Stoped by this location on a recent road trip and is still a favorite of mine. Right off the highway and plenty of parking and camper parking make this a go-to for us when traveling!

Another recent brunch at CB, service by Tina was excellent though she had about 4 other tables but always found time to check to see if we were ok. Food served hot and in a timely manner. Always loved the ambiance. Great grilled catfish my favorite.

Well Cracker Barrel has always been a road trip staple since I was a kid. They are all certainly hit or miss depending on the day. Now when coming here if you looking for world class chains well it's not happening but if you looking for some staples that are good and remind of some southern cooking then you will have a good experience. Our serve was nice but we had some issues with our food and the manger just excuses everything away. My food was decent I got the fried chicken breast and got it with a side of pancakes and onion straws. The kickback sauce is good. It not too noises where you can't talk to your table.

Here's the Scoop! Love this restaurant! Whenever we're driving south we look for one. The food is hearty and delicious. The service is always quick and they and always helpful when ordering. Specials for everyday of the week. They have nice portions. Delicious corn bread. The outer store has all of the goodies, games, clothing and jewelry is awesome. Every candy and snack you bought as a child is there. It's a walk down memory lane. If you haven't tried them yet you must. You'll definitely find something that will tickle your fancy.

We used to go here all of the time when our kid was small. Decided to stop by again recently. They were busy so service was a little on the slow side. Their pancakes were good as usual. The cinnamon rolls were pretty good too.

It's not just me who noticed the decline! I hope they fix it soon!

Please see the attached article! This is extremely upsetting, as Cracker Barrel is my favorite chain restaurant!

I want to start off by saying that Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite chain restaurants to go to. But this time was very ehhh. The service was great, per usual. But the food? It took a little longer than usual to get the food AND when it arrived, it was not hot.

Stopped in for some breakfast while on a road trip and I was so disappointed! This place was freezing first of all, the staff was ok, but appeared to be in training. Got their cracker barrel breakfast platter and the sausage tasted like cardboard, the grits and eggs were decent, their biscuits have to be pre frozen they were awful. We had their country bowl and that was greasy and rancid. Will not return to dine in but I do love the experience of their gift shop! Unique candies and gift items !

Seating is prompt, the waitstaff service is cordial and also quick. This particular Cracker Barrel is celebrating his 25th anniversary in Fishkill. Food comes out quick enough, and it's close to what you ordered as possible. Good for small groups or families, as well as a single diner. The "country store" is filled with gift ideas and seasonal merchandise, as well as candies and beverages you don't see much anymore. There's a lot of nostalgia there.

Beautiful night out in Hudson Valley and parked right in front. Beautiful looking restaurant with one person eating at the bar and four tables eating inside. The menu looks solid. Both of them actually because FtT has a seasonal menu AND a full length daily menu (that's a lot of food and skill...think they can pull it off?). Once we put in orders, and inform our server it's a birthday celebration. Every further interaction with my server starts with "I'm sorry but..." - drinks come out two by two and one by one because the bartender is busy - apps come out an HOUR later (this place is half dead) because "the kitchen never got it" - the first bottle of wine I order is unavailable. As is the second. The third bottle of nice white wine comes out along with a glass of ice (??) because the bottle was never refrigerated and, I guess we are supposed to put ice cubes in our wine?? "I'm sorry but no one put wine in the refrigerator." I tell her to bring me what they have that is cold and I'll pick... - the entrees come out and you know you have chosen poorly. The lobster roll was almost frozen lobster on a soggy piece of Wonder bread, both people who got muscles got four deep, spit half of them out and were advised by us NOT TO EAT anymore. That nuked the seafood soup which had a funny smell after a few bites. My lump crab pasta had a pound of cheese on the top rendering all crab into globs of parm. - after inspecting the table not pleased and kind of picking at their food or not eating it at all, our waitress apologizes yet again...and gives me the full check. - no dessert here, or complimentary dessert (not offered), we all basically escaped...and $500 lighter

Bert is the baker and chef and he knows his craft. I got a fruit cake ( very moist and rum filled ) and a gingerbread house and both were phenomenal. From what I saw spying at patrons plates the breakfast and lunch food look delicious and everyone seemed very satisfied with what they had. The menu is somewhat seasonal it seems. For example , I've heard Bert does a good chicken pot pie but not during the holidays bc he concentrates on foods for that time of year. Remember that this is a mom and pop kinda place. Only one person in front and Bert in the back so don't expect fast service. But that is why you should come here to rub elbows with the locals and just enjoy life and good food.
