Back for more! After getting the Elite Yelp experience at Covenant, had to come back for more! Everyone there is just so friendly!! They greet you with a smile, serve fabulous coffee and you walk out with a new energy in your step. I got the Chagamatcha. Probably didn't spell that correctly. It was delicious! Cute place! Decor is great! Tables available to sit and enjoy your coffee. They serve food too. I wish they were near my house because I would make this my everyday coffee shop if it was closer.

Came here to work remotely while my older daughters got their hair cut. This place never disappoints. Coffee and food are great and the service is top-notch. Plus the price was great for two drinks and four breakfast tacos just $23.50. The chill vibe always makes me feel like I'm at home. So much better than the coffee chains out there.

Stopped in en route to Northern California. Needed a pick me up and something to eat. I'd been here 7-8 years before. Didn't register until I pulled up. So happy they're still here. Has a macchiato and breakfast sandwich. Both were excellent. The building is a previous bank. The roasting equipment is all front and center so you see everything, which is nice. An old bank safe is also out front. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Every time I get a chance I stop by. We had a Yelp event Years ago and I've been dropping in ever since. It's coffee with a cause. Every cup goes toward the community and those in foster care. So many young people have been successfully evolved into the work field through his cafe. Some still work there and are part of management. The coffee is good prices average $4 or $4.5 for a specialty beverage They have all the alternative milks as well Stop by sit in a peaceful environment indoors or out and enjoy hope in a cup

Great coffee, great breakfast, and fantastic service. The only downside is its location. I ordered a mocha frappe and it was sooo good! It wasn't too sweet and had the just the right amount of flavor. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and pretty big! The egg, sausage, and cheese was placed perfectly in the bagel bun (which was toasted on the outside and soft in the inside). Although there was only one person working at the time, and people came in one after another, she maintained her patience and professionalism. There was one point when a homeless person came in to ask for water/restroom, and became upset (and violent) when she was told it was only for customers. Apparently, she was a usual visitor and always acted that way, even when she was given water and an opportunity to use the restroom. I will be planning on visiting this establishment more so in the near future. I love the fact that they are non-profit and that all the proceeds help mentor and provide jobs for former foster youth!

    Black Coffee

I got their black coffee, coffee of the day, and a chagmatcha Great customer service! My favorite is the Chagamatcha! If you're a matcha fan, you GOT to get this. My friends got their coffee and loved it! My fiance (who is a coffee enthusiast) loved the coffee of the day. His friend who got the black coffee said it was the best roast he ever got. I also got a quiche (ate that one quickly) and the lady who was serving me was so sweet! I'm so glad they are collaborating with Cloud Nine (check them out as well) and oh boy, I'm surprised I haven't came here sooner!! I will be coming back!

Last few sips of my delicious dark roast pod!

I haven't actually visited Covenant Coffee in person, but I bought a box of dark roast coffee pods at a supporting location. I was so excited for my morning coffee. The smell of that pod brewing was heavenly. I was so excited to take my first sip. Smooth and bold. Just the way I like it. It was delicious! Oh my goodness! I'm so glad I bought those pods! I will definitely make an effort to visit the storefront, but I'm super happy to find pods in other locations. Thanks guys, for such a beautiful roast!

If you love breakfast foods, you definitely can't go wrong by going here. I always struggle with what to choose because everything is so good! If you have a sweet tooth, the B-N-W waffle which has banana, Nutella, and walnuts for the toppings would be a great choice. The chilaquiles with any choice of meat is incredibly flavorful and one of my favorites on the menu. I also appreciate their extensive drinks menu as you can choose anything from a michelada to a latte. At this specific downtown location, the service is always great. The servers are friendly, attentive, and always make sure you're satisfied with your food/drinks.

We finally decided to try Huevo House, and with a name like that I was expecting both cuisines, but I wasn't expecting the Mexican flavors to be this good! The menu was a decent size--one side for breakfast and the back for lunch. I didn't look at the lunch side, but the breakfast options were great: plenty to choose from without feeling overwhelming. They serve pozole on Fridays and Saturdays and menudo on Sundays. The pozole was full of flavor and honestly one of the highlights of our visit. Thank goodness we finally found a place that satisfies us both! I ordered the Country Benedict and he ordered the Brunchiladas--both dishes were delicious and came in generous portions. We also tried the Abuelita Latte and the Mazapán Latte. Both were very good, just on the sweeter side, so if you're not into sweet coffee definitely ask for half sweet. Our server was attentive and informative. She took great care of us and even made conversation, which added to the overall experience. Overall, such a good visit. We'll definitely be back!

The vibes in the new space are absolutely immaculate. There is so much more energy here, and the decorations are incredibly cute. It's the perfect backdrop for a killer meal. The Main Event: This time around, I went with the En Fuego Burger. This beast is loaded with a chile-spiced beef patty, pepperjack, sharp cheddar, thick-cut bacon, chipotle mayo, pepper relish, pickled jalapeños, and a mountain of fried jalapeños + onion strings. The Flavor Profile: This burger delivers on every level, but those fried onion strings were to die for. For the side, I got the sweet potato fries, which are served as big, thick-cut wedges. They come paired with a duo of spicy ketchup and a marshmallow dipping sauce. Switching between the two was amazing, the marshmallow sauce actually makes the fries feel like a dessert. The Drink: To wash it all down, I ordered the basil lemonade, and omg, I need to figure out how to recreate this at home. It's exactly what it sounds like, crisp, refreshing lemonade with a perfect herbal basil finish. The Verdict: If you loved their old spot, the new location takes everything to the next level. Between the upgraded atmosphere, the dessert-like fries, and that refreshing lemonade, I will absolutely be coming back here again and again.

I immediately noticed that my favorite dish, the shakshuka eggs, was no longer on the menu. Thinking it might just be a seasonal change, I decided to try something different. I ordered the carrot ginger soup, beet and goat cheese salad, and my usual favorite cocktail, the Pear Necessities. The cocktail was the first disappointment. It tasted completely different from what I've come to enjoy, none of the smoky mezcal flavor and none of the sweetness from the pear liquor that made it a favorite. I figured it might just be a new bartender and tried to brush it off. The carrot ginger soup was just okay. I found myself searching for both the carrot and ginger flavors, neither of which really stood out. The beet and goat cheese salad was fine, but it's hard to get too excited about a salad. Overall, the food felt subpar compared to what I've come to expect from Moo Creamery. The restaurant itself was also surprisingly loud, making conversation difficult and adding to the overall frustration. It was hard to get our waitress's attention throughout the meal, and service felt disjointed. The most disappointing moment came when we noticed my son's chicken strips and fries sitting on the counter for 13 minutes before they were finally brought to our table. By then, it was difficult not to question whether the food was still as fresh and hot as it should have been. We came in excited to experience the new location, but between the noisy atmosphere, inattentive service, and food that didn't live up to Moo Creamery's usual standards, we left feeling disappointed. Sadly, I probably won't be returning. It's hard to justify giving it another try when there are so many other restaurants in town that consistently deliver quality food, service, and a better overall dining experience.

SMITTENS STAPLE IS THEIR ABILITY TO MISS THE FLAVOR IN EVER SINGLE DISH…read more Update: coming back after some palate development... smitten is one of the most tasteless restaurants in town. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
