Come here all the time for lunch all the time. Great lunch specials, good portions, everything is always good and fresh.

The fit was fast fresh and delicious! The sangria was perfection and ridiculously good! The service was quick and so very pleasant. The ambiance is laid back and casual. I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch date.

Honestly, we had a great experience overall when stopping in for a late lunch while running errands the other day. The bread is always on point! So so good, and fresh! The strawberry salad sounded delicious, but I wanted salmon instead of chicken. Our waitress was great and inquired as to the cost to substitute, and was able to make it happen! My salad was the shining star of the meal. My husband loved it, and 100% wanted to steal my meal. This says a lot considering he got a steak. The fruit and the dressing paired with the salmon so well. It was the perfectly fresh lunch I was wanting. On to the steak. It was cooked properly which is always a first thing to check for. Aside from that, my husband felt it was overly salty. I'm inclined to agree after trying it. The mashed potatoes were delicious! 10/10 recommend. Our server was delightful and answered all of our questions. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and we were seated quickly. We left with full bellies and ready to finish our errands so it was a most successful lunch.

I can't complain, really. I am extremely picky about my steak. Even though I specifically asked for a thicker cut for my steak, was done nicely. My son got the Parmesan Crusted Chicken and baked Sweet Potato and and said they were wonderful. My husband had Salmon Over Rice and Crispy Brussels and also enjoyed them. Our French Onion Soup had more cheese than soup, but tasted great as usual. I should ask for less cheese next time. Service was great because we came early, but with that are more unhappy small children, so it was a different kind of loud. It's getting busy now that we are done.

Don't bother ordering to go; It took them 35 minutes to make 2 orders of spicy chicken bites, a small rare steak, and a large medium rare steak. They forgot the extra things I asked for in my order, and when they came out with the second order, we had told them what we were missing and all they said was "Okay" and walked away. They never came back out. We went inside and still had to wait 5 minutes to talk to someone AGAIN about what we were missing. It would have been faster to eat in, and our food wouldn't be getting cold after waiting 45 minutes after we placed it to pick it up. Maybe the long horn's by the halcyon and dine-in isn't bad, but save your money from getting to go food from here (a little side note; i am not sure if they shrunk the portions of the spicy chicken bites, but i really do think that they normally give more than what i got; i also can't prove that though so i didn't want to include it in the main review)

The lunch chicken salad has about 40 grams of chicken, and when I asked the server she just played dumb.

My husband and I stopped on Wednesday to grab lunch. We were seated immediately. Our waitress came and introduced herself and got our drink order. I got the read on her right away. Her name was Mandy and I knew what kind of waitress she was and I wasn't wrong. She was upfront and on it. She never missed a beat nor did her skills and can-do attitude disappoint. Mandy was a pleasure to deal with and the best we've dealt with in a very long time. I ordered the sirloin salad and soup combo. I got the French onion soup. Everything was excellent. I didn't really care for the blue cheese crumbles iron my salad but Mandy asked if I was okay with it and I did say yes. But in hindsight, I would do ranch now. The French onion soup was extremely salty. I like salt but this was over the top should you be one to be rather conservative on your sodium intake. I brought the leftover soup home, mixed a little water with it and it was perfect. The salad was wonderful. The steak was hot and seasoned well on top of my salad. My husband got the cheeseburger and fries and it was huge. He loved it. We also got the tonion as an appetizer. It was massive, not greasy, hot and flavorful. We'll definitely return.

Andrina was very attentive and gave great recommendations. Give her a raise lol We started with the Crab Fried Mac n Cheese and it was not what we anticipated but we enjoyed it. (Hint: get the house made Ranchero sauce.) For our mains we got the Shroom and Swiss Burger (bae) and the biscuits and gravy with a fried egg. Everything was hot and flavorful and the biscuits are perfectly described in the menu. Definitely a place we'll be back to when we have to Rendezvous on a weekend. lol #iykyk (And yes, I need to do a better job of taking photos of my food.)

There were nine of us--not exactly a tiny table, but hardly the kind of group that should throw a restaurant into chaos. To be fair, we did wait for two people in our party before ordering food. It was probably 20-30 minutes, and we made it very clear to our server that we were waiting. We also weren't just camping out at the table. We started with drinks while we waited, so the restaurant was already making money from our table before the kitchen ever had to cook a single thing. Once everyone arrived, we placed one order together. No staggered tickets, no special requests, no unnecessary complications. The thing is... the restaurant was practically empty. If anything, I would've thought they'd be happy to have a table of nine on a slow brunch. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience. Once we finally ordered, it was another 30-plus minutes before much of anything happened. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she also wasn't particularly interested in us being there. She checked the boxes, but just barely. It felt less like hospitality and more like someone waiting for the end of their shift. What made the whole experience even stranger was looking around the restaurant. It wasn't busy, yet several employees seemed to be standing around talking while we sat waiting. During the hour or two we were there, I think only a couple of other parties came through the door. At one point there were two hostesses managing what amounted to a trickle of guests while tables that were already seated waited on drinks, food, and attention. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than I could see, but from where we were sitting, it felt less like they needed more people and more like they needed to use the people they already had a little better. Then came the mimosas. These were less mimosas and more "suggestions of citrus." It was basically champagne with a couple thoughts of orange juice. At one point we had to ask for more orange juice just to get it to the legally recognized definition of a mimosa. They tasted like champagne that heard flavored sparkling water was popular and decided to reinvent itself. There was a whole lot of "mim" and not much "osa." At nearly $14 each, I expected something a little more festive and a little less... chemistry experiment. For food, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Benny: two biscuits, fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, Cholula hollandaise, and fresh fruit. On paper, that's a fantastic brunch. In reality, it was aggressively average. Nothing was quite hot enough. The biscuits had crossed that invisible line between baked and overbaked, where every bite makes you wonder if they're fresh or just committed to the bit. The whole dish felt like it had spent just a few too many minutes waiting for someone to remember it existed. And then there was the fruit. You know the kind of fruit bowl where every piece somehow tastes exactly the same because it's been sitting in the same juice for hours? That's what this was. Cheap melon, tired grapes, and enough pooled juice to ensure every bite shared the same identity crisis. To top it all off, the Benny was around $18, and the mimosas were pushing $14 each. I'm not going to call it a scam because words have meanings. Nobody tricked us. The prices were right there on the menu. We knew exactly what we were doing. We just expected the experience to justify it. On the bright side, the restaurant looks like it was designed by someone who has never met food, but has definitely met Pinterest. And honestly, it shows. Modern farmhouse, soft lighting, curated everything--it nails the aesthetic. Which is great, because you'll have plenty to look at while everything else catches up. It's funny how common this is now: it's easier than ever to make something look finished. You can polish the surface until it feels complete, even when the inside still isn't. Anyway--great aesthetics. The rest feels like it's still figuring itself out.

Gray in the bar set the tone right away with a great round of drinks and friendly service. Once we were seated, Kevin took over as our server and absolutely delivered. Personable, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever hovering -- he made the night easy for all of us. Our guests came in from Vinings and Brookhaven and were blown away by the quality of the food and the ambiance. We started with the house‑special tartare, warm homemade rolls, incredible crab cakes, salads, and octopus -- every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The entrées were just as impressive. Our table had ribeyes, filets, pork chops, and scallops, and every plate was cooked perfectly. The sides were standouts too, especially the roasted carrots and the homemade gnocchi -- absolutely phenomenal. I've lived in Cumming since 2021 but never thought there would be a steakhouse there like this one! We were able to get a table for the 8 of us on the morning of, and was very excited since it was only a 7 mile drive from Windermere. Parking is a breeze, it's on the side of a strip mall on the corner of Meadow and Atlanta Hwy. It's beautiful inside. Lights were dimmed but not so much you can't see the menu or your fellow diners. Christopher was our server and he was really helpful, thorough, pleasant and absolutely friendly. My brother basically took stock of the menu and I ordered a cocktail to start. A big bottle of wine, and we were off! First off, the rolls made in house were so spectacular that I almost asked for more, even though I knew we were in for a great meal. Sea salt on top, hefty without being dense, with or without butter just delightful. Apps: both the GA and the Wedge salad to share, along with the grilled octopus and mussels. My nieces are 7 and 13, my nephew is 11 and they basically ate every last bit of the mussels. Back when I was 11 all I wanted was pizza and burgers. All of the apps were so flavorful- the mussel broth had garlic and nduja which gave it a nice kick. My regret was that I didn't take pics of these. Apologies! Entrees: most of the table got steak, whether it was filet, the American Wagyu, the ribeye. My brother ordered the chicken, I ordered the lobster bucatini and two scallops on the side. My niece had the gnocchi side as her entree. Sides: gnocchi with shittaki mushrooms, duck fat fried potatoes, grits, and asparagus. The gnocchi is a MUST, but the grits and others were close behind. For dessert: chocolate soufflé, bread pudding made in house with ice cream, a cappuccino creme brûlée, and for their birthdays a small individual passion fruit panna cotta for my parents. What a beautiful touch. I would put this place in with all the known steakhouses, service was unmatched, food was excellent and we didn't have to drive 35 miles to Buckhead or Midtown. Hats off to the team here, from the hostess who checked in on us, our server Christopher, to the team in the kitchen. I walked by the bar to use the restroom and it had no empty seats. This would be a place I'd feel comfortable coming alone to treat myself. Support small businesses!

Five Boroughs Pizza Tavern has an incredible steampunk motif. The environment is the perfect modern rustic setting. In terms of environment and ambiance alone, this would be a 5-star place. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. I sat at the bar with my musician friend's entourage. After perusing the menu and listening to recommendations, my eyes landed on one item: calamari. I am a very big fan of calamari, and I haven't had it for a long time. What could go wrong? Sadly, I'd rate the calamari a 2-stars out of 5. I considered sending it back multiple times and swapping to something like their legendary meatballs, but I genuinely hate sending food back unless it's genuinely bad. The calamari lacked the flavors I typically find at Italian restaurants. While I appreciate the light batter and lighter frying from a health standpoint, a staggering amount of the calamari was soft and soggy. Their presentation style frankly made it so this shouldn't be the case, but it's a natural byproduct of light batter, light frying. Overall, Five Boroughs Pizza Tavern is probably beloved by locals, and for good reason. My friend's group certainly likes the place. I'm sure I'll eventually be back. I'm sure the meatballs will elevate this place for me to 4 stars or maybe even 5. Til then, I walk away deeply disappointed because of the calamari.
