Our family just ate and the food was brought to the table cold, the server was handing the food to us shoved it in our face and not putting on the table. The biscuits were completely raw, drink orders would get forgotten and the food came out 1/2 hours later. The utensils were dirty and when asked for a fresh set they took 30 minutes to bring them. What has happened to this location? It used to be solid but today, it hit an all time low. We were seated at a 2 top behind an end wall. Our server took our order for food and drinks. 25 minutes to get the drinks. Food was another 30 minutes. No bread was ever brought to the table. Asked the food server, she said " ask your waitress ". We did and she said it was supposed to come out with the food.... Whatever. Sides were cold and obviously plated while waiting on the chicken to cook as it was too hot to eat safely. A small saucer arrived while we were finishing. It contained 1 biscuit and 1 cornbread muffin along with 8 pats of butter. No manager in sight. Don't complain to the cashier because they don't care either! read more

They are always selling some weird stuff at the Cracker Barrel general store... rocking chairs, candies, cookies, sodas, plates, and stuff like that. However, inside the restaurant is some of the best Southern cooking I've had (especially from a chain restaurant!). Some of my favs are: Fried Catfish Chicken Fried Chicken Turnip Greens (super flavorful with chunks of ham!!!) Macaroni n Cheese Fresh Lemonade Sweet Tea (especially when it's mixed with lemonade!) Fried Okra - sometimes it's kinda dry tho. =( Seriously, I love their Turnip Greens. I've never had better greens anywhere. Anywhere!!! It's like the Southern version of Hawaiian Lau Lau (soft, succulent pork wrapped in taro leaves)... Cracker Barrel's turnip greens are soaking in this effing DELICIOUS broth made from ham.... damnnnnn... soooo good. I wish I could have some right now, but I'm already back home in Los Angeles! Dammit!!! I went here 2 days in a row for lunch while we were in town for Formula Drift at Road Atlanta. Long wait times - even on slow nites. Our name has been over looked several times after checking in. They blame it on the app. Lots of staff but they seems very disorganized even during slow times. Don't bother with pick-up orders. We've tried several times and they can't seem to get it right. The latest was on 5/9. We picked up our order at 2:30pm and when we arrived at my mother's house we found that out of the 4 meals there were 3 vegetables missing and no biscuits or corn bread. Though they did send a survey to my email at 8am the next day but when I went to fill it out at 9am it said it had timed out. Even their emails have something missing . smh read more

My mother and I went to have dinner at your Braselton location. We were told our wait time would be about 50 minutes. An hour had passed by and we were still waiting to be seated. I asked the hostess how much longer would it be before we were seated. She said, their running behind in the Kitchen, and might be another hour before we can seat you. We were very pissed off and left. We went across the street to the Mexican restaurant and we were waited in very promptly. Your restaurant has really gone downhill in the past month or so. read more

The location is pretty Good! The service was great, and the food was great. I've never notice before that they have a healthy option section on the menu. That's great because I've been watching what I've been eating lately. The turkey sausage was great that I didn't even notice it was turkey. Food was fresh and hot as always. One of the nastiest Cracker Barrel's I've ever eaten from before. I ended up throwing my food in the garbage. I ordered all veggies which was turnip greens and veggie soup. The soup was like water and tomatoes with a few green beans. I Have no idea what kind of greens I was served. They were no longer green but black looking with NO seasoning but plenty of some sort of oil. I played basketball with the food as I threw it in the trash. It's a no for me. My husband got pancakes and they didn't look big and fluffy like they normally do. They weren't good. I try to patronize local business but I just can't throw money out the window. We eat at this location every Monday and I have to say out of all of my Cracker Barrel experiences this location is one of the best in the country. The staff is always friendly, Wanda is one our favorites she has been at this location since it opened. The restaurant is always clean, the restroom is always clean as well. The food is alway prepared well and in a timely manner. I love the breakfast, the portions are generous you will not leave hungry. The fried turkey is probably my favorite lunch plate, I usually get it with carrots and green bean casserole. If you are traveling on interstate 85 and need a nice clean place to sit a while or need a restroom break this location is a good place to stop. read more

We don't go often but I really like this Cracker Barrel. We are always seated quickly and the service is fast and attentive. We only have breakfast here. The blueberry pancakes, oatmeal and biscuits are always hot and fresh. There are really no other breakfast options nearby except for Waffle House, but I'd rather come here any day. If your from the South then you will instantly recognize Cracker Barrel as good ole home cooking. It is really hard to say what is the best, because it is all so good. Another great thing is you can get breakfast anytime! Try the Country Boy breakfast, but come hungry. The store portion is neat to browse around. Placed a to-go order and finally got it ready 40 minutes after it said it should be. But not before we had to go in, and when we did the woman at the counter couldn't find where we placed our order (?) and then when assistance was called, the "worker" Jake asked us what the problem was. When we said that we had been waiting a long time for our curbside order he said to us "Well, then I'm working on it" and walked away before we could even say anything. Didn't get our name or say anything else. And to make it better, while we were inside 7 people walked out because no one had waited on them for more than 20 minutes. I woke up on a Tuesday morning, and I started to get ready for my nine thirty class. I had just left my neighborhood when I got a call from my mother: "Let's go get breakfast at Cracker Barrel", she said. I was already early, so why not? Cracker barrel is not very far from my house, so I was there in less than five minutes. My experiences with Cracker Barrel are always amazing, they have great service, accommodate to guest needs and present themselves well. I always leave feeling satisfied. I pulled into the parking lot and found the perfect spot right in the front of the restaurant. I got out of my car and found my mom was waiting for me on one of the many rocking chairs they have lining the front porch. They have checkerboards outside to occupy you while you wait on a table, which to me is a great touch. We walked in together and were greeted by a hostess who had a "rising star" and seemed very tired but put a smile on her face seated us immediately. At first, we were seated at a small table by a wall and my mother asked if we could move to a bigger table. There were only about ten other people in the entire restaurant, so getting another table was not a problem. Within five minutes a waitress came to our table, she had two stars on her apron and the biggest smile on her face. She kind of scared me, I mean who is that happy this early in the morning. We both ordered sweet tea. She brought our drinks out after a few minutes and proceeded to take our order. My mom was being kind of complicated with her order, but the waitress didn't seem annoyed with her. I ordered "Momma's French Toast" with bacon. About ten to fifteen minutes later our food was brought to our table by a different person that was not our waitress, she must have been busy. Our waitress later came by and filled our glasses of sweet tea, making sure they stayed full. She was always on top of making sure that we were okay, maybe even checking on us a little too much. It seemed as if we were her only table so this may have been a part of the reason, she was so attentive. After about fifteen more minutes my mom and I were finishing up and the waitress laid down the check and made sure we knew there was no rush. We sat there for a few more minutes before we made our way into the retail area of the store. We browsed around the store and my mom picked up a few things. The lady who was behind the register had a couple more stars and an even bigger smile than the waitress. She asked us if we enjoyed our meals and we told her we did. She continued a small conversation with us and tried to talk us into buying some candies and small trinkets. We ended up walking to our cars with two large brown bags full of stuff feeling very satisfied with our decision to come to the Cracker Barrel that morning. Overall, I highly recommend Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. All the employees were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They accommodated to our every need and seemed very happy to do so. Food was good, as always. Server was horrible. Very slow and forgetful. She would go to get something be gone what seemed like forever. We ordered dessert and milk. Got the dessert, no milk. Picture it... Easter Sunday... I want to get a good meal... Decide to get some food from the local Cracker Barrel. I place a to-go order. I arrive to pick it up and all is well... BUT WHEN I GET HOME! That is when things started to become a little "off." I open up my Apple BBQ Chicken and I have no apples. Because I wanted it to be a good day, I just tossed it over my shoulder (figuratively, not literally). I start to dive into the MAC & CHEESE, and I hear a large CRUNCH and a sharp pain go through the top of my mouth. I spit out my mouth full and what do I find? A large piece of GLASS! Needless to say, I am a little mad by now. I have no apples on my chicken.. and now I have a chipped tooth... and NOW I am scared to eat my MAC & Cheese! It was a ordeal . Went in around 12:45 left at 3:00. I will never eat there again. We were going to walk out because they would not seat us after telling us it would be 20 minutes and it was 40 minutes before telling a manager that they keep on placing everyone after us that walked in . Went for dinner about 6 p.m. They had a very very short wait. It took a couple minutes for the server to get there, but when she did she was very kind. Husband ordered the chicken BLT with fries, and I got the barbecue chicken with broccoli and a side salad. The side salad came out first, but had a little friend with it after I had already had about half a dozen bites. I will post the video of the tiny bug in my salad. I told the nearest server and she took the salad. She addressed it to a manager which got a secondary manager Michael involved. Michael asked if there was anything that they could do, and he apologized for the situation and said that he would throw out the lettuce batch that my salad came from. When we receive the bill I got the biggest shock; both of our meals were still on the bill!! Honestly had it not been for the full bill coming to our table and my husband graciously paying it, I would not have posted this on Yelp. I usually go shopping after the meal and get a little something, but I told myself this time since management did not care enough for their customers to take care of one meal, I would not be buying anything today and probably for a while. read more

Worst service ever! While the waitress was nice the food came out COLD! They raised their prices, reduced their portion and reduced their quality! Will not be back to this location and will be a while before I go back to Cracker Barrel in general, used to be a big fan too. Their excuse was they were waiting on the biscuits but there needs to at least put food on a warmer. Cold hash browns is not tasty! Grits were cold too and so was the bacon and eggs.
