Good place. My mother enjoys the drinks. And my friend is a huge fan of both the breakfast burrito and sausage and biscuits. Sandwich was good and the desserts looked awesome. Went to a music night, that was pleasant. There are also cute handmade cups and pots for sale. Love this place -- we stopped here on the way in and the way out of Canon City. Great outdoor setting with lots of charming tables both under the patio and out; outdoor restrooms and indoor. We stopped here on the way back to Denver from the Royal Gorge. I was looking for a unique place with good food and I found it here! I ordered the vegetarian panini which was one of the bet I've had. It came with coleslaw, chips, and a pickle. My husband ordered the coyote brat (a brat wrapped in a tortilla with peppers) which came with beans, potato salad and a pickle. The food was delicious! We sat in the outdoor seating area on a picnic table. I wish we had one of these near Denver - I'd come back in a heartbeat! read more

have had a coffee or two here thru the drive thru as well as there breakfast burritos. I had the one with the green chili sauce. If you like things spicy then you definitely have to try it. My friend and I came across Coyote's Coffee Den on our way to Canyon City for a half day of rafting. We stopped for breakfast and immediately fell in love with the local and friendly atmosphere. We both had a breakfast burrito and iced coffee while sitting outside in the back. The service was amazing despite it being so busy and pretty fast too! What a delightful find! The shop had a fun, laid back hippie vibe, the staff was very friendly, and the food was amazing! The Italian veggie panini blew my mind- best sandwich I have had in a long while. We also tried the pulled pork sandwich and the BLT, both with great reviews. We also highly recommend the potato salad-we all know potato salad is a highly subjective side dish, but it was fantastic. We're looking forward to sneaking by in the morning to try the gorgeous pecan rolls they had in their case. read more

Always a great place to eat and relax, Coyote's is my #1 spot to go for Saturday morning breakfast. Try the biscuits and gravy. Or a croissant sandwich. Lunch is good too. They offer custom drinks but I normally go with a plain espresso. It's a good place. If there is one suggestion, I wish they would add another register, enable online ordering or have some way for a faster line at checkout; it can get crowded and slow on the weekends. read more

After my terrible experience with "Sacred Grounds" (my review is available here), and still wanting to eat A GOOD APPLE PIE, we went to Coyote's Coffee Den on our Saturday road trip: WOW, AMAZING apple pie, homemade with REAL apples, really good. Besides, the prices are reasonable (my delicious apple pie costed less than $4 and it was NOT a tiny portion!), the coffee is incredible, the staff is really kind. Try the croissants, too! I love this place! I wish they had a franchise in Colorado Springs!!! read more

Adorable place, AMAZING food, & phenomenal service. If you're looking for a quaint local place with excellent home made food, this is it. The patio seating faces the mountains. The owner and staff make you feel like you're at their home. Highly recommend the quiche, we had the sausage, green chile, & cheddar.... it was one of the best I've ever had... flavorful creamy with a flakey soft buttery crust. Stopped in on our way to Philmont with our Boyscout troop. Best breakfast we had all trip!! Very reasonably priced and everything is baked there. The troop couldn't stop talking about the breakfast burrito. The coffee was good and my cappuccino was better than Starbucks. Picked up a fresh baked pumpkin bread and ate it on the road. read more

Also had cocoa - scored a 4, could have done a lot better for $3.00+ with a Swiss Miss packet. The coffee seems to be on point. read more

Coffee was good. Pastries look good. It was a mistake to order a sandwich. The veggie pesto panini had one olive on it and one sliver red pepper. It was terrible. I could only pick the few veggies out of the pesto cheese slime and leave it at that. YMMV. read more

We love the Coyote's Den. We go there several times a month (sometimes a few times a week). The coffee is great and a perfect pick me up on the way to Colorado Springs. The biscuits and gravy are wonderful - the gravy is perfectly seasoned and the biscuits have a bit of crunch on the outside, tenderness on the inside. The burritos are great, too, especially smothered in green chile. My latest favorite is the California BLT on a croissant. It's absolutely delicious and I sometimes make the trek out there just for that. The service is efficient and extremely friendly. We've always had great service and food - every time - we're never disappointed. Oh, the bloody Mary's are great, too. read more
