    Denver Omelette and pancakes
    Greg G.

Cozy Corner was a clutch breakfast find while staying in Logan Square. My wife and I went for a walk Amin the morning and could smell the inviting breakfast smells coming from the Cozy Corner tucked right under the California Blue line stop on the metro. We were greeted as soon as we stepped inside the door. Our waitress took us to our table and got our coffee right away. I ordered a Denver omelette and my wife got an egg breakfast with pancakes. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. For a little neighborhood diner near the metro, our expectations were low, but it was a surprisingly great meal. If you are hungry and in the Logan Square area or passing by, stop by and grab a bite. It won't disappoint.

In town for a visit and this place had some great reviews. I got the 2x2 special with scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes and couldn't even finish half as the portion was huge!! Great value for the price. 7 am on a Wednesday morning and we were 1 of 5 tables, but around lunch time they were absolutely packed I'm assuming due to their delicious food and proximity to the Blue Line.

Even though I've lived nearby for a while, I avoided this location because the parking lot always seemed stressful. I eventually realized there's another parking lot around the corner with plenty of space, which made visiting much easier. I've now been twice and both visits have been great. The food has been consistently delicious, and while this location seems a bit more expensive than others, it makes sense given the area. Service has been good each time. I usually order the veggie skillets and they've been excellent. They are definitely my go-to. Overall, I'm glad I finally stopped by and would definitely return.

While the server was extremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately the food was not good,at least mine. The chilaquiles verdes were bad. The salsa was definitely missing salt. The rice and beans are inedible. They had a horrid after taste. The chilaquiles had an absurd amount of black pepper. I understand when people say char broil but come one that was pretty much burned on the top. They are clean and professional which, I will give them that. The atmosphere is nice ,people are friendly. Everyone is happy. (Except me at this moment).

I don't how to feel about this place , it was decent but overall didn't feel welcoming. The servers were non- chalant and didn't seem too enthusiastic. The food overall for a diner was ok , it tasted less passionate and more let's turn a table. The ambiance was ok , but could've been better.

Standard diner that didn't really distinguish itself from any other. The food was ok and the prices are high. Portions are typical of American restaurants - way too much.

Been here multiple times, most recently got take-out, never disappoint. Has multiple locations around the city. Overall consistent with a traditional dinner. Plenty of option for breakfast and lunch. I typically get the breakfast sandwich which has already been good. You can customize the sandwich in many ways, in terms of bread, meat, and egg style. Service is average, not bad by all means. The ambiance is also average, a typical dinner. There is usually a longer wait in the weekends, but goes by pretty quickly. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is free and can be found in the front with additional parking in the rear.

Average food, good service and diner-like ambience. I got the abuelita skillet - it's more of a hash brown skillet with tons of chillies and very little meat. Avocado piece that came with it was not fresh, nor the bread.

Great spot for a hot breakfast at a fair price. The sausage had amazing flavor and the hash browns were hot and perfectly cooked. I'm always a stickler about coffee and they had some strong, hot coffee! Great breakfast spot!

Fireeee. Haven't been in-person but had it delivered after a sucky night out and it slapped. So yummy, bold flavors, fresh food, and brings so much comfort. Need to make a stop in.

    Avocado toast rocked.

We also were the only people in the restaurant at one point and the service was still very slow. I got the cucumber gin cocktail which was the highlight for me! For our food we got the Caesar salad with chicken, the chicken tacos, and the chips and guacamole. You could tell the chips were homemade and were so light and crunchy. I loved that the tacos had bite sized pieces of grilled chicken in them, and they were seasoned so nicely. Overall a nice lunch!

I must admit that I had low expectations because quite frankly, I have not enjoyed Mexican food outside of Mexico or California. However, we were hungry, and it was near where we were staying, so I decided we should check it out, and I am so glad we did! The food was great. Both adults and the VERY picky children in our group all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the other adult ordered a chile relleno combo, which I also got to try. Everything was delicious and devoured by all! We were so full but the owner talked us into the chocoflan, and we did not regret trying it. It was soooo good! Speaking of the owner, the service was great. We really enjoyed how he and the rest of the staff were very courteous. It is a small establishment, and it gets a good amount of people, so I assume that there are waits during peak hours. I highly recommend Sabroso! And we plan to return the next time we are in the area.

Spicy and bitterness of the chocolate balanced super well. rice was also cooked perfectly. The shredded beef dish was short rib and mashed potatoes. They were meant to be assembled into a homemade tortilla - a very interesting concept. The homemade tortillas were so warm and fluffy. I have never had such good tortillas. I took a tamale plate home. It was large and had a good portion of shredded pork. Super flavorful, but also I felt the texture might've been firmer than I would've expected.
