Thuan Phat is a typical Vietnamese market in this sense. You can get most of the ingredients a Chinese family needs. Their fried or dried pork skin is actually much better than what I have found in most Chinese grocery stores. But again, only buy what you know. You need to know the quality, and you need to know how to process it. This Thuan Phat also has several tanks and a full seafood counter for live seafood, including crabs, tilapia, and other fish. The prices are lower than at many Chinese markets, and honestly, the quality is not bad at all.
