    Mexican Coffee

My friend and I wanted to try out a new spot and after coming here once we had to come back for the full experience. The food is good nothing to complain about, the prices were fair. I got to say the "Maple Bar shaken espresso" was probably the best drink I've had in a long time.. I'll probably stick to the drinks over the food here. The spot fills up quick but they do have a small patio and they also let you sit in the other dining area so that's nice. It's nice spot to hang out at and they open until 8pm which is great for a cafe . definitely see myself coming here a lot more.

The Padre Hotel is always a great time and one of my favorite local food/drink spots! The cafe is inside of the hotel and I'm so happy to see that they've extended their hours until later in the day. I came here to study and the ambience in the cafe was great. It was lively with others eating and hanging out as well as others there getting some work done too. The food looked delicious which I will definitely have to try next time. This is also the only cafe in town that I know of where they will spike your coffee with alcohol, which is definitely a bonus point. The staff were very helpful, quick, and accommodating. I look forward to coming back soon!

Super sweet matcha. Wish it was more grassy lol. The soft top was delicious. It felt like banana cream pie! Would definitely come back to try more of their menu. Cute location and atmosphere!

06/13/26 AMAZING SPOT. I come here for their matcha and it's so good! The staff are so nice and helpful! They even have a stamp card where you get the fifth drink for free! I saw someone on here say their matcha is sweet which I'd say, not really. I do get mine with extra syrup and cold foam but just a simple matcha latte isn't very sweet. Cute small spot to study as well! They have all kinds of cold foams as well, I'd recommend the cookie dough :)

The food was good! The workers were so sweet! It took a while to get my drink so she upgraded it to a large. :) The cashier gave me a genuine compliment Atmosphere was fine nothing crazy, but chill. A little bit pricey just because everything was separate, but regardless it was still filling if you get it alone. Definitely recommend. Also found out that it's haunted yesterday on TikTok and I went two weeks ago, oh well. ‍

You will be well informed if you buy coffee here.

Comfortable and inexpensive coffee shop located in the Padre Hotel. I found the coffee to be delicious. Good Value, service friendly and prompt,, and the place very comfortable with a nice Vibe. And thanks for buying about a dozen free newspapers in the morning

What a great dog friendly breakfast spot. Service was quick. Staff very friendly. Food was great and just what we needed. Avocado Smash probably one of the best I have had. Breakfast Sandwich was great and full of eggs and bacon and cheese. Ambiance was bright and clean.

Spiked Mexican Coffee (tequila, cream cinnamon)

Located on the first floor of The Padre, I tried Farmacy one day while staying at the hotel. The employees were very nice and welcoming. I decided to try something new and ordered a spiked Mexican coffee (tequila, cream, cinnamon). Note - if you order a spiked drink, you have to drink it inside (you can't take it to go as it has alcohol). The spiked Mexican coffee was good, no complaints. Not a bad choice for coffee/pastries if you don't want to leave the hotel!

I am writing another review for the Farmacy Cafe. I usually would not change my rating of a business, however, I would like to make sure that everyone knows about the Farmacy Cafe. I want to change my rating from Five Stars to SIX, but I cannot. Everything I have had at the Farmacy has been GREAT. There was a problem with my breakfast the other day and it was immediately corrected. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I cannot say enough about my experiences at the Farmacy Cafe. GO, GO, GO! Everything is good. Everything is perfect. As a side note, the staff are EXCELLENT!

    Chorizo breakfast burrito

Service was great this was my second time having coffee here I had the latte with almond milk and Irish cream great on the stronger side my preference. The avocado toast was great, potatoes even better the best out of our experience. The chorizo burrito was good nothing wrong with it just something I probably would've chosen to make at home for cost efficiency. Our total was 49$ after tip. Both times I've been the ambiance has been chill, just people in their own bubble.

There was a time I'd pick up the party-size for my coworkers when I liked them... but alas, times have changed so more for me. The staff there are always friendly and awesome, and on days that I'm lucky enough, I get to actually enjoy the cafe. So grateful you guys are here and sharing flavors from across the world.

The most recent time I was there I had an iced coffee and a pretty decent breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, and bacon on an everything bagel. It was tasty and came out quickly. The bacon was chopped up into the egg, which I liked. They also recently started selling these incredible cinnamon rolls from a local bakery called Just Cinnamon. If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
