At our last residence, we got a bundle (cable- DT & internet- CL) through Century Link, some time…read moreago, after ditching Cox for many, many years. It is better to deal with the company directly (ie. don't get that bundle!) so there isn't any "He Said/ She Said" stuff going on, which is the case whenever the bill wasn't right. It was never right for the first 15 mos. Hubby had to call every time. Even then, down the line, hubby had to make so many calls to set it straight. Anyway, on the service from Direct TV, the cable service was very good. We had few issues with the service overall. It was pretty reliable. There were few blackouts. We were able to DVR several shows (up to three), but I think that there was a limit. There was also a good amount of space for recording and keeping shows. Hence, my reasons, for the above star rating. We couldn't continue with it in our new place, I forget, for what reason. Anyway, it is better than what we have now (Century Link)--- it is very bad. Don't believe those commercials. It hasn't been a good experience with them. The cable and internet service with CL is not good. We might be going back to the original cable service after our current contract is done.

Can't set the games torecord the games unless they correct the time on the guide. Talking to "customer service" is like talking to a wall. If anyone else has directtv and is planning on recording the games, you better check your channel guides And a new update..directtv is now not carrying ABC here in Vegas at all, due to a contract dispute, so never mind recording the games, you won't even be able to watch..and all this the day after they send me an email saying they're raising my rates $15 a month..what a company.
