I had a great experience there on Thanksgiving morning after coming from the airport. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with my hashbrowns with onions. I always forget Waffle House is here and I plan to come back in the future. It was very clean this date !

It's less messy than other locations, the new girl (savannah) seems to be more put together than some of the others. The bacon was cooked great and the hash browns were made to order and had a perfect crisp. I only waited 10 minutes from time of order. My waitress Amanda was unamused, could've just been a bad day. Renee checked me out and she was very sweet, checked on me a few times while I was eating. All in all I left pleased, I'd come back.

Two visits here so far and two different experiences. The first time, just one waitress covering the whole place and she was way overwhelmed. She was trying hard but needed at least another server. She forgot stuff. She mischarged us. She was well behind on cleaning off dirty tables. But she tried and and we tipped her well. The second time, the restaurant was very busy and I think the servers were staggering orders to allow the cook to keep up. After we arrived and took our seat in the corner, we waited a good 15 minutes before orders were taken. The waitress for this area did a great (not) job of avoiding eye contact for us and the two tables who came in immediately afterwards. Once our order was taken, our breakfast was prepared quickly and arrived over the course of about five minutes with the eggs and grits, omelet, ham, waffle and finally the hash browns. Not great to get things this separated. As well on our second visit, six or seven people standing around and placing/waiting on carry-out orders. Not much social distancing going on over there and these folks should have waited outside. [Review 14997 overall, 499 of 2021, number 2861 in North Carolina.]

I came here late night from hanging out a bit. The place was very busy at the time but we were able to sit right away. The server was very nice and had that southern hospitality. I ordered waffles with chicken breast and it was pretty good. The price was very affordable. If ever in Charlotte again I will be back.

Stopped by Waffle House for a quick breakfast and also introduce my new friend to Waffle House for the first time. It's never a disappointment for me to eat at Waffle House and it was also not a disappointment for my friend after she tried the amazing Sausage Egg Cheese Hashbrown Bowl!! It was super fresh and warm with perfectly cooked eggs and sausages. The hashbrowns were crispy and flavorful. At $7.70 it fills you up and also worth every bite. The cheeseburgers I believe are around $2 a piece and are one of the best cheeseburgers you can get for that price. With $2 you could buy McDonald's or other fast food burgers but at Waffle House, $2 can buy you cheeseburgers that are amazingly tasty and is a million times better than any fast food restaurant. The location here also always has attentive and friendly service. Every time I come by this location the servers are always so friendly it gives a very homey and comfortable vibe. People always seem to give Waffle House a bad rep but honestly it is amazing quality hot/fresh food for a very low price and lovely service.

For what it is, it's pretty darned good. Came here for breakfast with my dad after a walk along the greenway on the 4th of July. It was hot outside but cool inside which is almost surprising given the heat emanating from the grill that takes up almost a quarter of the place. But kudos. I didn't realize it was such a tiny place inside. From the outside (and maybe I didn't look closely ever) it seemed like a decent sized restaurant, let's say with ample seating. But when we went inside we saw that all the tables were taken but luckily they had bar type seating with three open spots and we took two of them. The lady who took our order, Josette, was the nicest and just the embodiment of southern hospitality. And actually every one of the staff members was very cordial. When they were waiting for the food to cook or had a few minutes downtime, they would come over to each table/customer and ask how their food was, how their day was, etc. The only downside I see is having the whole "kitchen" right in front of the customers makes the food experience just a tad unappealing. Then again, as I mentioned from the start, you walked into a Waffle House and not Sassafraz!

Today the place is standing room only - it is breakfast hour and the weekend. The aroma of pecan waffles is in the air ... Food is good - I had steak and eggs with grits. Steak is good - don't have High expectations and you won't be disappointed . It's Waffle House ! Clean restaurant with slamming grilled food . Waitstaff is pleasant and that's half the battle at any restaurant! I'd recommend it anytime - just keep perspective of where you are !

    Yes, grits and mustard haha

The food came out fast, but I didn't feel like it was hot hot. We ordered a combo platter with carolina chopped pork, 1/2 rack of ribs, and 2 orders of bbq brisket. The ribs were the best part, but even so it was just okay. The hush puppies were ok. Carolina chopped pork was a little salty for my liking. Brisket had nothing compared to the last brisket I had so I was kinda disappointed because I needed a knife to cut it. It was definitely enough food though for two people. Service was good though. We were originally sat at a table where you could feel the outside air every time it opened. They were kind to let us move. Anyways, those are my thoughts. I'd say it's a 3-4 star spot.

The…read moreatmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a sports lodge--tons of TVs everywhere so you can catch every game, but with that rustic outdoor theme too. Mounted game fish, moose, and deer heads give it that hunting-lodge vibe, which actually makes it a fun place to hang out and watch sports. We started with the Billionaire Bacon appetizer--six slices of bacon described as thick-cut, hickory-smoked and candied with brown sugar, red chile flakes, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne. The flavor description was accurate, but the bacon itself really wasn't thick-cut and could've been much crispier. For the price, I expected better. If it had been thicker and crispy, it might've been worth it, but I probably won't order that again. My girlfriend ordered the Southwest Salad, and that dish absolutely delivered. It was a heaping portion topped with perfectly cooked sliced sirloin steak and shrimp, plus mixed greens, carrots, pico de gallo, roasted corn, black beans, pepper jack, and a jalapeño honey vinaigrette. She absolutely loved it. She also got a side of coleslaw, which was surprisingly delicious and a great addition to the meal. She paired everything with the Dirty Blonde beer, which definitely made up for the disappointing appetizer. I went with the naked garlic Parmesan wings and a side Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The wings were fried perfectly--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside--and the flavor was spot on. I was very satisfied with them. Service was great as well. We actually had two servers because one was in training, and both of them were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, I'd rate our experience a 4.5 out of 5. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all really good, and we had a fun time. If not for the underwhelming Billionaire Bacon, this would've easily been a full 5. We'll definitely be back--just skipping that appetizer next time.

This place was quite large with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. There was regular tables, booths and high tables as well as a large bar you can sit at. The decor gave hunter/lumberjack feels with prop axe's on tables and mounted animals on the walls. Large TV's were everywhere showing all types of sports from softball, cornhole, extreme frisbee and the more common sports. We were greeted warmly and promptly were lead to a table. Looking at every table, they all had two dishes and two sets of utensils. We had three people eating. A third plate and set of utensils was never given to us. Also there are no menus. There was a sticker on the table with a QR code you could scan to get the menu but that was never pointed out to us. Our server came promptly and we were able to get our drinks quickly while we were trying to figure out the menu. Our server was kind of nice to realize we were having issues with the app bringing up the menu so she gave us time to look it over while coming back often to check on us. Eventually we had decided what we wanted. I ordered the Billionaire's Bacon for an appetizer. The Bacon was a bit undercooked to my liking. It was a little chewy. But the sweet and spicy taste was very good. My friend ordered the Brisket Chili and downed it very fast. They really enjoyed it. For our entrée's I ordered the Beer Battered Fish n Chips, my two friends both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak minus the mushrooms. We all got the seasoned french fries. Their cheesesteaks came large and correctly made. My one friend was only able to finish half of it and took the rest home for lunch tomorrow. My Fish n Chips came with four pieces of hot and yummy Cod. It was white and flakey and the batter was light but crunchy. The seasoned fries were cooked perfectly and the seasonsing reminded me of Old Bay. And there was plenty of them too! Our server refreshed our drinks when we were getting low and checked on us several times to make sure everything tasted good and if we needed anything else. We split the bill and we were just handed a paper receipt. I was surprised there was no little folder that it was put in. Overall we had a good experience. The food was good, the service was good. For a place that has signs showing you how cold the beer fridge is you would think they would have something on the table showing you their frosty mugs of beer. A hand held menu is so much better but as long as you know what you want it's a nice place. Come football season I am thinking this is gonna be a great spot to watch games. I want to try their wings next time because they have some interesting combinations. If you are looking for a new spot give them a try!

There was no apology and no offer to replace the food or issue a refund. There was nothing funny about it or his response. We had planned to order additional food to go for my husband, but after that interaction, we left. Unfortunately, we had already eaten part of the meal before noticing the hair. The food itself was mediocre at best- no better than fast food, yet cost $45 for a burger, fries, and two kids' meals with shakes. To make matters worse, we ordered onion strings with one of the kids' meals but received fries instead, and the onion strings never arrived, even after waiting about 10 minutes between reporting the mistake and the hair incident. In hindsight, the warning signs were everywhere: a dirty drink station, an unkempt counter, a visibly dirty shake machine, and unclean floors, tables, and bathrooms--all in an otherwise empty restaurant with multiple employees going in and out of the kitchen. I can only imagine the condition behind the kitchen doors. The 4-star reviews are misleading, and I feel obligated to share this experience to provide a more accurate picture. Beware and stay away until they do better.
