Every other time that i have gone over i have nothing bad to say. But I went with a couple friends and the service was HORRIBLE! They destroyed my order even after i waited for the waitress to finish writing everything down. I politely stated that, "this is not what i ordered." The girl looked at me like I was Crazy! So i said it in Spanish, but she gave me a hand gesture then proceeded to walk away from me with not even a SORRY! Not to mention I didn't get my drink until AFTER i finished eating the meal I DID NOT ORDER. Nor did we get napkins, or a refill on chips. Like WTF!?! Then we attempted to pay separately but APPARENTLY they CANNOT do that. I wish I could rate this place -3 stars. I came in with a party of 5. 4 of the 5 orders came back wrong even after we had the waitress repeat the order back to us. The waitress was very unapologetic & apathetic. Even when orders were sent back they came back still wrong! The manager apologized & explained she had been working there for 2 days but still does not excuse how unwelcoming this woman was. okay, ya know what? this place is AWESOME! It's 24/7, and it's really good eats. It's the ONLY place in Pilsen with ouch Tunes. that's right folks ouch Tunes. Also this Mexican music video channel is playing usually every time I ever go there. I don't know the name of the channel, but they crank out the hits just as well as Coyotes cranks out the food. take that for what you will. Also, this is the only place my girlfriend ever remembers to want to go to by name. She says they load the veggie tacos up with avocados. My second time at this restaurant and it never fails to disappoint! They have a huge menu with so many options. The carne asada is amazing quality, I love that it's chunkier pieces of steak in the tacos instead of very small pieces. The service is extremely quick here. read more

I love this place because is local, cheap, the food is great and they open until late. This place is excellent if you are starving after having some drinks in the neighborhood. The service is warm and the food is amazing. Sometimes they have a mariachi signer that would stop at your table to sing a lovely Spanish song. read more

Good spot for tacos. I know, duh... But it was. I don't eat meat so I ordered the fish tacos- that were made fresh, like burned my hands fresh. Totally worth it. I ordered them with everything on it. The cilantro, tomatoes and onions were on point and the fish was moist (don't you love that word) and full of flavor. I'm all about customer service, and it was a terrible today. I've been here a few times, each time 'giving an extra chance'... and I'm done with this place. I prefer to be treated respectfully with not so great food, than vice versa. Comales down on 18th and Ashland has better tacos and service. The waitress here saw there was several people waiting in line and did not ask 'who's next?'... right away she went to a couple at the END of the line... what was wrong with the brown people ahead of them? Nothing too special here. If it is not a fancy Mexican restaurant it is basically a fast food version of Mexican food. The place looks like it could use a remodeling and they allowed musicians to enter and play for tips while other patrons just come to eat. the meat did not have a great taste and the chips were very bland. read more

I used to frequent Coyotes very often, good food, open late night. But as of recently I've noticed my ring up cost be higher and higher. I finally asked for an itemized receipt and realized that the lady had been up charging me incorrectly for my order. I usually call it in. She charged me more money than what is listed on the grubhub pick up prices! I called just to try to clear up the discrepancy and said that she is charging me more because there is no button on her register to distinguish between two items which are different prices (guess they only the have the button for the pricier item?) Anyways, for a lunch I spent almost 20 dollars for just myself and got chilaquiles and drink!!! WAY TOO PRICEY for what should be quick/ cheap Mexican food ! Pilsen is full of great authentic Mexican food that is affordable and delicious! Please visit elsewhere for better ambiance, honesty, and quality. read more

Have been here twice. First time ordered a chicken taco (edible) and ceviche (not so much). Was told by friends that the last time they had been there, a Nazi biker gang started a full-on brawl. Arrived this Thursday morning at 5 or so and upon seeing us approach, the staff flipped the Open sign, and two women locked the door, rushed into an Infiniti coupe to point and laugh in our direction, and then proceeded to bob and weave around us in their vehicle, brake-checking and swerving. I think they were out of like all kinds of things last time, and it seems it may be 24 hours except when the prospect of serving customers actually looms, but I remember one of the salsas being pretty good, so two stars, I guess. The food is so delicious !!! The asada burritos are the best so are the green chilaquiles . The food isn't even that expensive . I believe it is the best restaurant in Pilsen . I like how it is open until late. There's just one thing I don't like . there is always some lady standing by the cashier in the afternoon or sitting on the first table. She is always dressed all crappy . that is very uncomfortable. She seems to have staring problems . she never seems to do her hair . I don't know if shes the manager or what she is but she doesn't look well there . she should at least look more presentable . she always has this little kid with her too . other than her the restaurant is perfect !! read more
