My family and I have not been here in a couple of years. The last couple times the service was bad to mediocre. The food was cold and unappealing. We wanted to give it another try. We love the campfire meals and they just brought them back. My son had the campfire shrimp casserole, I had the campfire beef and my hubby has campfire chicken. The service was very good, the meals were hot and flavorful! We also tried the mini cinnamon rolls. They were good too. We all had a nice meal. The restaurant had not changed and the decor was the same. The bathroom was clean too. We will come back.

I get that Cracker Barrel is a contentious topic at the moment but lucky for me I don't bring politics into my food or reviews!! I hadn't had Cracker Barrel for the first time until last year and man is it delicious. It's simple, breakfast and fried delights. I like that they feed my shopping addiction both before and after my meals, and I know what to expect when I eat there- no surprises! The waitresses are always very nice and my boyfriend puts us on the waitlist so we never have to wait when we show up (but I wouldn't complain anyways when I can shop and sit in a rocking chair)! Love the random quirky stuff on the walls it's gimmicky and still fresh for me!!

Despite some of the poor reviews on this Cracker Barrel, I had excellent service and the food was fantastic. The waitress was very helpful. The Cracker Barrel was clean and had all of the typical storefront items and decorations. The only negative was that the parking lot had quite a bit of trash around it.

A consistent menu all over the U.S. There's two locations in Albuquerque. Though their decor is also consistent with all other restaurants, the vibe at each one feels a tad different. The hosts at one are friendly but at the other, depending on who it is, not as welcoming. At that same location, on Coors, I was once charged for a small container of milk when I only requested enough milk for my coffee instead of the usual half n half. I quit the rewards program because too many times, the cashier didn't know how to process it. No biggie. The food is still delicious. The wood paneling is nostalgic yet often too dark. The restrooms are basically clean. Over the years, whether I was vegetarian or not, I've eaten my fave dishes but this time, I could not resist ordering their pork chops. Also note that corn muffins are only available after 11am.

Raw chicken , after it sat in its own heat for approximately an hour ..disgusting

Never received the gift cards offered for order mistakes , not once but three times , and the last time the chicken still had feathers on it. Try the second location , if you must .Wish you all luck . And Amy (manager ) no I do not want to finish cooking my chicken at home , that defeats the purpose of take out..

I haven't been here in years, so was looking forward to giving it a try. I will start out by saying that our server was great, very attentive and the everyone was very friendly. The place is really what you'd expect from a cracker barrel in terms of the decor and the front area store which is always a delight. I do love looking through the old candies and other knickknacks. I wanted a lighter meal and decided I wanted the lemon pepper grilled rainbow trout. Reviewing the menu now it says it comes with two fillets, I was only served one! No wonder the dish seemed really really small. for the price, I wonder where the other one went. Too bad I hadn't remembered the menu that well when I was in the restaurant. The side salad, which is in the photo, was huge though. I guess I might go back if I want the fried food, but looking back now with the knowledge that they literally halved my meal, I'm not sure I will. I guess read the menu carefully and watch what they bring you? I've learned my lesson!

Great news!!! I think they've gotten better after getting several bad reviews. Lately my servers have been awesome and today I had a newcomer, Precious... her real name. She was so polite and efficient. They've also made changes to the menu and added what I was wanting - "4-6 pm dinner specials." There's a group of about 6-7 dinners to choose from and the portions as well as the prices are reduced. My meal today was still enough for me to take some home. I got the Steak Tips w Garlic sauce, fresh broccoli and fresh mashed potatoes w brown gravy. All very good. I'm ok w mashed potatoes w some lumps bc then I know they're fresh and NOT instant. My dinner was $9.99. So all great for fighting the Inflation and still eating well. I skipped dessert today but the Peach Cobbler w a Scoop of Vanilla ice cream was very tempting. Or the Chocolate Coca Cola cake also tempting.

Hooray for the Cracker Barrel continuing to support the RV lifestyle. I arrived here super late and departed super early so I did not have a chance to get a meal today. So I owe you, Cracker Barrel! Inside, the usual country store with localized sports clothes, games, candy. Restrooms were quite clean. Wifi worked well. I owe you a breakfasst, CB! If you're also parking here overnight, they'd like you to buy a meal but it's not required. Please be respectful of the space so that we can continue to have this great resource! Only the other one in the South Valley (where we never go) has them. The tv commercials didn't say that. I did let the servers know this bc I felt it was false advertising. We got a Flight of 4 different beers and "settled" on a fried fish w salad which was ok and their grilled catfish tacos which you had to eat w a fork bc they were too messy to pick up w your fingers.. They tasted ok but the salsa and a pink sauce (?) helped to give them more flavor. The atmosphere was ok and the Friday evening crowd was arriving. We ate inside and our server, Sophia, was very good. It didn't take long to get our dinners except my partner's salad took forever! The salads are included w the meals. My salad was different and good which was a Blackeye pea, corn, & more ingredients. My experience there was disappointing since I wanted ribs and not "soggy" fish tacos. I might go back for the beer only.

One is the darker bar area but we were seated in a room full of full length windows that opened. I had a flight of their beers and enjoyed them all. For lunch I had their red chile bbq pork sandwich while my wife had the enchiladas. The food is a mix of Southern soul food and New Mexican standards. My wife actually preferred her food here over the well regarded New Mexican restaurant we went the previous day. I really liked my sandwich with its kiss of heat.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal. The rustic charm of the decor, combined with the lively buzz of happy diners, made it feel like a home away from home. I started with the Shrimp and Grits, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, plump, and juicy, seasoned to perfection with a subtle kick that danced on my taste buds. The grits were creamy and rich, with just the right amount of buttery goodness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more. Next up was the Fried Chicken and Waffle Jr. Plate, a true masterpiece. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned with a secret blend of spices that elevated it to new heights. The waffle was fluffy and golden, a perfect vessel for soaking up every drop of syrup. While I do wish they used Vermont maple syrup grade A, it was by no means a flaw, it only added to the charm of the dish. The Sweet Tea was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. It was refreshingly sweet, with a hint of lemon that brightened each sip and left a lingering taste of summer. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every need was met with a smile. Their genuine hospitality added to the overall experience, making me feel like a valued guest. Frank's Chicken and Waffle is a culinary gem in Albuquerque, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal that will delight your senses and warm your soul.

There's this breakfast one on a green chile biscuit (a BEC on a Local) that just keeps me up at night because it's all I want! (...longing looking out the window...) These biscuits are huge in size and just overall the most buttery and perfect decadent carb. They're a huge hit with the family as well, so I come away from those markets with a batch of six Originals! I do love the instances that I can order ahead on the Rail Yards Market system and do a drive thru pick up when we can't go in person. However, that being said, when you go in person, that's when you can get your hands on some of these delectable biscuit sandwiches! The Southern Belle is another brunch favorite of mine.
