For one the food was absolutely to die for. It's not like anything in this area for sure! I loved the food, atmosphere, and good vibes. I will sure be back!

Service was prompt and friendly. All the staff were engaging and positive. The food is good. Serving size is big. I'll be skipping lunch. I love the location right in the heart of downtown. This place is truly worlds above the old Lone Star Cafe that was in this space. Similar in the cowboy/western decor only. I had the John Wayne(pork chili verde and eggs). I would recommend it. Lots of other tasty looking things in the menu so i'll certainly be back.

Food was good, we went on a Sunday at 12:30 so in the middle of the busy time. The server was very attentive but the kitchen struggled a bit. We will go back

We have been driving by this place seeing large crowds of people outside for sometime now, so this past weekend it was cold and rainy so we decided this would be a good chance to go without the crowds. Super cute place really love the decor and the staff are super friendly, but I'm afraid the food really wasn't that good. First off, everything kind of tasted like apple cider vinegar. It's like they washed the dishes in vinegar or something. The corn beef hash was really corn beef lunchmeat they chopped up with some mashed potatoes and other ingredients, it also tasted like apple cider vinegar. Someone at our table got biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were actually more like dumplings. They really weren't baked and they were like little blobs of dough about the size of small meatballs. The gravy was flat, and lacked flavor. I really wanted to like this place. The staff was so friendly and upbeat, the decor is so cute, and I also really liked the creativity in the menu making references to cowboy movies, but gosh, they really need to make a change in the kitchen.

My steak was 10/10, the mushrooms and asparagus were also really good. Really impressed with this meal and everything felt fresh. Also, not to mention, the service was great. I forgot my waiters name but he was great! It's definitely a place to check out if you're in town.

They come with pickled slaw, pico de gallo, cotija, smoked chile cilantro aioli, avocado crème served on either corn or flour tortilla. You get two full size tacos which is a nice amount of food. They are flavorful and really hit the spot. The goat cheese salad was my home run of the meal! It has an arugula base and is topped with goat cheese, chia seeds, glazed walnuts, sun dried strawberries, candy striped beets and mission fig balsamic dressing. There is just enough dressing to add to the flavor without being over powering. The salad in the picture is a small. Next time I will get the large, add a protein and make it my meal! My husband had the Farm fettuccine with chicken. During his first couple bites he was very impressed but thought it became bland as he dug deeper into the bowl. He still thought it was good and finished the bowl but had to add some pepper and salt. It is made with fresh fettuccine noodles, pancetta, wild mushrooms, AZ sun-dried tomatoes, aged pecorino, FARM alfredo sauce. There is a full bar and a speciality drink menu. We sat on the patio which is very small and is on the corner so there is a lot of traffic. We dont mind because we like to people watch. Parking is on the street so expect to search for a spot on the weekends. Service was great! Our waitress even brought a small table fan to shoo off a persistent fly. Definitely a place we would return to for a tasty meal and great service!

They split the small side Caesar salad for us! Said the larger portion might have been more than we needed, which I really appreciated!

The maple surf is what topped off for me the ambiance was pretty good kind of quiet in the place. No music or background noise just the small talk of others and kitchen noise. The Service wasn't too bad. The food came out quickly and hot.

I was the only customer in the restaurant. I was greeted and given a menu (there is a menu board but I couldn't read it because my sunglasses are polarized...:/. There are several varieties of chicken and waffles but I chose the classic chicken and maple. The restaurant itself is nice sized with tables and that's about it. There is a coke machine and ketchup packets as condiments and straws but no utensils, which are brought out with the food. Food arrived hot with two generous sized chicken tenders, really nicely spiced and breaded. Fried just perfectly where the chicken was nice and tender and juicy. The waffle has bubbles throughout it and honestly reminded me of less sweet funnel cake. The maple syrup was perfect compliment to the spices on the chicken. All in all really good and a nice portion (could have finished it all but I would've been in a food coma and I still had to drive back to the verde valley!) Definitely worth a first and second try!

Served with veggies that were over cooked. My husband and I shared the pear salad there wasn't much pear. Some one poured an abundance of walnuts on the salad. We came here today for Easter brunch. Yes I realize it's a holiday and that can make things busy…read more We are there frequently because we like to take people from out of town here because it's beautiful and the food is good. We were even here for Christmas Eve and they did a pretty good job of getting us in and fed in a timely manner. Not so today! Our reservation was at 12:30. They said the kitchen was backed up and we needed to wait. OK so we waited. At.1:15 we finally got seated. And that was in the overflow room, not the main dining room, which is fine. But apparently the person serving us not only was serving our room, but upstairs and outside as well. I had ordered a mimosa which is fine, but I asked for either prickly pear or cranberry juice. The waiter asked if orange juice was OK if they didn't have any other juice and I said yes. So I got orange juice which was fine until I thought about it. They have a Cosmo on a menu so of course they would've had cranberry juice. Within placed our order and he told us it would be about 20 minutes because the kitchen was still backed up. 20 minutes came and went. An hour later we still hadn't gotten our food. My brother and sister-in-law who had just moved to town we're done and ended up leaving before even getting our food. We finally got ours and it was good, but my son ended up having to leave early so he could let the dog out. She had been inside for over four hours and she's 15. They did end up taking off their orders. So that was good, but then the manager asked if we wanted to try their raspberry chocolate mousse. I said maybe to take home but that we needed to leave. So she brought out one. I knew there were three of us. And we had been waiting for over two hours for our food. Really? They couldn't have given us three? I almost said something, but I was just so done and so upset. Now I have to apologize to my in-laws! Would it have really killed them to give us three of those? Or a lemon cake along with it? Which I do dream of. It's fantastic! I don't remember our server's name, but it wasn't his fault. He tried to keep us informed on everything. It's basically the management, which needs a complete overhaul, they need more staff, or they need to train their staff better, or all of the above. I will not be going back there for holidays at all. And I probably won't be going back there for dinner or anything else in the near future. There are other restaurants in town.
