This little country restaurant is so stinking cute and I love how they have a little shop which really sets it apart from other restaurants

Ordered meals for a family of 4 on Cracker Barrel's website Sunday 8/9/26 for 7:40 pm delivery to house. Order never came, received text that DoorDash was cancelling the order because driver "experienced an unexpected issue during the delivery." Now we are ordering Domino's, at least we can count on them to deliver quickly and efficiently. Still, we should either have our money refunded or given a gift card for that amount since we never received our food at all. No one answered our texts from DoorDash after trying several times last night. read more

This is just another typical Cracker Barrel. Went there to grab a very late breakfast with my friends; I ended up ordering lunch: chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Food is completely average, not bad but definitely not special. Wait time was about 30 min on a Sunday around 2pm. Service also pretty average. They credit me $1.80 this Cracker Barrel has gone down in quality and up in price........ if you're too stupid to cook an egg you should not be working there.... they don't even give you bottled syrup anymore. Not really a Cracker a Barrel fan. This is the first time I have been to the restaurant in years. Country cooking is not usually healthy. I ordered a biscuit with gravy and hash browns. One would think at 10:15 a.m. the food would still be fresh, piping hot and delicious. The biscuits were not satisfying, they were cold and hard. It must had been a bad day in the kitchen. The gravy was also cold and had a gross layer of stiffness on top. The hash browns were also cold and had hard bits in them. Nothing I had was appetizing and I left 75% of what I ordered in the table. I will say my breakfast mate liked her meal which was eggs and steak. When I went to check out no staff member was available or at the counter and I had to wait on someone to find a checkout clerk. We went there this evening (Thursday, 6/25) and was seated. It wasn't busy. We waited 32 minutes and wasn't waited on. There were a couple servers who saw us there, even though they sat us in the back. We got up and left. On the way out we had to wait several minutes to let the host know we were leaving. The host got the manager, and the manager said they could seat us again, but otherwise could have cared less. The Alpharetta location just closed. Is the Cumming location closing as well? read more

Too bad I can't give a no star rating. Went for dinner around 5:30pm for their Thursday night turkey special. First asked for a flavored iced tea and told they only had peach flavored. So ordered unsweetened. Then looked at the menu and right there was wild berry flavored tea as their seasonal special. Ordered the Thursday turkey dinner special, asked for soup and was told they had no soup. After order was put in, several minutes later someone comes out (manager?) and said they just sold out of their turkey. Mind you this is their daily special and it was only 5:30. Walked out. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. Maybe Cracker Barrel's CEO should focus on the food experience and not on changing the sign or restaurant ambiance. We ate at Cracker Barrel and had Ryan as our server, and he was hands down the best server I've ever had--not just at Cracker Barrel, but anywhere. From the moment he greeted us, Ryan was friendly, attentive, and genuinely upbeat. He knew the menu inside and out, made great recommendations, and checked on us just the right amount. Our drinks were never empty, the food came out perfectly, and everything ran smoothly thanks to him. What really stood out was how he made us feel welcome and taken care of without ever seeming rushed or fake. It's rare to get service that feels both professional and truly kind, but Ryan nailed it. Should spend much more time with food quality than modernizing the sign & interior of restaurants. People who go to CB want GOOD FOOD first & foremost!!!! Need a real chef in Cumming & Alpharetta. Have loved CB a very long time & these two locations had always had good food -- not any more & not for a while. Last visit was in Cumming. Food was awful, undercooked & sparsely seasoned grilled lemon pepper trout f-- green beans were right out of the can, no seasoning; no slice of lemon. Muffins still ok. We eat at a lot of different Cracker Barell. So we went for my birthday while we were RVing but the staff never said anything when I repeatedly said it was my birthday. The floors in the store park were super sticky and looked like they were covered with glitter glue. I walked out with merchandise as always. It cannot happen again, not to us or to any other family navigating disability with dignity and respect which is protected under the (ADA) Americans with Disability Act. Emotional Impact on My Grandson: What should have been a joyful Fourth of July breakfast became a deeply distressing experience for a teenager simply trying to get his request for Fourth of July bacon. Staff chose to not involve a manager or even permit me to finish a sentence explaining profound autism.Lack of Training in Disability Awareness: Staff were dismissive, inflexible, and at times outright rude. No effort was made to understand or support a profoundly autistic customer Summary of Concerns: Emotional Impact on My Grandson: What should have been a joyful Fourth of July breakfast became a deeply distressing experience for a teenager simply trying to get his request for Fourth of July bacon. Bad food , bad service! We have not been here for a long time, came back in and was very disappointed. Won't be back!

Table was at the entrance to the restaurant and table and chairs were two feet out into the entrance so I had no place to set my pocketbook! Jane our waitress threw some napkin on the table and said I will be back! 5 mins or longer later she comes over puts more napkins down and walks away! Finally she comes and takes our order and everyone else is getting their food we are still waiting for coffee! After over a half an hour or more our food comes out ( eggs are cold) but not going to send back because we have a baby and everyone is hungry! Ask for apple butter and had to ask twice before we finally got it and was almost done with breakfast! Jane never asked if we want ed more coffee or how food was! Jane was not quick or helpful during our visit! Very disappointed in the whole experience in this Cracker Barrel! Will have to try other ones in the area since I just moved here! So, it's hard to believe that I'm giving a bad review for a Cracker Barrel. I've been to many through the years and this was the absolute worst experience I've had at any location. The food took forever, we got one biscuit and one cornbread muffin. We got attitude from another server when we were getting ready to leave due to the wait. When the food finally came, I was asked if everything was ok, and then told that they were short staffed. I stated that it would have been nice to know this, to which our server replied, "I did tell you." (Which she had not). I told her no you didn't and neither did anyone else. Wish that I had read the reviews here before going. I used to love Cracker Barrel and was looking forward to a nice breakfast after returning from the airy this morning. The place was not busy at all which should have been a warning. I ordered the standard eggs, bacon, and hash browns and it came out quickly. Unfortunately the eggs were completely cold and the rest was only warm, including the coffee (and even the restaurant was uncomfortably cold too). What ever happened to CB? Really disappointed in the organization of the "Thanksgiving" line this year. I am just thinking how "Chic Fil-A" would have handled this "problem" without wasting customer time. Its 9pm, we have been waiting in line since 6:15pm. I am so hungry, cold, and two restless loud kids who are starting to become impatient after waiting for 3 hours in line. I understand the shortage of employees. We stopped there between doctors appt. Had a little time to kill so we had lunch here. In my numerous times I have visited Cracker Barrel and in light of the reduced work force lately, I have yet to be disappointed. Service was slow but they were truly doing their best. I had the lunch special. You could choose two of the four choices, side salad topped with chicken, a loaded baked potato, a cup of soup and a baked sweet potato. I chose the salad and the loaded baked potato. Very filling salad with an abundance of grilled chicken and the baked potato had a lot of bacon, green onion and melted cheddar cheese. It was all very good. Our server Christina was awesome. She checked back with us several time to see if we need anything. Very good server. 5 stars folks. Good job! read more

This CB is always busy, but the service is inconsistent. Today was no exception. Our waitress took our orders & brought out tea. She was busy helping to serve a table of 10 or 11, so I gave up on a refill while waiting for our food. Another person delivered our food, & I should have taken a pic! My chicken and dumplings was literally 2 cups of broth +2 bits of chicken~with 3 or 4 blobs of noodle. I'm not kidding--when it came you saw nothing BUT broth. In hindsight, I should have called the waitress over, but she was pretty overwhelmed w/the big table. I blame the kitchen staff for this "serving," though; it was pitiful.
