I happened by on a weekday afternoon, and it was percolating. I was one of those lost-looking customers who entered the premises and had no idea what to order when he got to the register. The smiling server realized I was confused and pointed to the signature menu on the wall. I thought I should start basic and order the $7.25 Iced Kopi Pandan, a tantalizing mix of dark single-origin espresso, housemade pandan syrup, and almond milk over ice (Photo 8). It was delicious, maybe a tad too sweet for me as the pandan lent a pronounced vanilla-like flavor. The same flavor was more effectively applied to the $6 slice of Pandan Bread which I saw waiting for me to order on the counter (Photo 9). One babka could have probably been split into two servings, especially if you want to try multiple items, but I didn't leave behind a single crumb.
