As the result of my previous review of this restaurant, I received an invitation to dine here again for "another bite of the apple". Unfortunately, the experience was yet another fail, and primarily due to the music playlist. Evidently, this Red Lobster appears more focused on fostering a bar scene as compared to a pleasant restaurant experience. Again, uptempo quasi hip hop, rap, dance techno music is the prevalent genre emanating from the sound system, an interesting choice, to say the least, when the customer demographic is overwhelmingly senior citizen. Perhaps Red Lobster anticipates a population of hearing aids won't notice the conduct of musical malpractice. Too bad. Red Lobster, like every other restaurant, deals with escalating food and production costs, which are passed on to a Prescott customer base that is typically on a fixed income, yet a tortured musical experience combined with an inflated bill for underwhelming meal quality isn't a winning combination. Rather, take your business, and your money, elsewhere for a more satisfying dining experience, and hope Red Lobster sees a better day....through positive change. To be sure, Red Lobster has every right to play the music of their choice and deliver unremarkable food quality. It's their business to operate as they see fit, but the restaurant chain is in bankruptcy,...and from my experience, I think I know why. Meanwhile, my dining dollars go elsewhere, evidently like many other potential customers. The restaurant game is challenging and competitive with very slim margins, and it appears Red Lobster has lost the game. read more

Second time eating at this particular red lobster. First time for the all you can eat soup salad, and cheddar bay biscuits. You really can't go wrong with this choice. Soup was very meaty and thick. Very tasty. Salad was very fresh and the biscuits were great as always. Service ok. Came a week later on Tuesday for the crab leg special. The special came with crispy potatoes. And another side. The problem is at least 2-3 of additional sides were potato dishes. (why are there so many potato sides?) this is an issue with every RL not just this one. The other was rice and coleslaw. I ordered a small salad. Extra cost of $3.00 for that. The problem with the service was we received our salads, and seriously they sat down the bowl and the crab legs arrived. I hadn't even picked up my fork yet to take a bite of salad. I personally preferred to eat my salad before my main meal.. so therefore, my crab sat there and got cold. Our server did apologize after she saw our faces, but left the food anyway. ‍ Cold crab just doesn't cut it for me. Sort of ruined the lunch. Another odd thing happened- I hadn't been asked my preference, but I saw on the menu you could get garlic butter, so I asked my server for that. There just seemed to be confusion about the whole thing. She said she hadn't rang that in. I didn't know if that meant there was an extra cost or what. Anyway, there wasn't. She brought the garlic butter, but she brought a giant bowl! . I simply expected a small one like the normal one you get. Nothing flowed. I really looked forward to this meal. It wasn't great nor was the service in my opinion. The server is in charge of putting the order into the kitchen and making sure you have time to start eating your salad/apps before your food comes. We took our 83 year young mom out for dinner and she requested Red Lobster. In her younger days she and her sister would venture out a couple times a year for a big lobster dinner, so it has many lovely memories and a nostalgic experience for her. We had a wonderful time! The restaurant was clean and inviting. The host greeted mom warmly and handed us over to our server Brandie. She led us to a booth that was at a comfortable distance, as mom uses a cane to get around. Brandie answered all questions with a smile and brought drinks and biscuits right away. We all ordered the Ultimate Feast entree. Mom was thrilled to have lobster, crab legs and a few shrimp. We even got her to pose for a photo with the "I'm shell-obrating" bib, which I would love to post but she would never speak to me again. Lol. She complimented Brandie multiple times stating "she even brought me the extra butter I requested." All of our dinners were excellent and Brandie made sure we had full beverages with as many biscuits as we could handle and when we asked sheepishly for some extra to take home, she was happy to honor our request. My boyfriend and I went for the all you can eat shrimp. You never know what you're going to get for a seafood chain, but surprisingly this Red Lobster was amazing. The seafood tasted fresh, was not overly cooked, and not extremely fishy like some places. I will say the Lobster topped baked potato is to die for! Our server was super attentive, she knew what we wanted and needed and brought it out for us without us having to ask. The restaurant was clean, quiet and a perfect spot for date night! I ordered the Salmon, Lobster and Shrimp dinner. The salmon was decent, the shrimp smelled and tasted off, and the part I was really looking forward to, the lobster, was basted with something so salty it was borderline inedible, as if someone had emptied a saltshaker on it. It took 2-years for me to get over my bad experience the previous time I ate there, shame on me for not learning my lesson. Someone would have to try really hard to screw up a seafood dinner this bad. As God is my witness, I will never, ever, ever, set foot in a Red Lobster restaurant again. read more

My husband and I went to Red Lobster on March 25, 2025. There was no host/hostess present at the front desk. It was my husband's birthday, so we told two people about it, the manager and the server. Very disappointed. We went to Red Lobster for my husbands birthday dinner. We were greeted and sat right away by a very friendly gentleman. Provided with menus and told that our server would be right over. We chatted some about the menu and continued our conversation of the day when it dawned on my husband that we had been seated for 10+ minutes with no server. No water, no drink order, no biscuits. We had a lovely dinner at Red Lobster on 8-31-24. Ricky brought our drinks and great biscuits right away, then he took our order. We had scrumptious lobster, excellent coconut shrimp, great Caesar salad, and Alfredo with a free one to go. Ricky was very attentive. He even brought our chocolate cake wave with the ice cream separate so we could take the cake home, no more room in our stomachs. Thank you Ricky for a wonderful dinner. Probably one of the nicest experiences I've had at this chain. I took my mom here at the end of our holiday visit since this is one of her favorite restaurants. The server, Emily, was very polite and friendly, occasionally joking with us without it feeling like she was intruding. My husband really wanted crab legs but without the sides, so after a bit of detective work with the help of Emily, she informed us that it would end up cheaper if he got the sides and maybe just took them home to enjoy later (works for us). I ordered a 7oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and green beans. I'm always a bit hesitant about ordering "turf" at a "surf" restaurant, but I was in the mood for cow. I was not disappointed! It was perfectly medium, well seasoned, and the sides were just as tasty. We declined an appetizer so we could split a desert: key lime pie. It was a reasonable size and a great refreshing way to finish a somewhat heavy meal. We got several to-go boxes and Emily added a bag of complimentary cheesy biscuits without being prompted. I walked in on a busy Saturday night. I was by myself so I asked if there was a bar seat available, the manager was so sweet and didn't hesitate to see if one was available. My luck there was. The bartender was great, even though he was super busy he was friendly, polite and was pretty darn quick considering how busy they were. Great work ethic this guy has I got the grand patron margarita, clam chowder and the lobster tail duo. The food and drinks never disappoint. My girlfriend just got home from Red Lobster and was telling me how special "you don't see people like that anymore " she recognized they were out with a friend that had cancer and she so attentive and recognized that she was ill with cancer.
