Geez Louise, I have been here a lot, and dang, never wrote a review. Asked, mom to come, our treat, so we headed out around 5ish, parking was busy, hubby left us at the door, to get on the list. Waited 4 minutes and a gal said come with me, and she had a fresh hot basket of bread. Hubby texted me, I waved and we got a great booth in the bar Our sever was Jackie, ask for her, she's spot on plus!!!! We order a Cactus Blossom to start and sweet teas all around. Mom got 2 beautiful pork chops grilled, she said they melted in her mouth, green beans with onions and bacon, and garlic mashed potatoes with brown gravy. I got an 8 oz sirloin m-r with seasoned grilled prawns, loaded baked potato, and a beautiful house salad with blue cheese dressing. Hubby ordered 23 oz Porterhouse, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and carrots, added grilled mushrooms and onions atop his steak. Again service was 5 stars plus! We happened to fall upon this location on accident, as we were trying to head down the parkway back towards the Pigeon Forge location, but the insane amount of traffic heading that's direction would take well over an hour and a half. In any case, we put ourselves on the digital waitlist when we found this location, but didn't notice you had to respond to the text to let them know our party was here... in any case, after our time slot passed by 15 minutes, I went in to inquire about our reservation; which we were seated shortly after. Our waitress wasn't too welcoming at first, which my lovely dinner date noticed as well. She noted that part of the Texas Roadhouse charm was their over the top hospitality. Luckily, our server did warm up after we placed our initial order. For an appetizer, we ordered their cactus blossom, which is their version of the onion blossom, which had a nice crisp and served with a. Tasty dipping sauce. My beautiful companion and I decided to share our dishes so we decided on medium rare beef tips with seasoned rice with a loaded baked potato on the side. We also ordered a half slab of ribs with a double side of chili as the sides for this order. We both got the strawberry lemonades for our drinks. The ribs were pretty good with a sweet and slightly tangy bbq sauce; the pork rib meat was fall off the bone tender. The beef tips were a bit over cooked as we were expecting closer to rare than what came out. The onions and mushrooms in the sauce that was served with the tips were nice and the rice had a nice flavor to it. The chili had a bit too many beans but was pretty good. Our server was on the refills for my strawberry lemonade I had at least 3 or 4 glasses. The strawberry lemonade was a bit on the sweeter side, but it was nice and refreshing. My companion really enjoyed their rolls and the cinnamon butter. We were only able to finish half of our order and took the other half to go. We also requested an order of the rolls to go with it, and our server was nice and got us a to go bag of them. Overall, our experience was OK. Pretty good, but there were a few small hiccups. Don't really know what the attraction with this place is. It's always busy they have no idea how to work out who's next in line. You get the waitlist and wait. They have 6/7 prime parking spots out front that are always empty for call ahead orders. They need these for disabled parking ideally. Our server Koi was polite and cheerful and kept our drinks topped up. What really frustrated me was the person who took us to our table, he could see I had trouble walking and was using a cane but he insisted on taking us to the upper level where I had to struggle up stairs both ways. Love Texas Roadhouse, you are usually guaranteed a good meal, sometimes you stop at an exceptional one like this one. Some just do it better & this one is one of them. Pretty busy and were having a bake sale right in the check-in area which was probability one of my only complaints. I get the fundraiser part, you got to raise money, you got to raise money. I just don't like having to push my way through a crowd of people to get in. My wife bought some cookies, so she was cool with it. I just didn't expect it. Like going to the grocery store and before u go in getting hit by the Girl Scouts cookie brigade, every time, I bought 10 boxes already stop looking at me like that- "Yes, I want you to go to camp" Anyways, my salad was incredible, always decent, but this one was really good. My steak was perfect !!! Our waitress was Ashley and Trainee Koi. Both were super friendly and checked-in often, drinks stayed full, requests were fulfilled from start to finish. Ashley did a great job and Koi will be successful. Leftover steak was just as good the next morning with some eggs. These experiences & the support of the military keep us coming back. We had a great dinner on Saturday night! Our server Kyra was amazing! There were 4 of us and she didn't write anything down and we got everything perfect. That was the last time our server would talk to/see us until 2 hours had passed and our drinks were empty again. My steak was raw. I had ordered medium-rare. After I had sat and waited for 30min I tried my best to eat what I could. At the two hour mark when the server came back by, she asked if I wanted it cooked more because "it was raw." Even the server said that. 2 hours, 2 drinks, raw steak, $110. Price was what we expected. But the service and food is the worst I've ever had. I tried reaching out to another employee that ALSO got an attitude with me. This was the worst experience we have ever had. The lacking in customer service and hospitality is very noticeable. I came here on a Tuesday evening around 8:23pm with a Larry of 5 while visiting the area. There was no wait and we were seats promptly. We got two kids menus for the 2 kids in the party. There was trash on the floor, indicating the table wasn't cleaned properly. Around 8:27pm, our waiter, Josh, came over to take drink order. He introduced himself , which is great! This doesn't happen often anymore, in general. We all got waters to start. Around 8:28pm, someone dropped off another basket of complimentary rolls. The rolls tasted fine but definitely not the rolls that I'm used to at Texas Roadhouse. These were smaller and a more toasty. Josh then came back a minute later with the drinks and to take food order, but we weren't ready yet. Our order was placed around 8:43pm. My friend got the. 6 oz sirloin with chili and green beans. I got a half rack of ribs with broccoli and mashed potatoes. One of kids got mini cheeseburgers with corn and the other got chicken tenders and green beans. My little brother got At 9:05pm, Josh came over to say the food would be coming up soon. I also ordered a porch rocker with strawberry. I received it at 9:07pm. It tasted very watery at first. I stirred it up and it tasted a little better but not much. I would not recommend, lol. Food came at 9:09pm. After getting the food, Josh asked if I liked the drink and I told him no. Apparently, it's 1 pump of strawberry, 1 oz of liquor, and the rest soda water... lol. He took it back and I got the Jamaican cowboy on the rocks with sugar rim instead. I received it at 9:15pm. It was tasty and much better than the other drink. My mashed potatoes were warm/cold. My green beans were fine, both in taste and temperature. Ribs were delicious and definitely fall off the bone. Went with my husband and daughter around 4ish didn't wait to long, haven't been out with my daughter in quite sometime so I forgot to take pics! Anyways the wait for food was a little longer than expected but went around shift change so I get it. The waiter was great! Working the bar area, glasses longer hair. He wasn't over bearing was around when needed. AND he actually took empty plates away! Food came out timed perfectly, appetizer then entrees, so many times we'll get the app and 2 minutes later salad if ordered one and 2 minutes later the entrees which is soooooo aggravating. My husband had shrimp and steak loaded baked potato as always, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great, I had the smokehouse (?) burger which has mushrooms, onions cheese and bbq sauce but I left the bbq sauce off it was seasoned perfectly and was sooooo delicious, my daughter had the chicken fried steak and chili, the steak had a great flavor to it. We also had loaded potato skins for an appetizer and I honestly think they have the best tasting skins anywhere. After posing a review 2 days ago.... I received a message asking me to complete an on-line form, but after wasting my time the "send button" link did not work. I tried multiple browers and the same issue happened. My computer is fine..... I am use to building, maintaining, and networking computers earlier in my life; and I have had my own server. Your company has problems beside the horrible food. I then called your 1-800-839-7623 and selected option # 2 per the instructions. The first time I waiting on hold, then upon the person answering the phone (I guess) picking up the phone call was too hard for them or figuring out how to use a phone.... they hung up on my without saying a word. I then called the number a second time and I was then told the person at extension 609 is not available..... so much for wasting more of my time. The Texas Roadhouse seems to have issues beside the horrible food, ruining my birthday, and bad contact service. As I stated 2 days ago..... go eat somewhere else and save your money. Finally, I am not some kid or millennial, the wife and I are seniors in my late 60's. She has worked / managed restaurant's before and knows what the food should taste like. No problems at all regarding my service dog...they didn't even mention him, just took great care of us! We actually ate here twice during our 10 day stay. Hubs ordered the chicken fried chicken & applesauce both times and said it was great. I ordered the sirloin cooked medium, the chili & a house salad. The chili was excellent and the salad was fresh. Both times, my sirloin was over-cooked, the first visit I sent it back and it was cooked perfectly...the second visit I mistakenly decided to go ahead & eat it. Both were under seasoned for me, but a bit of sauce helped. It's a loud restaurant, so if you are looking for an intimate experience, this is probably not the place. He moved us thru the queue like cattle requiring each party member to "show their face" to confirm no incomplete parties. Once directed to sit, our party of 10 was split into two tables after giving our table to another party. A glib, insincere apology followed. Our food was overcooked as far as the grill items. We had 2 steak kabobs mw they were black char well done plus. We were not about to get back out in the Pigeon Forge Rod Run traffic to return them and I order this often at other locations so I'm hoping the grill was just super hot due to the crowd. I could not eat black grilled peppers but they handled curbside wonderfully. The Chicken Critters were excellent and the salads were fresh. I will try again in lower traffic time read more

Food could've been better, the grilled shrimp was so overly seasoned it drowned the actual shrimp. My Mom's rolls were dried out, prime rib was chewy. We never got refills or even asked if we wanted refills. Asked for a local discount, and were told they've never had a local discount, even though we have gotten in the past and Google even says they do, and even had a second lady give us a lecture and wouldn't stop even with us asking her to because we were already told why. It was my family's first time dining at a Texas Roadhouse. We explained this to our server Heather, who told us how TR prepares its food, including salads, dressings, and bread. Then we sampled the slow-cooked ribs, which tasted exactly like my grandfather's, which was a pleasant surprise. Heather brought over baskets of hot, fresh bread with butter, and our drinks were filled promptly. We also met the restaurant manager, who also welcomed us. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and the food was great. My prime rib was cooked to perfection and better than a prime rib I previously ordered at Merchant's (Broadway, Nashville), and my husband ate his whole ribeye steak. The drinks were good, and the kids also enjoyed the dishes from the kid's menu. Kid-friendliness: The kid's menu had a variety of options. My son ordered the cheeseburgers, and they used the hot buns as the bread. The kids also received their drinks in plastic cups with straws. read more
