I actually like the new decor at this location. Property is also nice and clean. Service on the other hand was abysmal. I sat for nearly 15 minutes before a server came near my table and I could hear them goofing off in the kitchen, laughing and carrying on with only two other people in the restaurant when I sat down. the coffee I was served was lukewarm. We have visited CB here and other locations many times. The new renovations here and staff are wonderful-welcoming staff, great service, clean and redesign with new furniture very nice change -gives flexibility to seat larger parties at busy times when needed or continue to seat smaller groups or couples. The food and offerings are consistent-exactly what you expect from CB but continue to be hot and hometown fare delivered at a fair price. Their current staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. I stopped in at Cracker Barrel for a little breakfast, but yet the breakfast was not that little; I ordered the mama sampler which came with a little bit of everything, including delicious crisp on the edge pancakes. We were seated quickly and our server Kyia was great. All of the food came out hot and perfect to our order. Although breakfast was delightful the little lady dressed like an elf in a red and black plaid shirt and matching hat, wasn't that pleasant. I really want to like this place but honestly it just doesn't do it for me. It always so crowded inside you can hardly move to look at any of the stuff in the store. Wait times are always long and you're lucky if your order comes out right the first time. I went with my dad and he ordered breakfast and they forgot his eggs. By the time they came out he was done with pretty much all his food. I ordered a new chicken dish they had, and it came out missing stuff that was posed to be on top. Just a complete disappointment. My boyfriend and I were here for an hour and 15 mins, after 10 mins of sitting with no drinks or waitress seen, we finally get our drink order taken and put in an appetizer (loaded casserole tots) which was supposed to come with ranch. After about 20 minutes the appetizer finally came out with no ranch and the cheese was not at all melted on the casserole tots it was just shredded cheese on top of hot tots. We asked for ranch and got that fast but the food took about another 20 minutes we finally get our food and was told the reason it took so long was due to another table stealing our food?! How does that happen?? The food was very mediocre. French toast was barely toasted just butter on bread with syrup. Butter wouldn't even melt on the "toast" While my boyfriend and I didn't say anything there, at least 2 other tables were visibly upset about the service and wait time on food. We saw multiple other tables get sat way after us and get their food so fast it was very ridiculous honestly. Our waitress was good she got us everything we needed. We really wanted some pancakes, so we decided to pop in on a Sunday around 12 pm. I went online and did the "join waitlist," which stated there was a 5-minute wait. We live super close by, so it gave us enough time to get ready and head that way. As soon as we got there, there was no wait, and we sat right down. Waitress was super nice and gave recommendations. Ended up getting the pancake platter with eggs, sausage, and grits. My son got the Benny eggs, which were eggs Benedict, but unfortunately, he was not a fan at all. Waitress was super nice and let us swap that for something else and, of course, took it off the check. Other than that, the food was super delicious, and the pancakes definitely hit the spot. This restaurant is always cool to visit. Especially the gift shop. There are plenty of items and souvenirs to look at. Our favorite part is the assortment of candy they offer. Have never been here before and a friend had a gift card so we decided to try. Went early on a Sunday morning and used call ahead seating. Still took about 15 minutes once we were there to be seated. Service was friendly enough, many empty tables so wondering if they had an issue with lack of employees. Ordered a few meals, the scrambled eggs were undercooked and tasted raw inside. Portions were decent but not huge except for the pancakes. The mocha latte was delicious, and the fresh fruit was good too. Food was not to expectations, service was lacking(waitress never offer to refill drinks and to top it off, a woman came in with a dog and cat that many of the staff handled so it led me to believe they were not service animals. Cracker Barrel is pretty much consistent whenever I visit any of its many restaurants. However, let me preface this review by stating my typical visits to a Cracker Barrel are for breakfast. This was my 1st visit to this particular location.This day, I joined my aunt for dinner and Im sad to report I was very disappointed! Known for its country fried steak, this location missed the mark! My meat was dry and tough! The country gravy and green beans lacked flavor. The hash brown casserole is normally the star of the show and although this time was no different it still did not shine as bright as it normally does. The biscuit was dry and the sweet tea didn't even come close to making the mark! Although, I was very underwhelmed with my dinner experience the others enjoyed their meals which is why I gave a 2 star rating. My 8yr old son had breakfast as he loved grits, eggs, bacon and biscuits...he ate all of his food except the biscuit but did state the grits were not as creamy as mine and the biscuit wasn't that good. My aunt and her MIL both tried the chicken & dumplings which they enjoyed. I will definitely return to a Cracker Barrel just not this one. read more

The second try was ice cold as well but two pancakes were missing. The breakfast comes with 3 pancakes which is a total of 6 but we received 4. Another set of pancakes came out with still 4 but no warm syrup. I would not recommend this place as it was not busy and ice cold food with the look of surprise when sent back. An extensive menu that can satisfy two people eating or a large group. I typically go for breakfast and dinner. The complimentary biscuits and corn bread are always a great way to start the meal. From eggs to chicken and a large variety of sides, the food is always pretty good. The staff at this location is always on point and I have always enjoyed my meal! Built to look like a huge country cabin, rocking chairs in front. Walking in, the store is filled with kitsch, clothing, baking and seasonal items. Put your name in for a table. Breakfast is served all day. I came with my parents after our other plans were a bust. The are very friendly to the handicapped and elderly here. The food came quickly. I informed the waitress it was my mother's birthday and they brought a vanilla ice cream sundae complete with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a cherry. Very nice. My grandparents love this place. They were visiting me over the holidays all the way from California. They don't have any cracked barrels where they live. So it makes sense now as to why they always want to go lol. The staff was super friendly. Food was pretty good. My grandpa loves breakfast foods. Which is something we have in common. We ate here a few times during their stay. 3 for breakfast and one time for dinner. My grandma enjoys dinner more. But... it's all good either way. They had a nice time here. Consistent execution at Cracker Barrel, which does an excellent job of being exactly the same whether you're in Charlotte NC, Glendale AZ or Palm Coast FL. With the exception of a few that are right to left where most are left to right, they are as cookie cutter as they can possibly become. The only thing that might possibly be different about this one is that it's not on an Interstate highway. They are usually within a quarter mile of an exit. Odd. Otherwise, same hostess, same menu, same food, same service. I'm a fan. They've recently introduced some slightly healthier options. Though the portions remain the same - massive. I had the granola pancake breakfast, which comes with two eggs (scrambled, please) and a meat (turkey sausage seemed like the best choice) and a plate that had three ginormous pancakes that were over the edge.
