I love this place - this review is overdue. It's located behind the church - keep driving to the back parking lot and you will see a big grassy/turf area with tables outside. This place is super dog friendly and has good WiFi - a good spot to get some work done. The employees are always super friendly. I love their matcha, it's my go to. However, I tried their charcoal latte today and was blown away. Tastes like an Oreo latte perfection.

I really wanted to try Cowboy Coffee for a while now and was really excited to go today. Unfortunately, it was not worth the drive out. Two stars because this is a very cute location and I think it makes for a cute outdoor cafe/picnic space. The staff was also very nice. It is just very unfortunate that the two drinks we ordered (a matcha latte with blueberry cold foam and the butterscotch latte) were both not to my liking. The matcha was extremely grainy and had a very odd flavor. I don't recommend if you enjoy a strong matcha with smooth flavor and texture. The latte on the other hand was just way too milky for my liking. I can see someone liking it if they like super milky and mellow coffees and if that's you, I recommend that one.

I've only been once and it was a super hot day, so I couldn't enjoy the outdoor space with my kids. I was hoping to try their pastries; unfortunately, the sign said no pastries. Hopefully I can return again and relax with the kids! I liked my drink and I appreciate how they can adjust the sweetness. They did 1/3 the regular sugar and it was just right. One suggestion is to offer reduced fat milk. Otherwise, great spot!

Super happy cowboy coffee opened back up again! I discovered this place through social media because they went viral for their blueberry cold foam, and I will say it's definitely worth the hype! The blueberry is not artificial, and its very light , not super sweet flavor that pairs deliciously with their matcha or lattes. I would recommend adding vanilla syrup to the latte and then adding any of their cold foams since the foam doesn't have much sweetness to it. They have a seasonal cream top which makes me want to come back to try every season! Given that it's an outdoor coffee cart, their drinks are high quality and always consistent. The baristas are super sweet and always helpful when I ask any questions or needed suggestions. There is plenty of outdoor seating, some that have umbrellas. Parking is super easy as there is plenty of spots.

The lady at the counter had an attitude and said it was blueberry, it's just not "colored." Newsflash, I'm not asking for food dye, I'm asking if the cream was made with blueberries. (Which would've def added color to the cream naturally, and clearly my drink didn't have it!) anyway, waste of time and money.

Cute outdoor coffee cart and love their blueberry cream. Got the vanilla latte while some friends got the regular latte and a matcha, all with the blueberry cream, and all huge fans. Overall great espresso flavor and love how complimentary and real the blueberry taste is to all the drinks. Area has super easy parking and lots of seating, but will get toasty on a hot day! Will be coming back because I saw that pistachio cream.... Great staff though and the owners are so sweet, support small businesses!

Truly a favorite spot of mine for coffee or matcha. I typically order the matcha latte with the seasonal cream top. It's currently strawberry! The staff is always friendly and speedy. They've added umbrellas to every seating area now, so you can easily sit out and enjoy your drinks on a hot day. In case it's not clear from the other photos, this is an exclusively outdoor space! Very family and pet friendly.

It's different. Very outdoorsy! It's outdoors on the back lawn of a church. Lots of parking, green grass, and tables. Great for those not too hot, not too windy days. I had an espresso with blueberry foam. The consistency is less creamy and much lighter than whipped cream. Tastes like a blueberry espresso. I love espresso con panna so this was a great change. One barista and one cashier, both very nice. I'll be back on a day that I want a change.

3.5 stars Located at a stand on some fake grass behind a building, plenty of parking and not sketchy. Iced Flat White with Blueberry Cold Foam ($5) 3.5/5 Most drinks here come with 2 shots of espresso and it tastes pretty strong but somehow still tasted watered down. The drinks even with the blueberry cold foam is almost not sweet at all at 100% sweetness- I usually ask for 25% sweetness and actually forgot this time. Guava Croissant ($6) 5/5 This was so good. It isn't too sweet, there was plenty of guava filling/jam and there might have been a little cream cheese in it but the pastry is flaky on top and chewy on the bottom which is exactly how I like flaky pastries. Staff (cashier/barista) 5/5 Super nice and accommodating. Flexible to adjust my drink to my liking.

Was in the area and stopped by for a matcha. I chose the matcha latte with a blueberry cream top and oat milk. It was really good, I forgot to ask for less sweet and surprisingly it wasn't overly sweet. Service was berry quick (I was the only one in line) and friendly. I wanted to try the maple cinnamon cream top but the girl working hadn't tried it yet so I couldn't get a rec from her. They have quite a few tables for hanging out and on a clear day there is lots of sun to warm you up. Pet friendly!!

Cowboy Coffee is in a mixed use space that houses a church on the weekends but has an open area for coffee making and hanging out. They have a number of tables and chairs for you to relax at. They only have one menu and it's on the front counter at the cashier so you have to either wait to make your decision at the front or go up and take a picture of the menu first. Butterscotch Latte - Since the pistachio foam was out of season, I went with the Butterscotch Latte. I like the coffee bean flavor and I liked the butterscotch too, but felt it could have just been a tad stronger on the butterscotch flavor. I like my creamed coffees a little bit sweeter so I had to ask them for a little more simple syrup on top since they don't have a sugar stand. We went on a Saturday morning and there was a five minute line and the drinks came out within five minutes after ordering. They had parking in back. Everything was easy peasy!

The sweetest owners and amazing coffee! We had no trouble finding the spot and it's such a cute space, Open, cute furniture, and large outdoor space. It's only their second day open so the menu was condensed, but this just mean we'll be back when the espresso machine is up! The cold foam is delicious - not overly sweet but still provides a good balance with the coffee. Check this place out if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. Awesome super friendly owner and staff, tons of free parking, good vibe, and best of all -- killer menu. We got a flash brew and espresso both were perfect and can't wait to try more of the menu. Already got recommended the iced matcha with housemade blueberry cold foam topping. Sunnyvale / South Bay in general has been needing a new wave of coffee shops and this one definitely brings that. No ego, frills, uptight techies, overpriced drinks, etc etc... just great coffee and tea in a welcoming outdoor space! It's somewhere I'd want to bring all my friends to. A new local hidden gem!! I stopped by Cowboy Coffee this morning and I was BLOWN AWAY! I got the vanilla latte with blueberry cold foam and it was perfectly balanced. The blueberry was sweet and creamy without being overpowering or heavy. The latte was also smooth and every sip was exactly what you'd want it to be. I loved the vibe of this outdoor set up and there were plenty of tables with cute beige umbrellas for shade! I could tell a lot of thought went into the set up and even the tables were high quality and aesthetic. I saw a lot of people posted up to hang out and get some work done! Service was really welcoming and warm! I was greeted with a beautiful smile and had a nice relaxing convo as my barista prepared my coffee. Our first time trying Cowboy Coffee and definitely not the last! The service was great! Super friendly and helpful! We didn't know what to get but I went with their limited Matcha Made in Heaven (matcha with this delicious rose foam on top) and my husband got the Masala Chai. They were both so good!!! I honestly love this place! There's not that many non-chain coffee shops in Sunnyvale and I was so happy to find this one. The staff is so so kind and the coffee is really good! I've tried a few drinks now, but I think the sweet treat and the butterscotch latte is my favorite. Special shout out to the cold foam too tho - I watch them make it fresh all the time and it's super yummy! It's outdoor seating and really lovely when the weather is perfect and you want an excuse to sit outside and get some fresh air. Super great spot to work for a few hours or sit with your dogs on the weekend! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Friendly service and cute setup in the back with turf where we saw a lot of people bring their dogs. Fun vibe with some seating options. Coffee was ok, nothing spectacular, but matcha with blueberry foam was better. Matcha could have been stronger because the blueberry taste takes over everything. Not sure it's worth standing in line for 15-20 minutes. read more

BEST COFFEE. Dog friendly, work friendly, the owners are super sweet! They have picnic blankets to sit on if you bring a group of friends for a picnic, super cute merch, and they have chargers for laptops, phones (both android, and Apple). The outdoor coffee space is so rare to find. It's amazing to get fresh air, and sit out while drinking some high quality craft coffee. Support your local coffee shop! read more

I've come on weekday mornings as well as weekend mornings. The staff is always incredibly friendly and offers suggestions if you're unsure what to get. Their butterscotch latte is delicious and perfectly balanced, and I also ordered a lemon lavender scone. The scone was sooo incredibly good- I still think about it and crave it BUT SUMMERS COMING UP- MUST RESIST! You don't taste too much of the lemon though, as the lavender kind of overpowers it, it is prominent and tastes amazing nonetheless. My only issue is that they really need to consider expanding :( a weekend at 10AM takes over 25 min just to place an order. Overall, worth coming back and trying more drinks! The day I came, the matcha was sold out so it was also a bummer- this is their main event and I still haven't gotten a chance to try. Overall it's worth the visit and will return. read more

the matcha is better than a majority of coffee shops in the area, i would say it is slightly earthy but more neutral tasting. the lavender cream top was just okay for me. i felt the flavor was a bit overpowering and slightly artificial which was unexpected as i am someone who LOVES floral flavors. i'm looking forward to trying the blueberry though. there is pretty minimal seating but the vibes are immaculate if you can snag a seat. the service was on the slower side in my opinion but everyone was very nice. read more

Loved the drink selections, we got an iced mocha and an iced matcha latte. The mocha was very good. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I love the outdoor seating area. If you bring a mat or blanket, you can have guaranteed seating, if tables are all take. And it was a perfect spot for my dogs. Additionally, the bathrooms were clean and plenty of stalls, so no waiting. read more

“Cowboy Coffee” started as a distant idea and came to life within literal weeks. Sunnyvale has been desperate for a thriving 3rd wave coffee shop and we decided to take a leap. With equipment on the way, and the bar being built, the history of this business is just beginning. Thanks for being apart of it!

Meet the Business Owner: Caleb G.

Hello! Caleb and Breanna, owners of Cowboy. As a husband and wife duo, we’re both equally invested in every aspect of the business, and play off each others strengths. We’ve already had experience working together in multiple industries, such as ministry, videography, and the current thriving business, photography. Coffee has always been a passion for both of us and a field Caleb has worked in for many years. We’re so excited to start this new chapter of starting up Cowboy.

There is plenty of seating inside, and some outside. Outlets can be found it some tables. It's a good place to work with your laptop. It's mostly tables for 2. There's a larger communal table, and some counter seating. Parking can be difficult. There's a small area in the parking garage for "guest" parking. It's almost always full and you will depend on luck to find one spot there or arrive in time when someone is leaving their spot. There is no parking on most of the surrounding streets, except for the small section of the road that curves underneath Lawrence. And that part is often full of parked cars. It can be frustrating and this parking situation will easily drive away customers to find somewhere else with easier parking. If you're fortunate enough to get parking, you will find that Coffeebar offers a decent coffee menu, baked goods, and some food if you need more than a snack. The people working behind the counter have all been very friendly and helpful. Their Chocolate Croissant is HUGE!!! They'll ask if you want it warmed up. Definitely do this. It is delicious slightly warmed up. I have tried their Iced Chai Latte, which was just OK. It lacked the spice I was expected from a chai, and felt a bit too milky. I prefer their Iced Caramel Latte, which is much better than the Chai. Next time I will try their Mocha.

However, I have not seen it on the menu since March. Hopefully they'll bring it back. They now have order online via their website (chowbus), and I recently learned that they have an app. This makes ordering drinks at this location easy since it is located in corner strip mall with minimal parking.

I couldn't wait to write a review about this adorable spot I stumbled upon just a couple of months ago. It's a cozy, family-owned business that has quickly become a favorite. I decided to try the rum latte and guava croissant for the first time, and I absolutely loved them! The flavors were fantastic, and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The space is beautiful with a modern yet elegant aesthetic, with palettes of their Vietnamese and Filipino heritage as tasteful decor, all while capturing the Kasama brand perfectly. The floating lights are sick and a vibe Kasama's drinks are delicious and refreshingly unique that will keep me coming back to try them all. I got the Pandan Muối Latte with the cream foam and it was a game changer. I'm definitely coming back to try their other speciality drinks! Take my monies! Starting as a pop-up in 2018, Kasama Cà Phê opened their first brick and mortar last month. They're a café that celebrates Viet and Filipino coffee traditions. In-person ordering only. M E N U Limited soft opening menu: * Classics: Drip, latte, americano, cappuccino, etc. * Signature drinks: Pandan Muối Latte, Davao Mocha, Kalamansi Spritz, and Cà Phê Sữa Đá -- Fixed ice and sweetness. No adjustments or add-ons allowed for signature drinks. Decaf to come. No charge for oat milk. D R I N K S * Pandan Muối Latte w/ oat milk ($7.50) An iced latte with housemade pandan syrup, pandan salted cream, and toasted coconut - creamy, beautifully layered, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. Since they use real pandan leaves instead of artificial extract, it's not the usual bright green. Instead, you get pandan's natural, subtly sweet, vanilla-like flavor. Do not use a straw....the velvety salted cream adds a savory touch that balances the espresso and makes every sip taste like liquid crack. * Davao Mocha w/ oat milk ($7) Made with Viet catimor coffee and cocoa from Davao, Philippines, the iced mocha was rich, creamy, and not too sweet. A M B I A N C E Modern and minimalist with warm wood accents and iconic red plastic stools that give a subtle nod to Vietnam's café culture. There's a mix of standard tables, low tables, a communal table, and handful of stools outside. Restroom and Wi-Fi available. Overall, we loved the drinks we tried at Kasama Cà Phê and appreciate how they thoughtfully showcase SE AZN ingredients and flavors. For the past 10 months, I enjoyed their coffee and it was a great way to start my Sundays. During that time I tried more items from their menu, including limited specials and coffee beans. In addition to the Pandan Latte, I love their Melattea and Black Forest Mocha. These coffees have a fragrant tastes to it that makes it unique. I will miss seeing Hijau at the De Anza Farmers Market, but I look forward to their storefront and will definitely give it a visit when it opens!

The closest place that I have had Indonesian coffee is Kopiku in SF (but that is so far!) I ended up ordering a Klepon which is an espresso based latte with coconut milk, Pandan syrup made with palm sugar, coconut flakes! This had such distinctive flavoring that played homage to south East Asian flavors and was so comforting, especially when it was served hot. I love how balanced the pandan and palm sugar was. It wasn't too sweet at all! I am eager to try more flavors here. Service was fast and quick and only took max 10 minutes to get my drink even with a line. I heard they are opening a store front - you definitely have a unique selling point in the South Bay! Rooting for your success!

The drink was good, the more I mixed the crème brulee the better. I did wish the hojicha flavor to be on the stronger end so I might adjust the ice level next time!
