This location is adjacent to Gate B22 in the American Airlines' gate area of Phoenix SkyHarbor Airport. We were waiting to board our flight at Gate 22 and overhead the waiter telling some patrons about the chorizo breakfast enchiladas. That piqued our interest. We left the gate, were promptly seated and we ordered the enchiladas to split. The servers were friendly, attentive and the food was delivered quickly. Our one mistake was sharing the two enchiladas-- the enchiladas are plate licking delicious. Great chorizo, superior enchilada sauce and house made corn tortillas made this one of my favorite meals of the weekend! read more

We had a long flight from the east coast and a long layover at the airport. Time for a comfortable and filling meal. The quesadilla del dia and truffles macaroni and cheese were straightforward, filling and tasted good. A cold bottle of beer helped as well. The waiter was very tuned in and efficient. I ordered the Exotic Mushroom Pan Fry and was hugely disappointed. Some of the mushrooms were so chewy it seemed like they are a month old. The sauce was delicious but the polenta at the bottom of the dish was bland and introduced a weird flavor that didn't fit with the overall dish. It felt like crustini or some other type of crunch would have complemented the dish better. Also the freshly chopped tomatoes and the avocado slices - they don't quite mix up with the flavor of the mushrooms. Weird. Overall - C for effort. read more

I can't imagine why all the positive reviews. The dining area was filthy with trash on the floor, tables and chairs. The floor near the kitchen had a layer of grease. The server really had no clue. The glass of wine was overpriced and served almost hot. The water tasted like dirty dishwater. The quesadilla was greasy and had very little meat. Had it not been the only place open in the terminal for a sit down meal I would have left, but given my long flight delays I was kind of stuck. Had an hour layover in Phoenix and decided to give this place a shot. Not only was the food/drinks phenomenal, but the service (Ty was my bartender) was even better. Breakfast customer. Not busy - one other customer at the start, almost a dozen when we left. First moments: I asked for a Gluten-Free menu due to my wife's allergy (Celiac), the host/waiter literally laughed and said "no". We then went through the menu and the waiter was "kind" enough to explain how some things are prepared. We were able to figure out how to accommodate my wife. Another member of my party is lactose intolerant...asking for non-dairy creamer and again, another response of "no, only milk or half/half". The food arrived and it was reported that one of our party's meal was "forgot"...and "...they were starting it right now." I was 3/4 done with my food when his came out of the kitchen. The server eventually became attentive and respectful towards the end of the experience. He then offered to let us hang out in our seats to be more comfortable than in the airport loun The food we did order was good by all members of our party (5). Had the duet bruschetta plate, the chicken tortilla soup and the burger. Tried two different wines, a chronic zin and an Argentina Malbec. Both were good with my burger. Absolutely atrocious service. I tried to get someone to cash me out and thy said only my server could do it. No one could find my server. I asked if a manager could do it, no he was on break. 15 minutes had passed at this point and I really needed to catch a flight. I asked if any other server could do it and but they said no. Eventually the server comes back and says sorry she didn't know we were in a hurry. Here's the good and the bad. The host at this restaurant was either in a bad mood or hates his job. No smile no welcome feeling. Ordered the $20 hamburger. Husband can't eat the potato chips that comes with it so asked if he could sub a side salad.l with blue cheese dressing. No problem said our server. Burger was yummy. Side salad was nothing more than spring lettuce. Got the bill and we're charged an extra 3.00 for the lettuce and 1.00 for the watery blue cheese dressing. Really?
