The service was slow, we had difficulty getting water refills and other items we requested, and overall the level of attention did not justify a 22% gratuity. What made the situation worse was the response after concerns were raised. We were informed that the credit card had already been processed for the full amount and were told that we should find another restaurant in the future if we were unhappy with the policy. In addition, after another member of our party left a review, a response from management included insulting and unprofessional remarks about customers who questioned the gratuity. Rather than addressing customer concerns respectfully, the response appeared hostile and dismissive. I believe tipping should be voluntary and based on the quality of service received. Customers should be informed of automatic gratuity policies before ordering, and concerns should be handled professionally. Due to both the service and management's response, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

One thing that also stood out was the feedback box near the cashier. It was so overloaded with comment cards that it honestly made me wonder whether the feedback is ever reviewed or acted upon. If customer comments are being collected, there should be a visible effort to address the concerns people are taking the time to write down. I hope this was just an off day, but between the long wait, poor food quality, and the impression that customer feedback may not be taken seriously, I don't see myself returning.
