I used to come here in high school when it was Herfys. Thought we would try it, we had fish and chips which was amazing and a burger. Their service is amazing, friendly staff. ...my first time here, right when they opened at 10AM, so service was not a problem at all. I agree with most reviewers, the food is fresh and full of flavor. And yes, the fries are really good! This place reminds me of an old school mom and pop place with soda shop vibes, meets drive-in old-school Sonic. Ish. Almost everything is deep fried, but the taste is classic. They have burgers, chicken and seafood sandwiches, fries, appetizers like mozz sticks, and shakes. My husband's favorite is the oyster burger. He says it's fresh and the flavor is delicious. I was in the area and did a search for burgers and the yelp page for this place and website are deceptive as best. Yelp has photos that make this look like a traditional restaurant and the business site has tease photo's of the burgers like it's Red Robin. First time I was here, the service was super friendly. I had the Chicken Strip Basket. The pieces of chicken were large and it all sat on a bed of crispy fries. The chicken wasn't that good, it tasted like Food Service chicken instead of something had breaded ad battered. In short, it was the basic Tyson chicken you get at Costco. They also made a mistake, they gave one small cup on dipping sauce, when I went back to the counter for another they charged me. Now, had the girl who took my order been there, I'm confident she would have handed me another cup with a smile for free, but the female who was at the counter at the time decided to nickel and dime me. Based on the portion and original service, I thought I would double back and give them another try. On my return, I decided to try a burger. I had a bacon cheese and I'll tell you one think, there wasn't a bit of the burger that didn't have bacon. Most of the time, you have to remove the bun just to make sure there is bacon on the burger. You could see it and taste it here. It was actually one of the best fast food burgers I've had in a while, however, I would take Frugals over this place. At the end of the day they are fairly comparable, but if I recall, the same meal with fries and a drink is $3-$4 dollars less. The funny thing about Auburn is it's Auburn. Any fast food stand charging more than Red Robin has lost their mind. For $15 I could have had Robin with Bottomless fries and for another buck or two I could add a bottomless beverage. Again the burger was pretty damn good, but the price was too high here. There is a place in Bellevue called Broiler Bay, it's a smokey patty, with a massive side of fries and the rent there is probably double that of Cow and Cod, yet, their prices are exactly the same. See my point... I'm sure they won't drop their prices, but I won't be back and considering the place was dead both times I was here, I don't see this place getting off the ground. Price could be better.... If you buy a meal and upgrade to a shake it's another $3.25... end up spending like $24 for one meal. BUT, the banana shake is SOOOOOO GOOD. They have the BEST fries. I'm kicking myself for not trying this place out sooner. Finally came in today with my super picky eater teenager. My son prides himself in being a burger expert so I had to bring him. First thing I noticed as we walked in is how clean...like MEGA clean the restaurant is. I would eat off their floors for sure! Their staff are very friendly and I got the opportunity to meet the owner. He had a passion for his business which made me want to support this amazing restaurant even more. Burgers are bigger than any fast food restaurant and bigger than Red Robin burgers. The taste was beyond what I expected. Flavors were all on point. They have a ton of great food options not just burgers. My son picky son gave this place a 1,000/10. I have never ever heard him give a rating that high. He normally finds something to complain about. Not this time! I will definitely be telling everyone I know about this place. Let's support local business. You will love this place. Everything about it was perfection. Ohhh and I almost forgot to mention they have a drive thru. You don't even have to get out of your car. I have been going to your establishment for 25 years. One of my favorite things to get are the mushrooms. Today I ordered two large Mushrooms and a large order of jalapeño poppers. As I pull up to the drive thru window, I was handed my order. I asked for dipping sauce which she stated was in the bag. In my past visit , I was always asked what sauces I wanted and they were not chosen for me. I also know that a small order of mushrooms gets one dipping sauce and a large order gets 2 , any additional has a charge. The lady at the window gave me two fry sauce and a marinara. I told her I will not be using marinara with my jalapeño popper and preferred ranch. She asked for the sauce back so I can get ranch. I asked her if I can get extra fry sauce which she stated I was only allowed one per each item ordered. When I ask her when this policy change, she told me for a long time now. I am ok with changes to an establishment . I am also ok with paying for dipping sauce. What I am not ok with is a lady with no customer service skills tossing any bag of sauce in the bag assuming she knows what sauce I wanted. Then when I asked for the ranch, took the marinara back that was in my hand ...during a pandemic . I would not want that marinara handed to someone else. Which makes me wonder if a sauce she gave to me went out and was returned. It is also not ok that my husband came 2 weeks ago and ordered the same order and got 6 dipping sauce. I also think it defeats the purpose to wear gloves when her fingernails are all sticking out of the gloves she was wearing. I went there ordered a large clam basket got home realized I paid $22 for a large pawn basket. The shrimp was not devein. Didn't realize til I got home. I have been coming to this place for years - when it was Herfy's. Recently they changed hands and names and it has been completely downhill. Today I stop to give them another try and they get my order wrong at the drive through. Of course the doors are locked so you can't get inside so I have to back to the drive though. I get up there and say, "yeah, my order is wrong." The gal with the really king fingernails - which cannot be sanitary in a foodservice setting - gets an attitude right away. I tell her what the order was supposed to be and she rolls her eyes and says, "fine, well remake it for you." So now I'm sitting there while they redo my food. I pull forward so that they can continue to help the cars behind me. A few minutes goes by and the girl with the bad attitude and unhygienic finger nails come out and tells me that I owe 77 cents. I'm like what? She repeats that I owe an additional 77 cents, to which I reply, "seriously? You are the one who got my order wrong and now I have to waste my time sitting here while you redo it and you have the gall to come out and ask for 77 cents? Wow." So I hand the gal 80 cents she leaves. Several more minutes pass and she comes back out with my order, but no change. Now I realize that I'm talking about 3 cents but at this point it's the principal of the thing so I call and say "Hi, I'm sitting out here waiting for my change. Is someone going to bring it? " Dead silence on the other end of the phone. The person says, "what change?" to which I reply, "my 3 cents." read more

There is also a self service bar for sauces and straw etc. We were helped promptly by a friendly staff member we ordered two combo baskets at $13.99 one a classic cow-single patty with lettuce and pickles served with fries (crinkle) and a drink. The other a big cheese-single burger with cheese lettuce, tomato and pickles served with onion rings extra 99c and a milkshake extra $3.59 small. The food came out super fast! Nothing was hot like it just came out the fryer. But warm. The burgers were extremely dry no condiments were on either burger. Unknown to us you must ask at ordering they don't ask you! So we put fry sauce on our burgers. It didn't really help the dryness. I think it would of been a good burger if it was freshly made to order. Onion rings have a very crunchy texture. I think they may have been refried. The fries were good but lots of small over fried ones. The shakes are made with syrups and served with huge bubble tea straws. I should have wrote a review a while back. It would have been 4 stars. My dad and I have been going there since before they changed the name. There fish and chips are really good. I only had one issue, and that is that they seem to be unwilling to give you the tartar sauce you order. I don't mind paying extra. I have been there more than 15 times and they have never given me the sauce I have requested. It's not unreasonable for 2 small tartar for an order of fish. It could be a social experiment on the madning effects of not enough sauce per fish, or tartar sauce will be the next currency if the dollar crashes, or i watch too many movies. We'll see. However, I gave it 3 stars because recently the the size of the fish went down, while the price went up. If you need to raise the price by over $2, that sucks, but okay, don't flatten the fish down to barely more than the thickness of a leather belt! You got a couple more dollars out of each of us, but we're not sure about returning. At least not soon, or as often. read more

I found this place just driving past and it is now my favorite spot. Before I get into the food I just wanna say the staff are amazing. Even when it's slow, they continue to work they're always cleaning something. It has to be by far the cleanest restaurant I've been to. The food I have to say is very fresh. Everything was piping hot and delicious. The first time I visited the establishment I tried the fish and chips. It was a giant portion, but was so good. You get a bunch of fries with it. They even have a special sauce to dip with. my second visit I tried to mushroom Swiss burger. It was thick it was juicy. The bun wasn't soggy probably one of the best burgers I've had in my 13 years I can't wait for my next visit. I think this time I'm gonna go for a shake my buddy said it was delicious, thank you to your staff for a continuous great experience.
