Overall, disappointing. The Cozumel soup is unlike that found in the rest of the chain. It was mainly chicken shreds, broth and rice. Normally there is a good amount of pico, but not here. No cilantro at all! The shrimp with garlic sauce was Ok but did not taste "house made"--i did not like the sauce at all. Even the kids meal was meh. However there's a problem when the signboard at the entrance clearly states that draft beers are discounted between 5 and 7 but it's not reflected in the bill and when I ask staff seems to have no knowledge of same. I'd rather not have to police the bill when I eat out and I can't believe I'm the first person ever who's ordered a beer. No apology. My family have been longtime customers of this establishment. This establishment is our go to for Mexican food as the food is always great as are the drinks. Our big event for the year going here is Cinco de Mayo. We go here every year as it is a way for us to celebrate and support Mexican heritage. This year was different and may have changed our minds about this place. We arrived on Cinco de Mayo at 7:30 PM. We were told that there was a 20 to 30 minute wait and we were OK with this. At 20 minutes a couple came in and were seated immediately while we were waiting. at about 35 minutes in another group of two came in and were seated immediately. We inquired why, and the hostess could not give us an answer. One of the servers came to the front and took another group that came in after us and seated them. My wife went up and asked again why everyone is getting seated before us. The hostess did not give us an answer. About five minutes later they said that they were clearing a table for us. As we were walking into the dining room to sit at our table, a group of drunken men from the bar pushed past us almost knocking my daughter to the floor, and sat down at the table that was supposed to be for us. I asked the hostess what just happened. She stated that we would have to get back in line and wait for a table to come up. After about an hour of waiting we left and went home. My young daughter never wants to return to this place as people were rude there and we were treated very poorly. I tend to agree with her and maybe we will try to find another establishment to support. Very disappointed in this place. read more

Can't be anymore authentic! Great food and drinks. Shrimp tacos were amazing. Pass on the Mahi tacos... they were super salty. Husband ended up eating some of my shrimp tacos. Kids loved their food. The service was outstanding. Very attentive and fast. Drinks... my marg flight was perfect. Strong and lots of flavor. We stopped in while out of town. Wish we had one by us! A must try. Driving across the country to a new home and a new job, I landed in Richfield for the night at the Hampton Inn. After driving for 8+ hours, the thought of getting back into the car to find dinner was not appealing. I walked next door to Cozumel, and was glad I did. I ordered the house margarita... on the rocks with no salt and it was very tasty. I ordered a second just to make sure and it was tasty as well. While waiting for dinner, they served chips and salsa. Not spicy at all, suitability for all taste buds. For dinner I had El Combo. It came with a taco, chicken chalupa, stuffed poblano pepper and rice. Everything was excellent tasting and right on time. The service from all the staff was outstanding and friendly. I can't write enough good things about this restaurant and would highly recommend to everyone. read more

Had dinner there last night with the family, the whole experience was great. Restaurant was clean, service was fast, and we got seated right away in a great spot. Food was good... but not great. Wife got the lobster tacos but was not impressed. I got grilled beef tacos and thought they were quite bland unfortunately, even with the sauce provided. Nonetheless everything else was perfect and we had a nice dinner. Food prices were of average value, however I scored a jumbo margarita on sale for $9.95 since it was National Margarita Day which was a bonus! read more

This is another branch of Cozumel. It's been open I think close to a year now. They have a bar inside seating and an outdoor patio. Its good food, generous portions, all the standards. Service is good, I like their skinny margaritas (made fresh without the mix). I get the fish tacos, a couple straps of fish with veggies and salsa. The fish isn't prepared w any seasoning. Ambience is fun, open, and clean. The food is every bit as good as other Cozumel locations I have tried. The service is a little lax.

I had the fajitas and they were horrible. I had the chicken shrimp and steak and everything was burnt and dried out along with the green peppers and the onions our waitress never even came over to see if everything was good. I would've told her very disappointed. read more

Got takeout on a Monday night. My husband got the Cancun cheesesteak and I got the super burrito. Both came with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and the Cancun cheesesteak also had guac. We also received chips and salsa, which was a nice touch for takeout since that's what you'd typically receive when dining there in person. Staff were so friendly on the phone and equally friendly when I arrived to pick it up. They have a great setup where you walk in, go up to the counter to pay, then head around the counter to a little breezeway where your order is waiting on a shelf, and exit out the door right there. Just a very efficient setup during COVID. Plenty of sanitizer as you walk in and out too. Props to Cozumel. We'll be back! read more
