The manager came over and apologized and offered to remake the food, but at that point my kids were hungry, upset, and honestly I was too. I just wanted to leave. I asked if they could comp the meal because this was entirely due to their mistake. The manager then said we should still pay 50% of the bill, which was honestly shocking. Paying half for food we barely ate because it was taken by mistake felt completely unreasonable. After I pushed back, they did end up comping the meal. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What made this experience especially disappointing was the manager's lack of empathy and apology--especially as a mom trying to manage dinner with little kids. It turned what started as a pleasant dinner into a very stressful and upsetting experience.

Do not eat here! I ordered through Uber eats and food was disgusting paid $40 to throw in trash. It was not because of delivery we paid for priority and it was delivered early. Ordered prime melt minus tomatoes and mushrooms. Got no mayo, no lettuce, and the meat was not shaved prime rib it was that gross frozen steak ems meat. Fries seemed like they were cooked yesterday and reheated with absolutely no seasoning. We all know what reheated fries taste and feel like. Then the Cobb salad had rancid ranch dressing that had a green hue to it, smeeled like tartar sauce and the consistency of a thick paste, half a slice of tomato, the avocado still had skin and stem attached to it, and what appears to be a cheap lunch meat turkey I think instead of ham. Revisited this little cafe after a multi year gap, and was delightfully surprised. We visited on a Sunday during brunch hours, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I got the French dip... the meat was tender, the sandwich roll was perfect, the right balance between soft and chewy, and the au jus was flavorful without being overly salty. My hubby got the hash, his was cooked to perfect crispness and he raved about the flavor; in some other places we have tried, the hash looks and smells like dog food. My husband and I LOVE coming to Cozy Corner. First thing we noticed was how the owner and servers knew everyone's name. They are very personable and kind. They are also very prompt and are always working to get you good service. The food has been amazing every time we've been there. I usually get the veggie omelette and their home fries, and my husband likes the biscuits and gravy or the country fried steak. Wait times aren't bad and prices are very fair! read more

I can sympathize needing social interaction when my kids were little, but really it was a fire hazard and shouldn't have been allowed. You couldn't walk through that area, so it hindered the wait service. There should have been better management of the service flow that day. I won't be back.
