My boyfriend showed me this little hidden gem downtown. It's a cute older coffee shop. I got a breakfast bagel, coffee cake , iced chai, and a strawberry shake. While waiting , there's another room to sit and relax in. They have books, magazines , and board/card games. It also seems like a great place to study. They brought us our items which is so sweet. I mainly got the food for my mom, and she said it was amazing. The chai was great too and refreshing. The strawberry drink eeehhh I tasted a lot of syrup. Could of been better. Other than that, 10/10!

Good coffee and even better snacks! I went a little crazy ordering a Gingerbread Latte, chocolate chip cookie, lemon loaf, and a quiche but everything was delicious. Service was pretty fast considering how busy this place was but it didn't feel overcrowded. Good amount of people working/ hanging but not too loud. Would love to return here.

I've heard of Dagny's being great reliable coffee spot, but it was okay. I got a Caramel macchiato with oat milk and my sister got a mocha. We both let the barista know we liked our coffee on the sweet side, but this did not appear in the drink . Although if you like stronger coffee you will like this place. Baristas were very sweet and place is a great spot for doing work etc.

I love how chill and unassuming the place is. We saw a lot of students on their laptops, friends catching up, and we just went for a quick Sunday coffee date. They also have some pastries/desserts that we were not able to try since we were full but their coffee was good. Nothing very unforgettable but definitely tasted good and not watered down. I love how people can stay as long as they want without feeling being rushed. It may look outdated but I don't know but it seems to work. One of the few coffee shops that are open on a weekend afternoon. Definitely a plus.

Went out for a morning walk with friends during break and came to this coffee shop. This is my first time here. A good selection of hot and cold drinks. Glad to see iced matcha latte on the menu. Was reading some of the precious reviews and some said theirs were watered down, etc. Mine was perfectly made. You can tell a good matcha latte when the drink doesn't have too much settled particles at the bottom. Got mine with oat milk and 2 pumps of non-flavored syrup. It was perfect and got me through my 2-hour morning meeting. Seems like a chill ambiance with plenty of seating. Due to location, it does attract some transients in the area. Some windows were boarded up with wood so I'm guessing recent break-ins from the lot. But hey, even more reason to help support small businesses once in a while even if just popping in and out for a drink.

Came here to kill time before my friend and i's next plan for the evening. I ordered an iced matcha latte and i was asked if i'd like to add any sweetener and the worker listed out my options and i went ahead with Vanilla. My drink tasted really good! And I love me a good matcha. So i was very content and satisfied. I also loved how theres a shelf filled with games and books on it! It truly added to the cafe vibe of the place, but I wish it was placed in a more noticeable section. I only noticed it when i was on my way to the bathroom. My friend and I played one of the board games and it was so fun and time really flew by quick. I heard they host a lot of different themed nights for the community such as book club or game night so i'd love to come back to participate and just relax !

Stopped by Thursday morning for some early morning coffee. The service was good, the coffee was alright. The place definitely needs an upgrade or clean up. It felt like an old hostel. I didn't order any food as it looked like it has been sitting all week inside the fridge. My latte has no art as they couldn't do it.

Loved this coffee shop! The cashier was so sweet and nice I always ask if the iced lattes are sweet because I personally don't like them too sweet but she was able to make it just the way I like it! They have plenty of space to study, work, or just hangout. Highly recommend!

I was in the downtown area of Bakersfield with my husband and stopped in. Dagny's is a nice coffee shop that offers a variety of beverages--hot, cold, blended, alcoholic. There are desserts available as well as a small menu. There was one barista working behind the counter so there was a little bit of a wait and he apologized for this. Similar to Starbucks, your name is asked for upon your order but our names were not taken, I suppose given the crowded atmosphere. The place is clean and gives quaint, quirky vibes. It is apparent this place has its regulars, given the camaraderie shared between its patrons and staff. The coffees were great.

Stopped in to grab a cold latte and snack. I found this place while walking through a downtown street market on Sunday. I ordered a decaf latte and had the broccoli and cheddar quiche. Both were delicious! The service was quick and super friendly! The coffee shop is cute and has plenty of seating. There is wifi and saw a few people working in their laptops. They have other items I'd like to try so I'll be back soon. Enjoy!

My sad dry bagel breakfast.

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As they deserve a free half star for all of the Uncharted Adventures that they are a part of...lol get it.. nevermind.. bye for now...

As I was walking I saw the sign for this place and was happy I did because my other coffee options were a fast food restaurant or the famous coffee chain. It was a bit confusing to locate. It was tucked away in the back of a commercial office space type building. Once inside the place was very clean and organized. Very minimalist design. I was only one of 4 total people inside. My order was taken quickly. I ordered an iced americano with a ham and cheese turnover. Coffee was on point. No notes. No complaints. The pastry however was not good. They asked me if I wanted it heated up. I said I did. I saw her put it in the microwave, and I assumed they turned it on. When I bit into it (I had already left and walked across the street) it was cold. Like cold cold. On top of that it was flavorless which made it worse. Stick to the coffee or make sure you check the temp of the food prior to leaving.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk, and it was flavorful but not overly sweet. While I appreciated having a vegan option, I would love to see a few more plant-based choices added to the menu. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return for the coffee and the comfortable space to meet with friends.

Being driven back from the Grand Canyon having spent nearly a week camping with some awesome people from SJSU, we were informed we were staying at a Super 8 motel overnight to take hot showers and sleep on beds (one week of camping will do that). I had search on Google for coffee nearby and saw this "Bikini Bottom Coffee" shop pop up and yes, I was intrigued of a coffee shop with bikini clad baristas. But it was getting late and we had an early departure for San Jose the next day so I bookmarked this place just in case the free coffee and breakfast offering at the motel did not speak to me (it was terrible...). The morning of the departure, I got up early and it was just a 1-minute walk there and they have two(?) drive by lanes for cars to pull up to order. You can also just walk up to order. Aside from the obvious -- baristas in bikinis taking your order, they have an extensive list of coffee drinks and souvenirs you can buy. Given I need my morning cup of coffee, I opted for the House Blend Bue Coffee and their French toast breakfast sandwich. My verdict? The coffee was alright. I have had better coffee, but given my choice of free (gross) coffee at Super 8 vs my bikini coffee, the latter was a much better solid choice. The French toast breakfast sandwich was heavy with sausage, bacon, and eggs if you are a meat lover. Customer service was excellent so I will give them props for being patient with me while deciding what to order. Overall, it's a good coffee pit stop (if Dutch Bros isn't around) with good customer service vibes (and no, it is not what you think lol).

I will never understand why places that have "espresso" in the business name, don't take care to make sure their espresso is at very least drinkable.

Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
