    Grilled Sirloin Steak*
    Kerstin T.

If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would. Service was so slow. It took over an hour to get our food and then we did everything was dry and bland. I ordered a sirloin steak and asked for it Medium. The first steak I got was WELL done. Like hard as a rock. I couldn't even cut through without shaking the entire table. I decided to send it back and then the second steak I got was cooked for 0.1 seconds and was completely RAW on the inside. Our server even said "omg I'm so sorry, that steak is still mooing" Our server was nice and very apologetic so this review or only based on their food. Cute restaurant but the food is less than mediocre. I won't be coming back.

We always forget about CB until we think, "Hey! Let's go to Cracker Barrel". We came on a mid week during the Christmas holiday and it was busy. They weren't sitting the whole restaurant, so there was a 40 minute wait for a party of four. We took that time to walk the shop part of the restaurant: clothes, home decor and more!!! We took some time to play checkers outside on the porch in their rocking chairs. We were finally called to our table yet service was a little all over the place but once we got our drinks and food order in, we were given a basket of biscuits (no corn bread). Food came out shortly after and it was hot and fresh. Grandpa's Country breakfast $10.50, Mama's pancake plate $8.99 and kids chicken tenders and pancakes. Food was very good and cheap for what we got! We had fun and food was good just wish it wasn't so busy and there was enough staff to accommodate.

The food was good. It wasn't stellar by any means. They were constantly running out of items on the menu. They kept room in between tables and all the employees wore masks. After we placed our order the server had to come back several times to change the order because they were out of multiple things. They were out of hashbrown casserole, biscuits, soup and a few other staple menu items. They brought buttered thick wheat toast instead of biscuits. The service was average and I didn't have to ask for refills. The reason for the low rating is: 1. They had the food they just didn't want to cook more at the current time. 2. I had to pay by cash as I didn't trust them with my credit card info because last time I used it here I had to report it stolen. I had the card in my possession, but someone was using it to order food from the restaurant and stuff from the internet. ***Please watch your statements if you use any card here!*** The funny thing was that they did it about a week after we were there. I know it was from here because I didn't use my card anywhere else since being there. I rarely use that card for anything. I caught the fraud when I noticed several transactions from the same place over a month and then checked the history and found other items also. Update: Service sucks...

Awesome experience! Service: Leah was our server and did a great job. Sweet, friendly and quick. Took excellent care of us. Food: I always get pancakes. I've tried a lot in my time but these are my favorite. Hubby had double meat breakfast and the turkey sausage was delicious. Oh yeah, I always taste some of what he's eating so I can have small portions. You get to a ton of food here. Ambience: Eclectic! Lots of cool signs, decorations and trinkets. Great place to find unique gifts. Many toys and clothes for kids. If you're into Christmas, HEAVEN! Trees, ornaments, decor and more! Ask me anything about Cracker Barrel. I'm a hard core regular.

Good sized portions and well-priced. They have breakfast all day as well. I got the Momma's french toast with the country peach but there was a certain aftertaste which I did not enjoy. The service was great. They also gave us corn bread and biscuits. They had cholula hot sauce, which was a plus for me!

I…read moreloved the atmosphere and had a great time at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. The bartender and drinks were amazing, and the bacon appetizer was incredible! We enjoyed the Pearberry which was light and delicious, as well as the Japanese Old Fashioned which my partner thoroughly enjoyed. Although the price for bacon seemed hefty, it's almost a slab instead of slice of bacon. It's a solid portion and very thick and deliciously coated in a sticky sweet sauce that we enjoyed. We were having a great time and were in great spirits but it took a turn once we were seated for the dining portion of the experience.. I think our experience came from the person manning the meats, who in our opinion doesn't know proper temp checks. We ordered multiple filets, ribeyes, and a tomahawk at our table of 5 and every single one was under. We asked for medium and medium rare throughout our table, but they all arrived severely underdone. The tomahawk was the biggest disappointment, when you pay a hefty price, you expect better results.. but it was raw, because rare doesn't even really describe it. We are not the type to make a fuss, so we just ate our steaks and asked for sauce to make them palatable. The flavor was there but it was very subtle, it could used a bit more seasoning. We relied heavily on the sides and our prior experience at the bar to keep spirits up. The reason this review isn't worse is because regardless of our dining experience, our bar experience was superior and I'd go back strictly for that. I would try it again to see if the cook has gotten better but not for a while.

The other staff we encountered were all very friendly. The owners really need to investigate and solve the fly problem. They were everywhere (and this is inside). That went very well so we wanted to check out the space and food at Versailles as a possible wedding venue. Walking through the hotel there were no greetings from concierge. The host standing at a stand in the middle of the room was weird and probably uncomfortable for the actual host. She was also the only "professional" one there during our visit. Wait staff was not put together at all, as well as the possible person in charge. I'm talking sloppy, questionable hygiene, and under the influence of somethings. My uncle is currently in the ICU at a nearby hospital, and my aunt has basically been running on fumes and hospital coffee. We convinced her to step away for a bit, get a real meal, and sit with family without the constant beeping of machines in the background. Close enough to feel comfortable, but just far enough to breathe. Enter LongHorn on a Saturday night, which apparently doubled as prom headquarters. The place was packed with teenagers in suits and dresses looking like they just discovered cologne for the first time. The wait was about 45 minutes, but honestly it worked in our favor. It gave us time to sit, talk, and let my aunt decompress a little. By the time our table was ready, she looked like a human again instead of someone running on pure adrenaline. Once seated, the food did not disappoint. The complimentary bread showed up warm and dangerous because you know you are about to ruin your appetite but you do it anyway. The fried onion starter disappeared faster than prom dates after curfew. We had a full spread of steak, shrimp, and chicken and everything hit exactly the way it needed to. No complaints, no notes, just solid, comforting food done right. Our waiter was attentive without hovering, which is a rare skill. Drinks stayed filled, food came out on point, and we never had to flag anyone down. The restaurant had a lively energy, but somehow it never felt overwhelming. For a couple of hours, we were able to laugh, eat well, and give my aunt a break from a really heavy situation. That alone makes this place worth five stars. The great food and service just sealed it. LongHorn delivered more than a meal tonight. It gave us a moment we really needed.

I was delayed and arrived the next day -- only to be told the sunglasses were now missing. No one, including the manager on duty, had any explanation for how they suddenly disappeared after being confirmed safe the day before. They offered zero accountability and basically shrugged it off. They said they would "look into it" and get back to me. That never happened. I followed up with a voicemail expecting at least basic professionalism and customer service from a national chain like LongHorn. Still nothing. No call back, no apology, no offer to make it right. It's painfully obvious that one of their employees helped themselves to my property and management simply doesn't care. For a place that charges premium prices for steak, you'd think they could manage basic honesty and responsibility for items left behind. Instead they've shown complete disregard for their customers. If you care about your personal property, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This location has lost all my trust and I will never be back. Consider this your warning.
