The staff is pleasant, kind, and helpful. The food was fresh and the ingredients were generous, had a good taste, and is a good value. We had a mushroom omelette which came with sautéed potatoes and a small serve of fresh fruit - YAY for no grapes! The one criticism is the coffee is just ok and nothing to brag about. It is a bit noisy but that is to be expected when you have very large windows and are located on a major road. There is plentiful natural light and that is a big plus. The cafe was tidy and the tables were clean and not sticky. One star deduction for "meh" coffee.

Very cute brunch spot with plenty of seating. The food was delicious and the service was even better. The manager went out of her way to greet us and ensure that our brunch was great. We ordered the salmon benedict, breakfast burrito, tomato soup and brisket wrap. Everything was cooked to perfection! And $8 mimosas?? Say less!

Visited a Saturday around noon and although the place was busy, there were tables available, so we were able to sit immediately. I ordered a large cappuccino and a breakfast croissant. The cappuccino was very rich and the velvety microfoam was perfect. The breakfast croissant was good and light. Although important to note that the croissant didn't taste freshly baked and are less flaky than others you can find around the area. Overall, would revisit this place for their brunch menu and/or coffee! Also, very good prices for the amount of food.

I live right around the corner, so Brioche is a staple for me. I'm a vegetarian and they have plenty of food options for me. Service is always quick whether you dine in or order takeout, and I love that the food is always consistent. Their coffee's always jolt me awake in the early mornings. They have plenty of cute seating with lots of natural lighting as well. Give it a try!

This is one of my go to spots for brunch type food or to treat a friend for brunch/lunch or snack. They have sandwiches, quiches, omelettes, and other items such as soup & salads. You order at counter, receive a number, and food will be delivered to your table. They have a panini maker in the front and a kitchen towards the side so some items are made to order. The quiches are on display and some wraps so I believe those are pre-made. However, they do provide yummy side salad to make the presentation nice. They usually have plenty of seating as they have an extended area and a few tables outdoors. Some things to note: -Outdoor seating is write by the bus stop. It's also in front of a great view of the green cool building by Transamerica... tourist alert! -The music is somewhat loud inside -The bathroom is far (you'll see) -They do run out of items. No meatball sandwich this day :( Overall though, a good spot I would return to!

A not-so-Hidden Gem in the Heart of North Beach! Nestled in the charming and historic North Beach neighborhood, this place is a must-visit. My friend and I stopped by for a quick breakfast before our usual Sunday routine of strolling around the city. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home--super friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito and a Breakfast Croissant, along with some coffee. Everything was delicious, fresh, and surprisingly affordable! The food had a wholesome, healthy vibe that left us feeling good and energized. I also noticed this spot is loved by both locals and tourists alike, which speaks volumes about its quality. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

We came here for a quick brunch before walking around Chinatown and it was solid! There were two rooms for seating so plenty of space. We got the veggie omelette, sandwich, and French toast. All pretty good and my favorite was the sandwich with all the flavorful veggies! Recommend stopping by here if in the area!

We were in the Chinatown area and stopped here for breakfast, and it was yummy!! We got the veggie mozzarella sandwich, French toast, and chicken omelet. The sandwich in particular was really yummy and had good interesting flavors! Really enjoyed! The omelette and French toast were also good, nothing special but satisfying and filling. The place seems small when you walk in but there is another side room with more seating. Service was pretty fast! I recommend if you're in the area!

Stopped in while walking around the city because I was desperate for a sandwich. To me the decor came across as rustic but very much a sandwich shop. There is a good amount of seating and you can order to go or for a sit down meal. I got a turkey and cheese panini and it came with a side salad - simple but perfect. I ate half and was able to wrap up and take the rest with me, which came in perfectly as a nice handheld snack while I walked around the city. The staff were pleasant. There is water if you need to fill up your water bottle. Around $17 for this meal.

Brioche Bakery is an underrated cafe in North Beach that serves delicious coffee and brunch/lunch items at a reasonable cost. Located further down Columbus and away from the bustling center of North Beach, Brioche has quick service and offers indoor and outdoor seating in a cozy atmosphere. There aren't many places in North Beach that serve traditional American brunch/lunch food like omelettes, benedicts, sandwiches, and salads. But if you're in the area and craving that kind of food, this is the place to visit.

    Pleasant place.

Cute, inviting bakery & cafe with excellent food & beverages. The mushroom quiche is almost soufflé -like, having no crust and being full of favorable mushrooms and the taste of rich cheese. This is my absolute favorite so far. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon is also delicious. The pastries and baked goods are very good, buttery and flaky (try the croissants & Kouign amann). They also serve sandwiches, salads in addition to a wide selection of breakfast items. The coffee drinks are excellent and you can taste the espresso in the latte. Generous portions, reasonable prices in a clean, brightly lit environment with friendly service. I like that this place is located at the edge of the Financial District, North Beach & Chinatown, which makes it appealing to get to from different directions.

There are some famous and historical places to grab sandwiches in North Beach like Molinari and Freddie's. There is also a place on Columbus Avenue by Joe DiMaggio playground park on which has a French name and serves up some of San Francisco finest sandwiches and it's called" Le Sandwich ". On a Winter season stroll in the beginning of 2026 , I landed at Le Sandwich. This place has lots of sandwiches available made by Chef Elias. I decided to try their Primo ( means Prime in Italian) sandwich. I have to say this is one of the tastiest sandwiches I had in San Francisco. It had meats which were tender such as Genoa Salami, coppa, and ham. It's has melting provolone which made it cheesy like some in SF. For a chowder restaurant, this was really surprising and disappointing. We let our waitress know about our concerns, and her response was simply that she would let the chef know.
