The lettuce on sandwich was brown. Shame to cousins for passing this inferior service and sandwich off thru the drive thru. I just had a great experience at the Waukesha Cousins Subs on Grandview. I had a reward for a free birthday sub and apparently I needed the app in order to redeem it. The manager and the person working the window adjusted my total so that I could redeem it today as a courtesy and were very friendly and both of them wished me happy birthday. read more

I do really enjoy this Wisconsin sandwhich chain quite a bit. For the most part you can take this review and apply it to many in the area. There are some "fake" Cousins Subs stores out there, and I will tell you why. The greatest sub they offer is the cheesesteak. It comes in a couple of different varieties, but the jist is the same. The key to the greatness of this delight is that it is grilled fresh (add hot onions for a bonus). The problem is that not all Cousins have grills. Thus having to make this sandwhich in a microwave.....no justice. So I only go to the ones that have grills, because that way I can get this awesome meal, and add some fries to that as well (also very good). If in my travels I chance across one of the "sleezy fake" Cousins without a grill, I pray that they are serving the chicken salad sub which ain't too shabby either. If they don't, I leave and just go hungry. This of course is just me and my opinion, but who am I to say. read more

We were not given chips with our order that were paid for. Upon returning home I called & the women asked if we wanted to come back. No, I did not. She said she would put our name in a book & the next time tell the order taker we have chips coming & to check the book. We returned on 5/2/22 & told our name is not down anywhere & without a receipt nothing can be done. Although not an enormous amount of money, we were shorted & treated rudely. We will not return. The tomato's they put on my sub are rotten. That's disgusting. If I get sick, I will be coming in and complaining. This was clearly intentional because I came around 9:50, they close at ten because I had a long night at work. and there is no way that they did not see that those are rotten. Was in town for a family function. Quite terrible service. Drive through employee was very rude over the speaker and the window. We took our time deciding at the drive through and We ordered three large subs. We asked for cucumbers on one and no tomatoes on the other. Neither request was fulfilled. Went through the drive-thru this afternoon. Ordered a ham & cheese sub and cup of chicken noodle soup. Service was fast and the food tasted fresh. I love Cousin's multigrain bread and I appreciate their addition of other toppings (green peppers and black olives). I always go for ez-mayo since they put too much on for my liking. Haven't had a Cousins for a long time. Very fresh turkey sub just as I remember it. The dining area is nicely done. They have a soda dispenser that mixes just about any flavor you want I selected a diet Fanta cherry. Oh it tasted so good that I wonder if it really was diet. I'll live. read more

Fast and friendly service from the staff. Interaction with both ladies was pleasant. Subs were yummy and they had plenty of broccoli soup! I often forget about this location, but I'll be more than happy to drive the extra few minutes. Best in Waukesha. read more

Yesterday I ordered online and I ordered the Italian Special a sandwich thats supposed to be hot already and have mayo on it. When I got my sandwich it was cold and had no mayo so I called the store and asked if I got the wrong sandwich and the guy said " you didn't specifically say you wanted your sandwich hot or have mayo on it". Why should I say I want my sandwich hot and have mayo on it when it supposed to come that way. He tried to put the customer in the wrong when the person who made my sandwich is in the wrong. I will never be ordering from this location again I'll be ordering from a location that knows how to make their sandwich's properly and not blame the customer when their sandwich wasn't made the right way. And I know how this sandwich is supposed to come because I used to work at Cousins. And putting the customer in the wrong is just straight up bad customer service. But nice try for blaming the customer. read more

I always have good service at this cousins. I don't necessary like the prices sometimes but I usually end up feeling it's worth it. So, that's a good thing. Right now, the pulled pork and kraut sub along with the cheese curds are my lunch on days I want to treat myself. YUMMY! read more

I actually went to a different location but I think they are the same all over. It was 1000% better than Subway. I don't live in Wisconsin but if I did, this would be my sub shop. The bread was nice and chewy--not bready and dry like Subway. The sandwiches are really large and they pack them well with goodies. read more
