What I will say really topped it off is we had a last round of drinks before closing out and then continued to talk for another 20-30minutes. About 15 minutes in the server brought us both to-go waters, after we already tipped her. Based on our convos she knew how far we both needed to drive and wanted to make sure we had enough water. But don't let that fool you. The BBQ is gold inside. I've had the Brisket and I think I'm back in Texas. The Pulled Pork is so good and Smokey with just the right amount of bark. And if you like smoked chicken, either get the 1/2 or quarter chicken plate or add on 5 smoked wings. They are some of the best I've had. Their sides are all made in house, and I prefer the Brunswick stew. If you get a plate you get two sides and I'll typically try to talk them into the homemade banana pudding as my second side. Their sauces are good but unique in that they have a mustard base or vinegar base. I like them but that may different for you.... But trust me their smoke is so good you really don't even need sauce. And to me that is a sign of FANTASTIC BBQ! The staff is friendly and willing to help you with the menu as well as it's a little confusing when you first stop in because it's all hand written on the wall. The waiters came around, but at one point I had a small mountain of used plates and bowls on the table. The restaurant itself was clean, but not overly so.
