i've had Cox cable Internet and void telephone service for over three or four years now for many years before I switched to another provider and came back to them. North Las Vegas. They have a monopoly on fast though sometimes they're good as but they're the worst customer service of any business I've ever dealt with. One of my wireless boxes stopped working, so I called in to have a replacement done that's part of the deal you know you pay for your lease replace a new one for you so many years so I requested a new box they went ahead and they said they sent me two wireless boxes out since for so long to go ahead and send two boxes and then I just bring the old two boxes the one that works in the one that didn't work in return it both. So I had one box at work one box it didn't they sent me two new boxes to replace both my boxes. I one of the boxes that they sent me the new boxes to to activate so I one of the new boxes that they just sent me and the one box working. So I returned two boxes to the store North Las Vegas on the young lady there Jennifer only wanted to upgrade me to gigabyte either to my face or needs better training or needs to lose her job altogether so does the manager they assured me everything was handled this all interested in was upgrading me to a faster Internet for $255 including everything else and then I said OK I'll go ahead and do that. I agree and then when I went to a few said no I can't do that price. She changed it up by $12 or so $267 or so and that didn't include . I said you're joking right she said no I said she lied straight to my face. things off they're claiming one box in trying to charge me and they're charging me more on my bill. They're saying I did not trade in or bring keep lying on the keep hanging up to me on the phone. No one knows what they're doing. They just me more money for no reason I speak to the vice president who overruns the whole Vegas market is an outrage. I don't get paid hourly to deal with this. I've wasted over 1000 hours dealing with this. They hang up on me. They lied to me. They say anything and my bill keeps going up and up. I don't understand why I returned two boxes and two remotes they're claiming I didn't well let's look at the video footage. It's an outrage. It's a monopoly. They're blatantly lying to me anytime I say I'm gonna record the phone call to hang up, but they tell me they're gonna record the phone call when I ask him. OK let's pull they can't find the they'll scam used to be OK but now they're straight up liars and scammers before you do anything make sure you see contracts and and delivered by gone up ever since I returned two boxes for no reason. read more

save your money, you're better off using a personal hotspot. the service is absolutely horrible, you're luck to make it thru a full day without being kicked offline. most days my tv can't even connect because the service is so slow or it works at all. no one to help and calling customer service will only frustrate you further. don't say you weren't warned if you dare give them even a single penny, they will take every dime. read more

Cox goes down, AGAIN!! Was watching the WNBA All Star game and boom, out goes Cox. The night before, about to watch a Netflix movie, and BOOM, Cox goes out, AGAIN. This has been happening before the net outage. It's frustrating for this to happen so often for hours at a time. Please. We pay you a lot of money for a flawed product. For the 5th time in 8 days my service goes down. I work from home and I lost over 400.00 income for all the time lost. I called today I reach a customer service rep named John, he was lacking any phone skills and I get blindly transferred to another rep Rachelle, I asked for a manager and I get hung up on. At this point my bill is comped for next month's bill in which doesn't cover my lost income. I wrote a bad review on Google and now here. Look elsewhere for internet service. They don't respect customer by not giving any notice for the downtime. I'm going next to the local media today to provide a news report as I also work in media. read more

Worst company ever! Sending unprofessional people to your home to bully you for their boxes then to not even turn them in, and guess who they expected to pay for "the lost equipment" the customer that has been with them for 3years. Then when you ask them to work with you and get a response of, " I can't help you!" after being late for the first time in 3 years. I refuse to get their service ever again and would never recommend them to anyone. Also to top it off our internet is always down or not running at full speed! Why am I even paying over $100 per month and I can only use my internet 5% of the time! Not worth the time or money. Horrible customer service and just horrible service in general. We recently purchased a home in North Las Vegas. The sales lady on the phone was super nice. We had cameras installed and cable. The men who came and installed our cameras were nice but reckless. While they were drilling a hole in the house we recently purchased to install one of the cameras they drilled a hole through our water line. They immediately had some makeshift supposed contractor stop by to fix it. He came in and started ripping apart my wall on the outside to realize a support beam was there. So he came in the house to rip apart the other side of the wall. He promise to be there the next day to complete the project. (This happened on a Monday) it ended up being a Friday before it was started and finished on a Saturday. The horrible thing was on that Friday. Miguel Gonzalez advise me to sign this paper so he could get paid. I felt like I didn't want to sign it until I knew there was no further complications. Because it releases cox from any further responsibility and saying that this was fixed no warranty or guarantee. My first instinct was I did not want to sign it. But Miguel was really nice and said he would take care of me. I asked Miguel for an invoice or receipt for this service and he said that was it. So I ended up signing it because I didn't want to be A jerk and not sign it and he wouldn't get paid.There was a small leak that wasn't noticed. And gradually became noticeable. It was over a months time this happened. There was no paperwork on this but luckily I kept his phone number. I called Miguel he said that this was over 30 days and he is not required not to fix it. But then he said he would because he has integrity it's on him and he would fix it. Then he open the wall up and said it wasnt his fault it wasn't fixed right he said it was fixed right the first time. That the problem now was the jagged metal in the wall (that he cut in the first place) was the reason the line broke open it was leaking again. They previous cut part of the metal piece out of the way to fix the broken water line but left the metal piece jagged. So out of the good of his heart he fixed the leak and said he will give it a few days to dry and he will contact me to to finish the dry wall. He never called. But it was okay I was worried it would leak again.So when I finally called him he said he thought it was already. I said no. And said You told me to give it time to dry. Then he says he has to charge me. Gives me $200 price and says we can use credit card but then turns around and tells us he needs cash. Then he tells us he has to charge us $250 on top of it. So if Cox screws up your house I would not sign that form until it has at least exceeded 60 days without further damage. On top of that we are stuck in a 2 year contract and would end so quickly. We ended up having to pay for something that should if never happened in the first place. If you need cox to come over an drill holes in your wall for any reason. I would hire an inspector or contractor to be present to assist cox in drilling any holes in your wall. I have had cable all our lives and cameras. But never had we ever had to deal with this ordeal. So think twice before installing and protect your selves. By the way the first time this happened the manger said he would reduce our installment bill it never happened. Can you imagine the grief of buying your dream home and a few weeks later dealing with this nightmare? Its stressful enough buying selling a home relocating to a new state and having to worry about unboxing getting kids in school then this. What even is scarier is that they were inches away from the gas line. So be very cautious and do your research do not rely on cox cable guys to know where they are drilling Do your research. Dont trust them and dont trust the crappy supposed contractors who clean up their messes and dont sign that paper until you know it was corrected and fixed right. At First Miguel seemed nice and friendly. However when I expected him to come through and fulfill his promise he became agitated and rude at the end and charged us more. moved to las vegas in oct, called cox to get service installed. I was told that they would run cable down the wall to where I would put TV. Installer came out and determined that they could not run the cable it was beyond their capability and I would need an electrician to do the work, no offer to help offset the additional cost. I called an electrician out and he spent most of the day finding a live cable to split the feed to new location, cox would not help to locate an active cable, even asked them to run an active cable to the location to where I was to put TV, they just don't do that. took 3 weeks to finally get the cable run while I paid the cox bill. Make sure that they can do what they say before you sign up. 2 weeks trying to get cox to help with locating an active cable. read more
