The downtime is unacceptable called them eight times last week for outages they assured us they were upgrading their system told them we had a very important meeting on zoom on Monday and would go to another location for more reliable Internet services if they had any question about the reliability of the Internet service on Monday. Today is Monday in the middle of a zoom call the Internet went down. That was two hours ago still have not heard back from them. In Vegas, there's really not too many choices. I've tried these or have experience with them in the past. Cox - Don't get me started with them, you know how they are. I'm a bit of anti-Cox but for years there's really no other solid choice.. till WeLink came into the picture. CenturyLink - I couldn't even get their installer to show up. Gave up after 3 attempts. LV.net - this one is expensive but it's not Cox, speed is not good if you don't have a good line of sight. Verizon / Tmobile 5G home internet - Wanted this to work out but sadly it really depends on your area. And here I am with WeLink, here's the good, the bad and the ugly. [The Good] Monthly fee - The price is fixed so no need to worry about increase after a year, etc. And if they select your location for the main hub, then the price is crazy cheap. The gear - It comes with a free eero Pro 6 gateway, it's perfect if you already using eero. If not, you'll love it! The speed - 668 Mbps Down and 773 Mbps Up, need I say more? [The Bad] Maintenance - doesn't happen often but when it does you're out of luck. Usually it's 2 days maintenance between 3am-6am and they do send out a text notification so you're not completely in the dark. I counted 4 maintenance in the past 7 months so it's not horrible. Steam - For the longest time I've had issue downloading games off Steam, every time I've tried I lost the Internet completely and needed to reboot the gateway. It's working now but that was a strange issue and I still don't know the root cause. Installation - This can take hours and you need to be at home for this, especially if they're installing a hub. [The Ugly] Customer support - or lack of, good luck getting someone to reply via email. Tried to call in the past and it's the same experience. It was for a billing issue so I ended up reaching out someone that works there to assist. So make sure you grab contacts when you can. Wrap-up: Overall I'm loving WeLink a lot more than Cox. 4-26-25 Update Requested service, once again because there was way too much lag, even tho the internet never disconnected there was just no data transfer and lag was up 100ms. I'm seriously thinking going back to Cox even tho i don't really want to but depending how things go I will decide. Welink did manage to fix the issue on their end same day after half day, as I couldn't fix it on my end because everything checked out good, sometimes you just need to power cycle your POE, router, switch or PC. In this case it was beyond the radio on their network, I been pretty patient with their service and I'm glad their able to fix it but I never had so much service interruptions on COX as i have had with Welink, and believe me even the breezy windy day will affect the wireless radio antenna to a certain extent. A buddy of mine turned me on to WeLink, I was very excited to switch internet providers and get rid of Cox. From day one the quality of the internet speeds were never there. 2K service (I know my stuff wouldn't handle it, but sounded cool) and I never seen better than 100mbs (cox was 6-800mbs at those same times) down and hard wired however I would see 3-400mbs up on WiFi. Streaming apps wouldn't load computers wouldn't load etc. I called their tech support line at-least 15-20 times over a 4 month period, swapped radios etc. service techs told me I needed a second router....had to explain why I didn't... smh. Every time I called to remediate the slow internet problems employees were nice and they would tell me I'd get a call back with update and no one would ever call and service would never improve. Don't waste your time with this company. Concept is great and even better to think I can save over $100 and get faster speeds cause that's how it was sold. Needless to say, I'm glad I didn't cancel cox during my 4 month trial period!! read more

DO NOT USE WELINK, THEY WILL NOT DO WHAT THEY PROMISE! In September of 2025 this company came to my neighborhood door to door offering a 30-day trial on their supposed faster internet service. They stated they would have to install some equipment on my roof and run it into the house. They assured me that in the case that I didn't wish to continue with them after the 30-day. trial, they would remove their equipment from my roof. I agreed to try it for a month but the service was in fact slower than my previous provider. Right before the 30 days expired, I reached out to them letting them know I wouldn't be continuing after the 30-day trial and I needed them to remove their equipment from my roof. They ensured me they would send someone out soon to remove it, but could not give me an exact day and time. This was in October of 2025. I have since called and gotten the run around regarding the equipment removal. Today on March 9th 2026, 5 months after their initial agreement to come and remove their equipment, they informed me that they are not doing equipment removal at this time and that I would have to keep it or remove it myself. I don't think this is right, I should not have to risk injury going on top of my roof or pay to have someone remove their equipment. read more

I'm giving it 4 stars because- Yes, occasionally service does go down (a few times a month for a couple hours late night, or when weather is bad). Our household is 5, two teens. Their advertising lists higher speeds throughout the whole house, but when you mention the fact you don't get those speeds, they tell you it has to be hard wired. No home that I know of has hard wiring thought the whole house. I signed up for a $50 plan and have been being charged $85. We had Cox for years. To be honest their service was always lacking and support was slow. We changed to Welink because they promised twice the speed for about $45 less. On paper it was a great deal. From day one the speed we received was less than 1 gb (about 600 mb). The promised speed is 2 gb. After a few weeks they upgraded our neighborhood's system brought it to around a gb. Sometimes a little more sometimes a little less. We reached out and they said they would get the speed up to where it supposed to be. They also promised to reduce the bill for the time period that the speed was too low. NEVER happened. I hesitated to go back to Cox because WeLink was still cheaper for about the same speed. Today my 2gb service is running at 575 mb using the SPEEDTEST (they recommend this app) with a computer connected directly to the router. One thing that I find especially interesting is the readings from their customer service show a higher number. It must be internet magic! Quality: Not even close to what they promised. Piss poor speed and we've had more outages with WeLink this year than we had with Cox over all of the years we had service. Value: If I were getting half of what they promised it might be worth it. We're not able to use them because we need a specific setup for our home business & our IT guy hasn't been able to get the info needed to make it happen. Called tech support one day and they were supposed to call him back in 30 minutes. 1 hour later, no call, so he left to return another time after hearing from them. They NEVER called him back. Sometimes I'll get home and find that I dont have internet connection so i had to reboot by modem and Every now and then I'll get "your area has an outage" email . their tech had been called at my house for atleast 3 times and now I'm waiting for a 4 visit because we had an area outage again but this time my internet connection will not work since yesterday and i have to wait 4 more days before their technician can take a look what's going on with my connection. If you work at home and needed a reliable connection then stay away from this company. You may pay little more money somewhere else but I'll save you some headache and frustration. I have a large family with seven kids, and this Internet could not remotely keep up with the usage at my house. the speeds were very inconsistent. One minute I was getting 2Mbps five mins later 80mbps, never got close to 700 unless I was home alone. Luckily I hadn't disconnected my old service yet so I ended up having to cancel and switch back to my old service. Much like many other consumers, I was solicited by We Link and was elated that I would be able to choose a cheaper option than my current one. I asked all the hard questions because I truly rely 100% on my internet service for work. The gentleman who "sold" the service to me was actually pretty good. Then comes the day of installation ...The tech showed up late (not even upset at that things happen and maybe his previous job took longer than expected) but once he arrived and "completed" his job .. it went all down hill and has ruined my interest in this company. Not only did he leave without ensuring it was properly working - he never closed the ticket indicating he had completed my install which made talking to what We Link calls "customer service" - a nightmare and I spent 13 minutes of my life talking to someone who had no clue how to help me before I was transfered to what I thought was tech support (very much so sketchy as they seemed uncertain of how to respond / address my issues) That was another 46 minutes of my life that I will never get back! The rep had no idea how to fix my issues and kept putting me on hold to ask the "networking team" what to say. Ultimately she offered me an additional free month of service. Problem is ... it has never worked. The router flipped from blinking white to red before tech was out of my cul de sac and when I called and expressed concerns and advised that I couldn't connect to the network, they told me he was off the clock already but that someone would be back out today to resolve the issue(s) ... 9 hours later and not only do I not have internet thru We Link, but no one showed up, nor did I get a return call to reschedule or any other possible trouble shooting issues. I guess a dodged a mess with them, I much rather pay the astronomical prices that COX charges than to ever engage in business with a company who failed to ensure proper functionality of their goods / services prior to leaving my residence. Not sure if the speeds they tell you that comes with it is accurate because I haven't been able to connect to it. At this point I just want them to come get their equipment and never ring my bell again. My wife told me to call we link and to sign up with Internet, which they were supposed to give it to us for $30 a month. The technician came installed lied to me that I can disconnect my routers and connected into their routers and I would not have no downtime so I called technical support to ask them how I can make this work and they said no it will not work because you would have to reset all your routers all your cameras all your switches everything in your house in order for it to work. I told them to go ahead and to cancel service because How they misrepresented themselves and their company this guy Tim the first time I talk to him four days ago, which I guess he's the rep for our area. He said he was going to call me back by 3 o'clock in the afternoon four days ago four days later I call him three times. I text him twice and this person does not answer my calls nor even answer my text messages, even though he said he was going to take care of everything And I was supposed to save myself $150 a month just in Internet all this headache and grief that these people put me through and lied to me and misrepresented their company. She left me with such a bad view of this company I can't believe I'm back here. If your sales rep starts out with texts to follow up on an online inquiry but can't answer you back on a basic question - that's a red flag. Just because you start a sales text and then send an aggressive agreement to a potential customer's email doesn't mean it's a done deal and the conversation is over. The website says, if you have any questions reach out to your local WeLink Pro. I did, and a very very basic one. Since I couldn't get a response I called the number and guess who I got on the phone? Lillie. I introduced myself and asked her why she didn't answer, her repeated response was "Our cell service is experiencing issues." Oh really? Didn't seem so before you emailed me an agreement that you assumed I was just going to sign with no further effort on your part. Ironic, you work for a communications company in sales, aren't you supposed to have reliable communication? Maybe you should get that figured out. It seems she's the only rep for this location? Please tell me that's not true. Lillie doesn't do a thing to deserve a commission. The fact that I had to follow up with HER because she didn't have the decency to respond, even after a very fluid initial exchange does not sit well at all. I took a snapshot of the texts to show my friends who have worked in sales for years. They were unimpressed to say the least. I plan to drop WeLink because, with our security system relying on WiFi for features and needing to work from home at times, this is ridiculous. I cancelled my Cox service for the intermittent time, and instead of starting back with Cox, WeLink said they could provide the service for half the price. Of course I was thrilled at first; however, I have been waiting for the "equipment" for over 3 months now. I understand there's a supply chain issue, and when I as the customer have to call every week to get an update, and then when I arrive on the promised week of install, I'm told I'm not even on their list, it's quite frustrating.
