Hands down the best pizza in town! Seafood is always fantastic as well with a very friendly atmosphere.

    Delectable key lime pie

I had the Baja shrimp tacos and my boyfriend ordered the blackened mahi. It was dusted with seasoning instead of being served with a crust. We were discussing his sandwich when the owner came by and apologized for how it was prepared. He took it off the bill and gave us a slice of heavenly key lime pie. Yay for responsive owners! Thank you

Drove through downtown Marion on my way back from hiking tonight (Sunday night) and found this gem of a restaurant! I sat outside on their patio and had wonderful service! I asked about local favorites on the menu and the Oyster Poe Boy was recommended. She mentioned they may almost be out of oysters and recommended a combo of oysters and shrimp. I'm so thankful she did, it was amazing! Had the house special, Limoncello Martini too!

We are in town just for the night and while we were recommended to try a different location, this menu (go to their website), seemed more what we were looking for. In the heart of Marion off of Main Street, this place is a gem. The staff welcomes you as if you are one of the regulars (we got to watch them greet a regular customer and there was no difference). We had Casey as our server and Kelly made special appearances at our table. Both of them were quite lovely and provided additional recommendations and local facts. Their Yelp doesn't have many pictures, their food is worth the visit. As a native Marylander I get extremely skeptical when a restaurant this far from the coast places "Maryland Crab Cakes" on their menu. I tried them and they were perfectly moist, not much filler, and were a wonderful substitute to the ones I find back home. Try this place and tell them Dawn & Paris sent you. You will not be disappointed.

How many folks just pay without looking? This isn't an oversight, it seems intentional. Jalapeño Margarita: Menu says $10.50, charged $13.50 (wow!). Old Fashioned: Menu said $9, charged $9.50. I think the meal prices were wrong too, but they already took the food menu. I still had the drink menu to take this photo from. Buyer beware!

While we understand that some restaurants have policies regarding larger parties, I believe gratuities should reflect the quality of service provided. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The service was slow, we had difficulty getting water refills and other items we requested, and overall the level of attention did not justify a 22% gratuity. What made the situation worse was the response after concerns were raised. We were informed that the credit card had already been processed for the full amount and were told that we should find another restaurant in the future if we were unhappy with the policy. In addition, after another member of our party left a review, a response from management included insulting and unprofessional remarks about customers who questioned the gratuity. Rather than addressing customer concerns respectfully, the response appeared hostile and dismissive. I believe tipping should be voluntary and based on the quality of service received. Customers should be informed of automatic gratuity policies before ordering, and concerns should be handled professionally. Due to both the service and management's response, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

It was a Saturday night so we weren't sure if a table or bar seats would be available. The incredibly polite hosts said they would see what could be done, and less than 10 minutes later we had a lovely table. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and the staff was the epitomy of professional. There was also live music (a nice bonus), but not loud enough to detract from a conversation. Let me tell ya, if you like seafood get your butt to the Lobster Trap. The oysters were very fresh and delectable. The blackened snapper and coconut crusted halibut were to die for. Seriously one of the better meals of my 42 years. Albeit, somewhere pricy, but honestly well worth it (especially when on vacation). Get on down to the Lobster Trap and you will not regret it. Cheers!

The catfish is the best I've had in Asheville, so far. I've tried Good Hot Fish, some of the other oyster houses and the po-boys at Sunny Point, but Crab du Jour is my fave, when it comes to catfish. Everyone is cordial and accommodating here. The sweet potatoes could use a little soul food mama help, but otherwise, everything I've had here has been delicious, from the clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. Selfishly, I want the crawfish season to last longer, but I don't know the choreography of the rain dances to extend that season, so here we are with frozen IQFs.

(2/5 Stars)…read more Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing from start to finish. The service was fair, but the food took a very long time to arrive. When it finally did, the seafood didn't seem particularly fresh, and the catfish was overcooked to the point of being burnt. To the restaurant's credit, they did offer a discount after the issue was brought to their attention, which I appreciated. However, the quality of the meal simply wasn't what I expected. One thing that also stood out was the feedback box near the cashier. It was so overloaded with comment cards that it honestly made me wonder whether the feedback is ever reviewed or acted upon. If customer comments are being collected, there should be a visible effort to address the concerns people are taking the time to write down. I hope this was just an off day, but between the long wait, poor food quality, and the impression that customer feedback may not be taken seriously, I don't see myself returning.
