I was out running errands and wanted to pick up food on the way home. I pulled up Cracker Barrel on the website and tried to order curbside delivery. The website wasn't completing my order, so I called the store directly. Here's the conversation: Me: hello, I'd like to place a curbside pickup order CB: sure, what would you like? (She proceeds to take my order, gives me total and says it will be ready in about 15-20 mins.) Me: do I call you when I get there and let You know to bring it out? CB: no, you'll have to come inside to get it. Just speak to the cashier and we will bring it to you. You can only do curbside on the website. Me: I tried but it isn't allowing me to complete the order, so I called. CB: that happens a lot! We get many complaints about that. You should call corporate to complain. Me: I'd rather not come inside. I have a sprained ankle, my dogs in the car and I have groceries. CB: sorry, we can't help. But you're welcome to come inside. Is there anything else you need? Me: Nevermind. Cancel my order if you can't accommodate. CB: are you sure? Me: no, that's ok, just cancel CB: ok sure. You'll have to complain to corporate about that website. Why didn't she tell me right away she couldn't do curbside over the phone? 2- if it's known issue, why is it the customers responsibility to call corporate? My boyfriend and I visited this location and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The wait time was extremely long, and when our food finally arrived, our order was incorrect. We ordered French toast to go and specifically asked for syrup and butter. We were told both items were included in the bag, but when we got home, neither was there. To make matters worse, when we went to check out, the staff couldn't locate our ticket and asked me to identify the server who helped us. It turned out she had been holding our ticket the entire time. Time for an update. I love coming to Cracker Barrel. I have a favorite dinner here, one that appeals to my desire to have a great "home style" meal. Home style meals are the forte here. Meals you might have had as a kid, simple, somewhat nutritious (depending on what you choose). Don't get me wrong, I enjoy more gourmet type meals, but, honestly it's just too much on a regular basis. Today I had my grilled chicken tenders, green beans and chose a side salad instead of my typical broccoli. Corn muffins and iced tea. So good. Service is always home town friendly, although sometimes getting seated is slow. But there is the store you peruse while waiting. So many fun things to look at! This particular Cracker Barrel is our fav in Albuquerque. I'll keep coming, if Cracker Barrel keeps cooking up the home meals I crave. read more

There were quite a few problems that we encountered: - Waitress took 5 to 10 minutes to greet us and take our order; - They gave us the wrong sides with our order; - Ten minutes after ordering, the waitress told us they didn't have any chicken and dumplings, we needed to order something else; - They left the bacon off my bacon-cheeseburger; - The food was lukewarm. We eat at Cracker Barrel at least a couple of times a month. It's not too hard to find a relatively healthy option for lunch or dinner - the grilled trout and smokey southern grilled chicken are good options. Breakfast features huge portions; you could easily get two breakfasts out of one order. I usually order the Momma's Breakfast, which has two eggs, bacon or sausage, and either pancakes or French toast. It's pretty much the smallest order on the menu and it's still a lot, but it's tasty. I really appreciate that Cracker Barrel supports the RVers by allowing us to use their parking lots for overnight parking. There is no charge for this. They would like you to please buy a meal, or shop in the store, but it's not required. And you're expected to treat the parking lot with respect, i.e., no trash or campfires. I rarely find myself at Cracker Barrel these days but have to admit I actually like this chain...a lot! I just love that their shops are attractive (with lots of cool retro/country shopping items) and a good selection of items on the menu. Plus, who wouldn't enjoy good comfort food once in a while, right? I had a chance to try their Biscuit Benny and honestly thought it was such a great deal! It was just a little shy of $12 for a large, delicious meal that came with 2 sides of choice (I had their fried apples and hash brown casserole as my sides). Yummy! The only thing is..while I thought the meal was a great deal (taste and price wise, the drinks are a bit pricey (my refillable.soda was $3.49..not a deal compared to my actual meal comparatively). That said, all in all, I paid just shy of $20 including taxes and tips for such a nice, heavy breakfast/brunch meal that would probably last me all day! Great staff..and I love that now you get a receipt with. QR code that you can just scan and self-service pay for the service without going up to a counter to pay for your meal after.you are done. I went today with my mom and sister. I ordered the old timers special, my sister ordered the pancakes and catfish, my mom ordered off the a la carte menu. While waiting for our food we saw Alondra our server rolling her eyes at other customers simply ordering their food. When we got our food my sister got her food exactly as she ordered it i got the eggs (cold and undercooked) sausage(cold) and grits(sucked) my mom got handed the same thing as me witch was extremely odd when I told her I was also supposed to have biscuits and gravy and revealed that she CHANGED MY MOMS ORDER instead giving her the old timers special! IM SORRY BUT YOU DONT CHANGE SOMEONES ORDER WITHOUT ASKING! This brought my mom to borderline tears. I must say, I had two really good meals at the Cracker Barrel while in Albuquerque. Service was wonderful and quick. The followup was frequent. The meals were delicious and warm. My friend ordered the shepherds pie too much grease in the bottom of the plate my meatloaf came out barely warm their excuse it's kept in a warmer if I wanted it hot enough they could put it under the fire poor excuse I bet if I use the thermometer it wouldn't even reach 100° waitress was a bozo I was supposed to have three sides but I let my friend have one of my sides and that was a salad nowhere in the menu or anything posted says at Up charge so I had to pay four dollars extra and then he took away one of my sides which is not cool with me. Then we ordered Coca-Cola cake , which they are famous for and a little bit of ice cream could they afford it it was the smallest scoop of ice cream I've ever seen the cake was stale you could tell it was sitting out for a while because it was crusty and yet they still wanted to charge me almost 6 dollars. It's been years since we've eaten here, then it was during COVID and our options were take home or outside. Today we eat inside. We walked into a building with an abundance of antiques on the walls, nostalgic sodas and candy treats - and we hadn't gotten to the restaurant portion yet. They'd just opened so there was plenty of room to sit. Menus and drinks came quickly. Ordered and now a short wait for it to come out. Old Timer's Breakfast (2 eggs over easy, thick cut bacon and biscuits & gravy) and Bacon & Egg Hash Brown Casserole. Eggs came out as ordered - bacon however was not thick cut as advertised. It was a regular cut. Biscuits were fluffy & gravy had good flavor. The casserole was excellent - bacon was thick cut, onion straws added flavor & it was loaded with cheese. Noticed after eating a drumstick that the fried chicken we ordered was raw and undercooked. We were completely disgusted and could not complete finish our meals. When we called to speak to the manager he was extremely rude, never apologized, and then asked us to bring in the chicken to show him. After asking why this was necessary, he dismissed us and told us he would only offer us a credit of $7, on a $44.60 ticket. I asked if he would eat undercooked chicken and he said yes he would, I do not and will not trust a restaurant manager who would eat raw chicken as this means he's OK serving this to people. We should have just walked away, when waitress initially came to our table. They were out of numerous food items on a Friday night at 6pm. Including hash brown potato casserole, chicken & dumplings, dumplings only, carrots, mashed potatoes, and soup. We should have just paid for our drinks and left. We've been traveling across the country for the last week, staying at Cracker Barrel's every evening and having breakfast every morning. It has been the greatest experience and we've been telling everyone what a great experience it's been being able to rely on Cracker Barrel's that are so prevalent throughout the country. This was the first Cracker Barrel (and we're nearly clear across the country from Philadelphia to Albuquerque), where they made us move because they said they just don't like Cracker Barrel's policy of welcoming RVing families- Even though it is a Cracker Barrel's policy. It's not like we are sleeping in our car, we have a brand new beautifully converted 60 passenger school bus. We went inside to talk to management to verify the security guard kicking us out, because Cracker Barrel's website nationally, just six days ago said they are glad to welcome RVing families on a post . Management refused to let us stay after going inside to ask and explaining we had breakfast plans for the morning at this location with friends. They make us move (husband and wife and our newborn) across town at 9 o'clock at night when the Cracker Barrel was already closing! Literally did not want our patronage in the morning. To make matters worse they had RV parking in the back of the building! We are disappointed and very frustrated and it's definitely not a good customer service standpoint for this location to not honor a policy of their national chain. read more

Everyone that ordered and parked, got their food. 6 employees came to ask me for my name until I finally refused to give it to them.
