this used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but it's not the same as it was not sure if it's just the location, not friendly at all, especially the cashier upfront sharon

Arriving late and leaving early, I did not have the opportunity to enjoy a meal this time at the Cracker Barrel. But the Cracker Barrel completely supports the RVers and so I owe them a breakfast! Yes, RVs are allowed to use the Cracker Barrel parking lot for overnight parking. And if you're one of those people, I just ask that you please be respectful of the space. Leave it better than when you arrived. [Review 20555 overall - 93 in Indiana - 1536 of 2023.]

This isn't about the physical store itself, but Cracker Barrel's delivery service: Pancake Kitchen. Usually I'm not a fan of the restaurant, anyway, but wanted to give their pancakes a go. My food was delivered earlier than expected, but looked like a mess. Unknown if this was a production error or happened during delivery. The delivery bag was sealed and my items were all upside down. When I opened the bag, there was a cup of whipped cream that was deflated. My pancakes were smooshed. Absolutely not worth it. The taste didn't even make up for it being a mess. I also ordered a caramel latte that tasted like a normal cup of coffee. No stopper on the coffee so someone could have easily drank from the cup. Not to mention, easier to get cold. Unhappy with flavor, packaging, presentation, and cost.

What can I say it is Cracker Barrel. Same as all the others. Food pretty good. Easy to get to from freeway. And better than fast food or dennys. I like Mommas. And get eggs bacon and pecan pancakes. Slightly noisy. It feels like a dennys or ihop with an American pulse. Nothing special but worth a stop on your journeys. Service was great!!

We have been eating at Cracker Barrels for years but lately after their menu changes it seems the quality of the food is starting to slip. My catfish was not as good as I am used to. I ordered the Steamed Broccoli and it was far from steamed. It was hard; closer to raw than steamed. But the other side of corn was okay. My wife had the Baked Cheddar Broccoli Chicken and she said she did not like it at all. It was greasy and had no flavor. The broccoli was over cooked to the point it was mushy and unidentifiable. When the kids were little, I tried to avoid Cracker Barrel because of the store. Every time we came to a Cracker Barrel we could not get through the store without buying something. The same was true for this visit. The wife says stay away from the regular items and look for the clearance rack. Yes there is a clearance rack. I just don't like this "store" setup to get into the dining room. It's too "tourist trap." The sink was out of order in the men's restroom. But there was a nice fragrance inside and just outside the doors of the restrooms. I am giving them three stars because their customer service is still better than average. We were well attended and seated promptly plus paying was good.

Cracker Barrel isn't exactly on my top Go-To places to choose from, but after a long day of travel and a grumbly tummy- you take what you can get. Our server must've also had a long day. She didn't seem "on top of her game"... but we could tell it was the end of her night and she kept a good, laughable attitude about it all, that we weren't even bothered. Aside from the usual "creepy grandparents' barn" theme that every CB has... the food hit the mark that was needed. I wasn't wow'ed or letdown, so I guess that's good, amirite? We were honestly just thankful to grab a warm meal that wasn't drive-thru. And although our server was having a tough time- she still managed to make us laugh, and everyone knows that's all I ever need (aside from food, water and air). Shoutout CB, for the warm meal and awkward barn-house decor.

This place has become something of an American staple. If you are traveling through Americana by way or car, this is a cultural jackpot. A place to sit for s meal and feast your eyes, if not your tastebuds... Here you will find some staple dishes like pancakes, or biscuits and gravy, fried eggs and hashbrowns, but don't get too excited because like many things in America that get too big to maintain quality over quantities, this place is no exception. The food is average at best, but will fill you up if satisfying hunger is your main concern. Don't come here if you truly want a quality tasty meal that is like home cooking, because it isn't that. Its similar to an IHOP or a Denny's in terms of quality, but it has that decor that can keep you entertained unlike those two places. Additionally, there is a little game at all the tables, as well as a gift shop filled with all the things that you don't need, but think you do, or want to get for your loved ones (if you are a trucker and don't want to get the gifts at a Loves truck stop). Anyway, I'd say to check it out and if you like it then yay for you. It's not my cup of tea, but it may be yours!

Cracker Barrel is so fun! It's a no-frills, family friendly establishment and I love every bit of it. I made sure to go with a Cracker Barrel pro (grew up eating at CB), so I could maximize my experience! We came on a Sunday for the Sunday Homestyle Chicken (two boneless chicken breasts, hand-dipped in our special buttermilk batter, breaded and deep fried to a crispy golden brown in our kitchen) and boiled cabbage (Sunday & Wednesday only!) When I walked in, I was a bit overwhelmed by the store! I had no idea there was that much stuff. But, I was quickly able to scan and see the "hostess stand" sign in the left corner. We were seated with no wait even though the restaurant was pretty packed. The median age had to have been at least 70, which I didn't mind, I actually thought it was precious & added to the "ambience." Service was quick, efficient but friendly! Onto the food: *I love more savory biscuits (which is why I prefer Popeyes over KFC biscuits) and CB's is just PERFECT. Another pro-tip from my friend: you HAVE to ask for the blackberry jam. They won't just give it to you. The blackberry jam on the savory biscuit is a match made in heaven. *I can't get over the breading on the fried chicken. What makes it so fragrant and beautifully crisp? If it's lard, gimme more! Haha The value for this is incredible too. $9.99 for two huge pieces AND two sides? Daaanng. I had plenty of leftovers for dinner the next day! Even though the sweet old ladies though it was my first time in America, that off-putting comment couldn't and didn't take away from a stellar first CB experience! 100/365

So here's how the tap came out: It was a busy Saturday night. Easy to grab a high top, but being over 30 - it's not fun sitting on a bar stool. That's fine. The service - like I said, they were busy. But one of my friends never even got his drink, and he ended up telling the waitress to cancel it because we were already eating our fries. The fries - - 4 dipping sauces equals 5 stars! Love the ability to try different flavors and find your fav. My fav is the pesto aioli because its unique! I give the seasoning 4 stars, and it was a little heavy handed, and kind of overpowered the sauces. Texture was good, some were a lil soggy, overall they were good! I've had the other food at the tap, and always enjoyed myself. Definitely worth a visit - but be prepared if they're super slammed!

For drinks, cocktails (and a few mocktails) and a smaller selection of wine are also available. I wanted to get beer but I was kind of tempted by the cocktails. My first choice was a flight that included a mix of The Tap beers and guest beers, but the waiter came back after taking the order and told me that they could only do flights with their beers but could let me sample the beers I wanted to try, so I did that, and the samples were probably around 2 oz each so I basically got half a flight. After that, I ended up ordering a real flight of their beer. The Tap beers I tried were: Kill the Lights stout (regular and barrel-aged), Tapenator dark lager, Frost Bite winter ale, Nefarious Nectar blonde. Guest beers: Jacob Leinenkugel white mocha stout, Weihanstephaner Hefeweissbier, BrewDog Winter Staycation. Not going to waste space reviewing all of these, but they were all fantastic. I was really grateful that they let me sample so many! And they also have food. The menu isn't huge but does have some variety, and it's not just basic pub food. I had the ahi tuna crunch bowl and it was pretty good! It kind of had the vibe of stuff thrown together in a poke bowl, but it worked and I thought the fish was done really well. Our waiter was wonderful! He was really friendly and just the right amount of attentive. My friend and I stayed for a while talking after we had paid and he didn't rush us out at all. Granted, it was a pretty quiet night. We both really liked the vibe of the place. I would love to be back soon!

GREAT RESTAURANT FOR A WEDDING REHEARSAL DINNER IN BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA…read more================================================== My son and his wife reserved the back room at Farm Bloomington on Friday, June 19, 2026 and it was very nice. Our group of about forty filled the room. My daughter-in-law put some things on the tables which was a nice touch. We had a set menu with appetizers and main course options along with two drink coupons each. The room was very nice, the food was good and the service was great. I would highly recommend booking this room for a large group.

$60-70 Let me tell you what I experienced on 2/13/26…read more We had an OpenTable reservation, and our group traveled to Bloomington (from Carmel) for a play. We tried calling several times throughout the day to notify FARM that we needed to change the reservation because two of our guests were ill and would not be able to join. The restaurant's phone just kept forwarding to voicemail. We arrived at our reservation time and were told that we would be charged via OpenTable for the guests who did not join. When I mentioned the phone issue, the hostess said that it did not matter if we had called today, because the cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance. I did not know they would be ill 24 hours prior to the reservation - but whatever. I was not happy, but did not argue the issue. We were seated, only to find that there was a prefix "Valentine's Day Menu". We thought that was interesting because we had researched the website & menu before the evening, and there was no mention of this menu being the only option for Friday (2/13) night. Even the menu PDF says "Valentine's Day" - there were signs throughout the restaurant noting "Valentine's Day Menu". The server also mentioned that many other patrons were upset. The items on the menu were also priced far higher than the regular menu. So, we were excited to try FARM, arrived to a very sassy attitude (from the host) about the party size, noting that I was going to be charged. Getting to the table to see a modified menu, whose prices were jacked up. The (very sweet) server validated our feelings and confirmed that other patrons were upset, too. We finally just decided to leave. On the way out, the "sassy" host was snarky and mentioned that we would likely be charged again for the remaining guests leaving and not eating. I have pictures of the signs, and screenshots of the website - and I dare FARM to charge me for their false advertising. At least note the website, signage, and OpenTable if you are following modified menus or processes, and train your team better!! We were thrilled to try FARM, and left saying that we would NEVER go back. So disappointed :(
