WARNING! Stay far away from this repair shop Coventry Motors & tell your friends and relatives the same as well! The head Mechanic's name is Andrew and let me tell you he is a piece of work boy! The guy cuts deals with people on not charging tax for cash but then when you arrive to pay him claims he had to do additional work and your bill miraculously goes up almost as much as what the tax would have been had he charged it! He's a flat out crook!! My sister took her car there and he charged no tax on $3000 for cash. I took my car there and spent almost $6600 on repairs and when I showed up to pay said oh we had to replace your antifreeze tank and another $300 plus appears on the bill That he never asked me for my approval to change!! The crook basically took that money and stuck it in his pocket cause rather than give his customer the break on spending less on a $6600 bill! Then my father who is a 90 year old man who loves his car had me bring it to him! Well of course $4500 more charged and when I said to him same deal Andrew no tax he flat out refused for cash saying it was already in the system! The thief made me pay the tax and he was promptly going to remove it from the system so he could pocket the $350 tax for himself! This is an unscrupulous person Andrew charges tax when he feels like it when people pay cash so he can pocket the tax himself and doesn't charge tax when he sees fit so he can tack a new charge on the bill so he can again pocket the tax only in a different way! The audacity of this man to do that to a 90 year old man shows you exactly who this bum is! The IRS and better Business Bureau will be hearing about him soon enough! To make matters worse a few weeks ago my sister again brings her car to him and he quotes her $8500 to repair on a 2006 vehicle! Well we were all tired of being raped by his over priced repairs and enough was enough! My sister took her car elsewhere and of course the thief Andrew had to charge her for a diagnostic as it wouldn't surprise me if he charged his own mother $200 if she needed an oil change! My sister took her car elsewhere telling this unscrupulous mechanic she was going to get rid of the car. The mechanic she found fixed everything in the diagnostic report for $1600! Get that folks almost $7000 saved by going elsewhere! He feels as though he can rape and pillage the people of Huntignton because they got money in that town and he takes full advantage of charging them sky high prices! If you don't believe this review take your car there and get prices from this sheister and after he hits you over the head and tells you a laundry list of things he wants to fix that many don't need to be done or have several years to be replaced go to another mechanic that's got a good reputation and see what you are quoted! I have a classic 1967 Mustang and was recommended by another mechanic to use Pete and Andrew. They knowledge and advice are amazing. I recently purchased new wheels and had a very difficult time with manufacturer getting the fitment right. Pete and Andrew were so patient and attentive and finally got the manufacturer to do it right. Then I had rough engine and exhaust issues. This is not your basic modern engine. This is a specifically built out powerful engine more set up for racing than you every day engine. But Pete and Andrew are so expert that they figure out the issues, solved them one by one and now it runs and sounds great! And they did it all for a very fair and reasonable price. Kudos to a very professional, honest, reliable, caring, etc... the list goes on and on type of service. The ability to keep my 13 and 2 -19 year old 2004 Mercedes S500, 2010 Chrysler 300 and 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 cars operating in NEW running condition and fixing anything that goes wrong with them is a testament to how this shop differentiates itself from all others.
