Fun fact you can't ask for a refund when service is down because the system automatically hangs up on you
    Daniel K.

The worst ISP ever. (And I have over 15 years of experience with them) Dog sat at my friends house with Centurylink fiber and had 500mbs down and up. Back at my house with Cox "fiber" and I'm back to 100 mbs down and 15mps up. Don't forget the frequent packet loss and 15-30 minute outages several times a day. I complained to the FCC in 2024 and they sent out a couple trucks to "fix" the nodes that were overwhelmed because of construction but we are still here in 2025 with appalling service. Customer service replies rotate from blaming you, blaming your equipment or turning off the support line when there's an outage. Only when I reached out to the FCC did something happen. Arizona corporate commission could care less about the Centurylink/Cox duopoly in Phoenix. Get Centurylink or Google fiber if you can. Cox will ruin your day.

Cox has the worst customer service. It's like they flat out do not care about service. If my husband was more tech savvy I would dump them!

Cox internet is the WORST provider. You're better off with two tin cans and a string.

Horrible Service. Long wait times. Do not know what they are doing. We have to train them to help us. No longer a client with them.

We pay for 2 gig but max we ever get is 400 meg. Seems quite criminal to be charged for service we don't get.

$300 a month for constant lockups. That's with no premium channels and not the tip tier internet.

We have had Century link Fiberoptic for 5 years great service, until the last couple of weeks after…read morethey were bought out by AT&T. in the past week our internet has been on and off, today when the internet went out again, there was no human I could call, all of their customer service in automated, I finally gave up. I am having COX come out tomorrow to install their internet.

about 1.5 months ago I got a text from centurylink saying there was an outage and they would let me…read moreknow when it was fixed. I was unaware that my phone line was down, and checked it. yup it's down. I logged in to my account and there was a notice saying that it would be fixed on a specific date. so I did not try to contact centurylink's worthless support. when the date in question came up I checked out phone and it was still out. just to make sure I checked all our phones, and even went out to the SNI and opened it, checking with my lineman's handset. not working. so I opened the century link side and checked it there. nope not working just static and buzzing. I logged in to their barely functional website again and it now had a notice that it would be working in another 4 days. When that date came up it was still not working. so I logged in to their waste of time website and ran through their "troubleshoot service" which supposedly tested my line and reported that it was working fine (it wasn't) if I called my landline from my cell phone I got a message that said there was a problem with the line. so now I'm starting to get irritated. I ran through a series of questions about my phones not working none of which had the option of no phones are working, and there is static and buzzing on the line. it just ran through a series of steps that always led to saying my phone was broken. my phone is not broken. now I tried to call and get a human. what a laugh. I just had to navigate a series of terrible "AI" questions and managed to get a repair ticket generated for a friday. with a time window of the ENTIRE DAY! now I'm mad. So I am fed up and went online to cancel my service of 32 years. there is a way to cancel by selecting a reason. NONE of the buttons that I clicked on for any reason did anything EXCEPT (paraphrased) "going overseas for the military". great but it makes me wait the rest of the billing month for the first available date. 3 days before my service is set to be shut off my wife reports that the phones are working. just like that. no notice or anything. well too bad. we are going through with the shut off. I'm tired of paying over $75 per months to receive scam, phishing, "survey's", and political robo dialer calls. The only reason I even kept the service was for 911 and emergencies if a storm knocked out cellular. if anyone ever reads this from centurylink or lumen. your website is barely functional garbage, your repair service is worthless, your service is spotty and barely usable. you seem to do everything you can to make it as difficult as possible to talk to anyone and get resolution for any issues. good riddance.
