Came here for brunch. We had been told it was 'awesome'. Well, it wasn't. It was good, but not 'awesome'. Basic American food prepared simply. It was fine. I had the Philly sandwich, my wife had the Cordon Bleu. Both were fine, but nothing special. The vegetable beef soup was actually better than my sandwich, as was my wife's clam chowder. I definitely can recommend choosing the soups as your side dish. Or maybe just order it as your meal. They were very good. I wouldn't mind coming back here, but I wouldn't go out of my way either. If you're nearby and hungry, you could do much worse than stopping here. read more

Came in for breakfast today. Ordered eggs Benedict, with coffee, half was through my meal I had to use the restroom. Was not gone for more than 2 min, came back and they were cleaning my table. I asked them why they would do that, the boss boy apologized and said he did not know. Waiter came and gave me a bill without even an offer to make it right. Paid the bill in full and took off but really bad experience. Will not be back. Specially since I had not even paid for the bill or gotten a bill not sure why they thought it was okay to toss my meal not even half way through. read more

My last review got deemed as a fake, so I'm writing up another review... because I genuinely love this place. My dad & I used to drive past this place all the time, because it's between my apartment and his house. Then one day (after lots of "we should stop and eat there sometime"), we stopped in. Their food is good. We keep coming back on a fairly regular basis. Their baked potato soup is my hands down favourite. I order it nearly every time we visit... and often find myself craving it at odd hours of the night. It's got the perfect blend of salty and creamy and the potato bits in it are nice and big. It's a good, hearty soup that fills me up every time. My other favourites here are Thrill of the Grill (though I always order it without the guacamole), Chicken Swiss Melt, and Roast Beef & Provolone. I've never eaten here for breakfast, because I'm not a big breakfast person... so maybe their breakfast menu is as awful as everybody here is claiming... but I can't see how. read more

Honestly the best meal my husband and I have had since moving here. We finally had a kid free few hours and decided to go to brunch at Crackers and Co. I had the carnitas huevos ranchero and it was so good!The meat is tender and flavorful, and everything else was tasty. The eggs were cooked PERFECTLY over easy, which is something a lot of restaurants tend to make either too hard or the whites are slimy. These were beautifully yolky. My husband had the California eggs benedict and wiped his plate clean. I tried a bite and would have been jealous if my own meal wasn't so good, lol. Our waitress was friendly and quick to give us refills. She stopped by a couple of times to make sure we were satisfied. We're very much looking forward to going back soon. read more

I would normally give this place 4 stars but because the service was great I bumped it up a star. Got there about 8:30 Sunday morning. Had to wait 5 minutes for a seat. Not bad, kind of expect that on a Sunday morning. Got seated and our waitress was right over to take our drink orders. We had already looked at the menu while waiting and she could tell we were ready to order food too. She took our orders and promptly returned with drinks and our food came out later. I had the chicken fried biscuits and gravy. It was really good and there is a lot of good that comes with it. Wife got the day break which also had a lot of food. Both meals were really good. The service was fantastic. This is the kind of service worth tipping for. Our waitress was Jennifer, and if you get a chance request her. She was on top of things as soon as she took our orders. Didn't have to ask for anything (I think she can read minds). She brought me a second arnold Palmer before i drank all of the first one. She noticed my wife needed more creamer for the coffee, boom it was there. When leaving she offered to put my drink in a Togo. I recommend this place and Jennifer as your waitress. read more

this is a nice all day breakfast restaurant- with lunch starting at 10:30am! the crowd here is older, and it's very busy on sunday mornings with the after church goers. i would recommend it to groups of older adults or families. the menu is pretty large, and the food was just kind of okay. i had a quesadilla and fries which i enjoyed, and my friend had a turkey club that she liked as well. everyone on the wait staff was really nice and got everything right. read more

I've been enjoying Crackers & Co since I accidentally discovered their first location off Country Club. I was so excited when they built their larger location on Greenfield & Brown several years ago. Awesome menu! I've tried many of their soups and have loved them all. I often go with a club sandwich, which is great, but today I went with the Bacon Avocado Egg Melt and couldn't have chosen better! So delicious! I'm usually not a fan of the potatoes served on the side with breakfast dishes, but these potatoes were sliced very thin and cooked so well; loved them! My daughter had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and they were also a big hit! read more

I have not had a bad meal yet at Crackers. The food is made fresh and they have a really good menu. The chicken deader salad is awesome and it comes with a warm garlic toast....delish....you must order the waffles, very light and tasty I felt like I could eat 5-10 easy. The condition. Of HH is establishment is good and the wait staff is friendly as well. The menu is reasonably priced so you will not break the bank eating there's do the portion size is good also. We have eaten here several times and liked their food however, We showed up at 1:58 and they wouldn't seat us (google maps showed them closing at 2:30). The hostess said the kitchen was already closed but a 3 person group showed up directly behind us and they were seated. When we spoke to the manager and complained, he half assed apologized and refused to seat us. No matter how good the food is, we refuse to continue to support a restaurant that picks and chooses who they serve. One day we're good enough to eat there and the next we're not? I don't even want to think that it's because we are two women. Such a shame that this behavior continues. read more

Whew!!!!! I finally found a great place for breakfast, so many breakfast choices....They Have Country Potatoes!!! I just ordered the traditional breakfast today and I really enjoyed the meal, I have already chose what will be my next adventure. The restaurant employees are friendly and accommodating and the decor is really nice, this is a good place for family dining. I recommend this establishment highly. I usually really enjoy the food. Today I ordered the poblano chicken sandwich. Fries are quality and crispy. The chicken breast was very dry though. They are clearly cooking it before hand and warming it up which makes it dry out. Suggestion, butterfly the breast and cook it to order which will decrease the cook time at half the thickness, and it will be juicy for the customer. read more

Went in for afternoon breakfast today. Very disappointed in the waiter. He came over and asked if we wanted teas to go. I had a plate full of food. Very rude.!!! He brought the ticket to pay and I was asking for a refill of water. We were there a total of 30 minutes. They weren't even busy. Came for breakfast and was not disappointed with the amount and quality of the eggs Benedict of which they have 4-5 different kinds even one with pork and green tomatillo sauce and hollandaise sauce. Definitely a must try, my girlfriend and I both got different Eggs Benedict and shared one half of our meal with each other so we could try both , I got the pork carnitas Benedict and she got the California eggs Benedict and both were exceptionally fresh and delicious, with a perfect texture, real hollandaise sauce and not the powder that lots of places serve on them and a perfect poached eggs. For my side I took the country potatoes and I ordered some marbled rye toast as well . This was my first time there and they have one hell of a lunch menu which I'm planning on trying a couple of things on in the next few weeks. The coffee was kept fresh by our server and she was very attentive with a freshen up at regular appropriate intervals . Fresh food, terrific service and oh yeah! Pretty good breakfast as far as I'm concerned. But, hubby wasn't impressed. He got his usual (which is something I just don't get or understand. I like a variety of food and always like to try something new or it's just plain BORING. Agreed?) which is what everyone if of my breakfast reviews states no matter where we go to eat, he orders a ham, green pepper and cheese omelette. Sometimes he gets a bit wild and will request a pancake in place of the toast. Living on the edge then. Well he said the omelette was ok but not big enough in his opinion. There is no choice for hash browns, but is served with homefries (there are other options like fruit, etc but no other potato option). Hubby doesn't like chunky potatoes unless they are slathered in cheese sauce, like Augratin, so he was unhappy with no hash browns. Got the pancake with toast but did not like it. I tasted it and I agreed, not much flavor even with the syrup. I had sausage and biscuits with the addition of a chicken fried steak. Hey, no judgements here, sometimes I just need a rich fattening meal. I liked my dish, biscuit was huge, but tough on bottom. Maybe baked a touch to long? The chicken fried steak was delish! But could have been bigger. Sausage gravy had great flavor but the sausage was in such tiny pieces, kind of like it was ground instead of having bite sized pieces in it. I personally liked the homefries. Waitstaff was good. Since Christmas time all had different Christmas sweaters/tops on. Cute! I've been coming here for years and I at there on the September 3rd. I ordered biscuit and gravy. It tasted horrible. I sent it back and I told the server the gravy tasted bad. They gave me the check no apologies no questions asked. They didn't call anyone to discuss this or find out why my experience was horrible.
