No soy milk or almond milk for creamer (expected) but they didn't even have non-dairy creamer packets! That was unexpected and really disappointing. And don't blame this on Covid, understaffing, supply chain issues... this is just bad planning and a bad customer experience. Period. Hard stop. Cracker Barrel has become a good stop for us when on the road. The food is always consistently good and the service is normally very good. On a recent road trip we began our dialogue on where to stop and eat roughly 60 miles before reaching the Ringgold, GA exit coming east on 24 and then heading south on 75. We finally decided on Cracker Barrel since we knew what we would get and were both hungry for a good meal. It was a Friday evening and when we pulled in the parking lot was full. There were people waiting outside for tables and we decided to venture in and use the bathrooms and while waiting for my wife I decided to ask how long it would take to be seated. I was expecting 45 minutes or longer but the hostess told me 12 -15 minutes and we decided to stay. 7 minutes later our name was called and we were seated in the dining room. Our waitress was at our table within a few moments and took our drink order and returned to take our meal order. Our food was served roughly 15 minutes or less later and was fresh and hot which is what we are used to at Cracker Barrel. Our total time for the stop according to my Google timeline was 33 minutes, that is from the time we pulled in to the time we pulled out. Food: My wife ordered the French Dip sandwich with a salad and it was amazing including the au jus. I decided to order the Maple Pecan Fried Chicken and it was tasty but I am not a huge fan of sweet or syrup with my food so probably not something I would order again but it was served piping hot and with the exception of my personal taste was good. My wife tried it and loved it. I cannot mark down the review score due to my likes or dislikes. The sides were awesome including the biscuits. The store is clean and service was great. We would definitely return to this Cracker Barrel again. read more

"Haleigh N" was quick to greet me at the front on this quiet, early Saturday morning. I asked her to bring me her favorite thing for breakfast. She brought out two meat biscuits with hashbrown casserole along with a side of gravy and coffee which I hadn't ordered but clearly needed. Seemed like she was trucking most of the food out of the kitchen as well and I've always viewed that behavior as great team playing. Just had dinner here, there were 4 of us, everyone's food came after 30 minutes, except mine, no manager came to the table, no compensation, no explanation. Poorly managed in my opinion. When the food did finally come it was in parts and looked like it had been sitting for while. Food was only so so this time. Bread very hard. Also sides barely warm. The meatloaf was great. They were also understaffed but it wasn't that busy. I appreciated the good service however. I'm aware that when traveling down the highway you just want a familiar meal and location to sit and recharge (that's not fast food). Ok so I live in Florida I used to live in Ohio so I come up to see family a few times a year I stoped in Georgia for food I usually love Cracker Barrel but we had to wait an hour at least for our food we weren't told that our food was going to take long intill after we sat down they forgot half of our food so it took them two more trips to get our food correct it was good but it was barely warm our waiter was good but kept coming up with countless excuses that we don't know were lies or not we have to be on the road to get to Florida and now we are over an hour behind we should have at least got some sort of discount read more

I drove 11hours up I- 75 from Florida on my way to Chicago.. traffic was horrible the last 3 hours ... and really hoped I would find a good Cracker Barrel.. I would say in my experience it's 60/40 I find a good one over a not so good one.. This one was one of the Best! The service was outstanding.. I usually love Cracker Barrel but this location was way off. I ordered the turkey and stuffing special. The "dressing" or stuffing wasn't even ready with the meal. They brought it out when I was ready to leave. You could tell it was instant from a box with some onion and celery thrown in. The turkey ends were dried an inedible. I had fried chicken baked potato and green beans my dinner was OK my wife had a turkey dinner special that was slices of turkey, really not that good. The sweet potato casserole was not sweet at all, and her turkey stuffing they didn't even have it ready. When she was completely done eating they brought it out to her and the girl says oops I'm sorry here's your stuffing. The waitress, I've seen more personality in a rock! So today we experienced the manager, Kim. When we asked for a simple substitution, she told us "no substitutions of any kind, corporate policy". When we explained that other stores had no problem with this she shrugged he shoulders and said there was nothing she could do, it's corporate policy. We would have happily paid more to get what we want. When we told her to cancel our order, she just turned her back and gave a thumbs up jester and walked away. I felt bad for Nathaniel, our server as he was nice and seemed almost scared to speak to his manager. Until Cracker Barrell takes care of these issues, we will take our business to local restaurants who are not bound to "corporate policy". Cracker Barrel is my ultimate road trip stop for a nice hot meal, you're sure to find one off the next exit. The meals and service is generally consistent regardless of the location. I enjoy browsing through the store after my meals, a lot of interesting finds. List of meals I've had and enjoyed: 1. Every worker at Cracker Barrel is just so sweet..... makes it difficult to only give 2 stars... but.... my hubby and I both went with the sunrise sampler. The bacon, ham and sausage were very over cooked. If I had to guess, I'd guess they were leftover from the weekend and reheated for our breakfast. Hubby ate his... I passed. The gravy for the biscuits was blah. The over easy eggs were cooked perfectly though. We won't eat here again, but the service really was good. read more

Thursdays are my favorite days at Cracker Barrell. Turkey and Dressing. After driving 30 minutes to get to this location. The closest to my home. We have to wait to be seated. Then once we are seated we have to wait 5 to 8 min and we still dont get helped I have to ask for a manager. Yea. I had to ask for one. She politely came out and apologized but guess what too late. Every time we come here it's like this. Oh yea. Cant forget to mention you usually run out of drinks before you finish eating and they finally acknowledge you need a refill but its too late you have chocked it down and are ready to leave. My husband and I went to Cracker Barrel in Ringgold on Sunday Sept 3rd. We walked in and were immediately seated (not busy) and got to our table. We already knew what we wanted and ordered and received our drinks at 4:03 pm. He ordered Biscuit/gravy with beans and I ordered fried chicken salad. We sat and waited and waited. Our waitress never came back to our table other than to bring drinks. We sat there until 4:50 and finally got up and went to the hostess area. We advised them it was ridiculous waiting that long and we will pay for our drinks, however we were leaving. We asked for a manager and was advised there were several of them. Asked the host to go get one. He came back from the kitchen area to advise that he is sorry they were to busy to speak with us. We walked to the cashier and told her what happened and she just waved us on thru. Very disappointed in the service. Do better ! read more

I eat at the Ringgold Cracker Barrel every Wednesday evening when I have the chance. Their broccoli cheddar chicken is consistently delicious and you get 2 sides, biscuits, and cornbread with it. There's always enough for leftovers. Tonight's server was Braeden and he was excellent! He was attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. He is definitely an asset to the Cracker Barrel staff. If you visit, ask for him and let's get him some recognition for his hard work and good manners. read more

Stopped here for a breakfast to begin our long drive home southbound. Tried to order online for pick up but the system didn't work. So we decided to go in directly and place the order. Waited 10 minutes to get assistance which never arrived. Went back to the car to call and place the order. Took couple of tries to get anybody to take our order. They said it would take 30 minutes (mind you we ordered a simple meal, nothing time consuming). So we waited 30 minutes and called to check on the order. They told us to come in to pick it up and pay. Fine. No social distancing. 50% of patrons did not wear mask! Our breakfast was not ready at that time either. Still waited and finally after we got our meal, it was COLD, OVERCOOKED AND INCOMPLETE! I am not a complainer, I hate it. But I was so angry that we wasted so much time for such simple thing. Before I start, I will say that our waitress was very nice and did the best she could. The manager, however, was terrible and would not own up to the mistakes that were made. Basically, once we placed our order, it took them 20 minutes just to come out and tell us that they did not have what we ordered. When the manager came by and "apologized," he just made excuses as to why this happened and would not own up to the lack of communication in his restaurant. This isn't the first time we've had issue at this particular location either. The last time we ate here, it took half an hour to get our food and once it arrived, it was all cold to the touch. The sauce in the chicken and dumplings had even begun to congeal and form a skin. It was disgusting. This used to be our favorite Cracker Barrel location, but we definitely will not be returning. Pretty cool, authentic, Southern place. The gift shop is pretty extensive, with all the UGA gear you could want (where's Emory :'( at)? and some interesting candies and sodas among other things. The restaurant was packed and the food was definitely down home southern. Lots of fried things and grits complete with corn muffins or biscuits. No dieting here. Food tasted fine. My issue was with the servers; my waitress was Michelle, and Let me preface his by saying I don't expect everyone to be chipper and happy all the time (that wouldn't be reasonable). But she just seemed annoyed that I was there today. She approached my table and no 'hi, how's it going' but just "You know what you want?" I think this was the right location? We had a waitress named traci and she was the worst! Never refilled unless we flagged her down! Had an attitude and acted like she was completely overwhelmed by the amount of tables she had however all the other waitresses seemed to handle it just fine and efficiently! We got there sat down watched her run passed us for ten min or so while other ppl who came in after us and sat down in another waitresses section they got waited on straight away! She wasn't friendly and seemed like she got an attitude when asked for anything! A waitress named Adriana took over our table In the middle!?? I guess because traci was too inexperienced to handle her job! But anyway the other waitress was a little friendlier but just like the other one traci she didn't seem to like being asked for anything ! Also talks breakfast has went down hill! We have made it a Sunday usual to come to this location and enjoy some good country style cooked breakfast. Food is always great, besides the fact they no longer have their breakfast bowls. The host team needs work. Which is such a shame because they're the first impression for the atmosphere of a restaurant, and this host team gives an annoyed, unpleasant feel to the place. We've had a mix of good and bad wait staff. There is definitely some room for learning for some of the servers there. read more

This one is as good as any but is kind of difficult to get to if you haven't been before. I just wish they would find a new biscuit recipe!! Cornbread muffins are great!
