So I have never been to CA and this is my first time eating here... and my goodness did we pick the BEST spot. The food was delicious to the point where we ate it ALL within minutes. We ordered and within 10 minutes our food was handed to us fresh and warm. My burrito was stuffed and filling. Would absolutely come back. The staff is super nice too. The matcha blended drink is 100x better than the starbucks drink- the vanilla/matcha combination is yummy!

Exactly like they say, a cozy little cafe in San Francisco. Go here if you want amazing and comforting food and a perfect cup of coffee (hot or iced--they even give you simple syrup for the iced!!!!!) We got the San Fran Bagel and 3 egg 3 sausage with pancakes. WOW! Amazing. Tasted like a warm hug, amazing service felt like you were family, and prices are among the best you'll find in the city. Come here for breakfast!

Amazing food, great prices. Space to sit inside for small parties. Cute hole in the wall spot! Would definitely reccomend! Our server was really nice and it surprised me that it was a sit down restaurant! The area is nicer as it is a couple blocks north of the homeless camps. Home cooked type of feel, very authentic, like you're sitting down at your mom's house for some lunch! Very large selection of hot drinks, cold drinks, and smoothies.

Name says it all! Cozy little spot that manages to maximize space w/o feeling cramped. The service is super attentive. Tiny kitchen and staff pump out excellent breakfast w/ lightening speed.

Great variety of breakfast and sandwiches, as well as full Expresso bar with non-dairy milk options. This is your perfect one-stop shop for coffee and breakfast on your commute to work. Not recommend for groups but great when you want a tasty, reasonably priced breakfast and latte!

It was my first time visiting this cafe and I walked in just as they were closing, the employee there was so kind and gave me a free danish they were getting rid of! Very delicious and I hope to purchase from them in the future!

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

Perhaps for the same reason, this spot seems to always be full of people all day long. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I went there today and actually found an empty table to work at. To keep myself from dozing off, I ordered their Dirty Chai. The dose of caffeine from this drink did its job wonderfully as I was able to get some productivity flowing for a solid 3-4 hours in one sitting. Service at the CoffeeShop was soundly satisfactory as I didn't have trouble hearing my name when my order was ready. Heck, even the dog outside the shop turned at the sound of the announcement. WiFi here worked like a charm, which is a definite plus for butt-planters like me who needed to get their job done. The only improvement I'd suggest would be for some pillows or seat cushions to be provided from those of us who easily suffer from achy butt.

Mobile ordering is from the table and food brought directly. Water, more utensils, to-go boxes and extra plates can be retrieved from a service station. And no sense of having to eat and rush out. Kimchee fried rice was excellent - having eaten this at many places this one is standout for its flavor and textures. Breakfast sandwich was special with the croissant bun. The sandwich is somehow so soft, yet not soggy. Gochuchang cookie was very good balance of flavor considering its namesake ingredient. It's perfect texture of soft and chewy. I'd suggest taking one (or 2!) home to enjoy later. Sausage pastry was my least favorite of the items I ordered, but savory pastry is just not my preference.

I ordered the matchazuke 4.5/5 and the matcha latte 4/5 and they were both delicious. The matchazuke was perfectly savory, each bite packed full of umami. The piece of salmon was seasoned nicely, not too salty and paired perfectly with the matcha. The matcha broth was so comforting, you could taste the bonito dashi they used to make it. I was worried the portion would be too small but it was pretty filling! The matcha latte had a beautiful deep green color and was creamy and not too sweet. I did noticed that it was a little grainy, which was the only thing I didnt like about this experience. My partner ordered a hojicha latte and said it was a 5/5 and it's her new favorite place to get hojicha latte in SF. I would definitely come back and try more of their menu. The smiling server realized I was confused and pointed to the signature menu on the wall. I thought I should start basic and order the $7.25 Iced Kopi Pandan, a tantalizing mix of dark single-origin espresso, housemade pandan syrup, and almond milk over ice (Photo 8). It was delicious, maybe a tad too sweet for me as the pandan lent a pronounced vanilla-like flavor. The same flavor was more effectively applied to the $6 slice of Pandan Bread which I saw waiting for me to order on the counter (Photo 9). My babka was plated on a dainty ceramic dish, which matched the old-school European cafe vibes. The babka was light and fluffy, yet the outside was crisp and buttery like a croissant. The salted chocolate layers folded into the pastry were the perfect balance of sweet and salty, and the chocolate tasted high-quality. One babka could have probably been split into two servings, especially if you want to try multiple items, but I didn't leave behind a single crumb. All around us, the other diners seemed to be enjoying a full-scale brunch with savory pastries and what appeared to be a Turkish breakfast platter. It all smelled wonderful, so I'll have to explore more of the menu on my next visit. I enjoyed the mahlab cake a day later and was amazed that it retained its delicate and light texture. The icing was lightly flavored with orange, cherry, and floral notes, and the presentation was so elegant. The cake was the perfect accompaniment to my afternoon cup of tea. While I'm on a mission to try as many of SF's bakeries as I can, I am looking forward to returning to Loquat.
