We love Cracker Barrel BUT... Highly disappointed with this location. I called 4 times to place a to-go order. First time, I got put on hold and then hung up on after waiting 10:50. Second time, I got put on hold and then the call ended. Third time, I got put on hold after explaining my previous calls and then was sent back to the lady that said "40 min wait" and then hung up before I could talk.... Fourth time, they answered and said "we can't take your order - we're too busy" and then hung up. What type of customer service is this!? I only called four times because of how much my family likes the food but my gosh.... Just tell me the first time you're too busy. Before I tried calling in the order, I tried ordering online and got to the end and it said this location isn't taking online orders. Again, tell me at the beginning! Definitely don't waste your time here with the horrible service. I'll find another Cracker Barrel with quality service. I called them to ask if they had a Buffett because someone told me they did. A lady answered and was super rude and short with me. Didn't say bye or anything at the end of the call. OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM MARCY AND CREW!!!! We travel throughout the country and visit may returns..this one shine above most for sure. The food was served fast and delicious, and the waitress made sure our requests were taken seriously in regards to the way we wanted things prepared. I accidentally left my water metal water bottle there and the staff mailed it back to me since it had great sentimental value.... I highly recommend a visit there!!! read more

Chicken tenderloins are always FREAKIN AWESOME and flavorful and good for you! The shrimp skillet with cheese grits was kind of insane. Almost too much for my little taste buds to handle. The flavor was so intense and there was a lot of garlic, but it was very good... very rich! They provided a lot of large yummy shrimp. The 1/2 lb cheeseburger was very good, but the fries were just ok. My father loved the strawberry spinach salad! Come here if you're in the mood for some serious comfort food. read more

My wife and I went for breakfast and our meals were unfortunately far from our expectations. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy and I had Sausage and eggs. My wife's gravy was in a side bowl and so thick you couldnt cover both biscuits when split in half. The gravy needed some sausage in with it we feel. The biscuits were good though. My sausage patties were awful, dry and did not taste like pork at all. The eggs, hash browns and grits were bland.. Presentation was poor in our opinion. Made the meal start off very bland. Service was good. Being constantly busy we had higher expectations though. read more

Every time I order food for delivery from this location they omit at least one item from our order! Today it was my pancakes! I called to report the missing food and the lady who answered the phone got nasty and essentially accused the DoorDash delivery person of stealing the food! The last time I ordered the did not get a 1/2 gallon of tea! The order was placed through the #crackerbarrel website so they assigned the delivery company! Cracker Barrel should have worked to get the food delivered! They did offer to let me pick up the items but I had already paid a delivery fee and tip for the food to be delivered! read more

It's a Cracker Barrel. It's like most Cracker Barrels except I've never had a problem at all with this one really. Believe it or not, the further afield you go the weirder they get. Some are just kind of completely stupid but I say that's a function of management. Not all of them have good managers. I didn't think I was a fan of Cracker Barrel until our last visit! Those biscuits are SO DARN GOOD. It was almost painful watching other guests not eat them and leave them behind. Haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in years but coming here on a long road trip was definitely worth the stop. The food is still out of this world which is why I love this place. The gift shop was great especially with the variety of items they sold there. Parking is great as well, wasn't any issues. Friendly staff for the most part. read more

First time at Cracker Barrel, "date night" with the in-laws. Our waitress was the sweetest thing ever. Answered our nonstop "how's the....?" questions with a smile and made sure we were taken cared of. Only thing I wish was better was the temperature of my fish. I ordered the haddock and my fish was maybe room temperature. Definitely would've enjoyed it more if it was hotter. The store side was adorable. I ended up taking home a chocolate pecan pie. This store was right next to our hotel, so I walked in around 7 a.m. They open around 6 a.m. It is so nice shopping at a Cracker Barrel all to yourself. The one in Lakeville is so crowded and you can not see anything as people just stand there. I purchased some Bone Sucking Barbecue Sauce, actually cleared it out as it was on clearance for $3 a jar. Also found 2 books for uses for lemons and uses for vinegar at 40% off. The German lady with the accent was really friendly. Welcome to Missora as sales tax is at 10%, and they tax clothes. Came here with friend. Ordered cup of soup corn muffins and side salad. Waiter decided to change my order to a lunch combo that would save me about $2. I applaud the effort, but the salad was a chicken with what appeared to be 2 whole tomatoes chopped up rather than a side salad. It was a disaster of epic proportions. There are few times during a vacation where I feel I should take time out of the road trip to provide feedback on excellent service. This experience is one of those times. My family and I stopped by, today, during a weekend lunch hour to enjoy a meal. The service was excellent, quick, and sufficient. Our waiter went out of his way to verify off-the-menu requests, and also suggested lunch specials that were better than what might have normally been ordered. A different waiter went out of his way to gather items from our table after the meal, and also took the time to ask how things were and if there was anything that he could also do to be of service. It was a great sight to see all the waiters working together to take care of the customers. From a customer perspective, I've never seen a Cracker Barrel functioning so smoothly and efficiently with a high volume of customers. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

BEST BREAKFAST I'VE EVER HAD, SERIOUSLY! I have eaten twice here and I am so impressed. BREAKFAST - $19 w/ tax - Blueberry pancakes with strawberries and real maple syrup - This looked as beautiful as it tasted. Not too sweet and just moist enough to make all the flavors pop without being soggy. Just perfect! 5/5 - Hash brown casserole - This had just the right amount of crisp without being too soggy. I thought it was great (and I don't even like hash browns that much). 5/5 - Fried apples - WOW, this took me to a place of bliss. I thought the apples were going to be "fried" but they were more like the inside of an apple pie BUT in a good way. It was NOT overly sweet at all. Cracker Barrel seems to understand to let the natural sugars in the fruit speak for themselves and not saturate it with unnecessary sugar. Loved this & I put some on my toast. 5/5 - Toast - I never eat the toast at restaurants because it's just filler and stale but this was the best toast I have ever eaten! I put lots of butter! 5/5 - Apple cider - This is like a mild apple cider served in a chilled mug. Again, another perfect example of how NOT to add lots of sugar to fruity foods. Great! 5/5 - Fruit cobbler w/ Ice Cream - Warm black berry cobbler with cold vanilla ice cream. This was a little too sweet for my taste but still a fresh, solid dessert. 3/5 LUNCH / DINNER ~ $13 - Meatloaf, Chicken, Ham Sampler (comes w/ 4 sides) - Meatloaf had the most flavor. Chicken was appetizing, and the Ham was mediocre. 3/5 - Green beans - buttery and delicate 5/5 - Pinto beans - way better than canned pinto beans. I was surprised how good it was. 5/5 - Okra - Bland, but better than Okra I had elsewhere. 2/5 - Green mix? (forgot what it's called but it looks like cream spinach) - This was fantastic. I couldn't get enough! I would order a whole bowl of this. 5/5 - Apple Cider - above. SERVICE Very friendly, informative and inviting. ATMOSPHERE I love the design of this place. It's very cozy and makes me feel like I am having dinner in a southern families dining room. Lady and I decided to stop in for some Sunday Morning breakfast. Place was busy but the line was moving so we sat out on the porch and played checkers in their rocking chairs. Good times. Get seated and get our drink orders in. I go for the Grandpa which is chicken fried steak, hash browns, 2 eggs, biscuits and gravy plus grits. The Lady went for a dish with sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy but passed on the grits. Some time passes and a new waitress comes up to our table and exclaims that she will now be taking care of us as she was away taking phone orders. She then took off into the section. Seemed weird as yes all sections were busy but helper servers, and managers were at the front watching the floor but ok. Time passes we get our food. My food, exactly what I wanted. Flavorful chicken fried steak, crispy hash browns, sunny side up eggs and well I'm not a grits fan. They bring the biscuits and gravy out for the both of us on a single plate. Four biscuits, 1 cup of gravy. Looking around the one cup is what you get with a single order. We stretched it out but wasn't enough to get the full B&G experience. From the Lady's side the sausage on her breakfast was strange. Think summer sausage that has been fried. Like the stuff you ate with cheese at Christmas. Not really breakfast sausage. I finish my tea and wait. Not sign of our server. Whole meal goes by no sign. While I'm eating I mess up and knock my knife into the floor. Right in front of a walking server. She hops out of the way of the knife and keeps on moving. Granted my bad but c'mon, where is the service? No new knife offer? Manager is pacing around the place, walks by our table twice make eye contact but ignores the empty glasses. Finally we decide to speak up and flag down a waitress from another section. Ask for tea. A little while late we get refills but the meal is well and truely over at this point. Have to flag down another waitress to get our check. Still no sign of our server, but plenty of manager and manager's helper up front and all other sections seem to be getting covered. Really a shame. We will give this place another try but until then 2 stars. On a final note. I really hate it when food service staff say "we are slammed" in a negative connotation. Every restaurant wants to be full busy. They should be excited to see it. The Good Flavorful food at a good price. Lots of seating. Rocking Chairs for waiting and checkers! The Bad Not your normal breakfast sausage. Not enough gravy to cover 4 biscuits. The Ugly Playing Marco Polo with wait staff. 3 bucks for 1 pint glass of tea and 1 refell 30 minutes later. Wait staff happy to dance by an issue and not address. Management staff that likes to walk around a lot with a helper but no results for the effort. read more

Stop pretending Cracker Barrel isn't good because it's a chain! Its freakin good and you know it! Have you ever made Egg's in a basket that turned out like theirs? When was the last time you had a blueberry pancake so good you needed help remembering which plane of existence you lived on. Also, how do they find the sweetest old ladies in the world to work here? My 15 month old baby girl broke the sugar container and nearly killed the North Eastern corner of the restaurant but the waitress was so sweet about it. We had a party of about 18 people who had not seen each other in a long time. Everyone was talking and hugging and not paying attention to the waitress at all. Somehow, she got all our orders correct, and got separate checks to each couple or individual. She single handedly put 97% of DC waitresses to shame. Also, the kitchen messed up a couple of orders from our table and other tables, so she just kept bring out biscuits and gravy, grits, pancakes, and hash brown casserole. Thank you Cracker Barrel. One thing: 7 years ago I had a lemonade at a Cracker Barrel in Lexington Kentucky. It tasted like a citronella candle. This is my only complaint. read more

Tried the new baked chicken breast - awesome. Lightly breaded and incredibly moist. This is southern comfort food. Even though I hate this expression I'll say it: "It is what it is." If you don't like comfort food, find a salad bar somewhere and tell the people in line what unhealthy food they serve at Cracker Barrel. They'll probably agree with you. But for all the fans of flavor, I'll proudly wipe real butter from my mouth as I'm finishing my last bite of biscuit - with blackberry preserves, of course. Typical Cracker Barrel. DELICIOUS! But what struck me odd was I chose grits and sawmill gravy as a side for dinner and the server never heard of that. This is Springfield Missouri.... isn't this the South? Courteous service, clean, decent portions, quickly seated etc etc. BUT.... BUT..... my spoon was dirty. When we went I had undercooked homestyle fries. Not cold, just drab and soft. Otherwise, the experience was what I would expect from a Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is always a great place to go and this one is especially nice. All of the staff was super friendly and just seemed to really enjoy being there. The atmosphere is also really inviting and I love the old-times feel each one has. The wait for a table was only a short 15 minutes and the place was pretty crowded at the time. Our food also came to us pretty quickly considering we got shrimp and a breakfast plate. The breakfast food here is some of the best around and the shrimp dinner was also pretty good, according to my wife. The mashed potatoes, however, were not good and pretty floury tasting. But, other than that, this place has some great food! It is also pretty reasonably priced for how much food you get. You can get a large breakfast plate for under $9 and the shrimp dinner was less than $11z. Overall, great place to eat with a very welcoming, warm atmosphere and good food! read more
