Very fun outdoor ambiance! We don't have anything like this back home. It was cool to have the different food trucks located in the same space. Unfortunately there was not enough space for me and my family of 15. But I was able to have a yummy michi before we had to leave.

A VIBEEEEEE. Came on a Wednesday night, exactly what I needed. Few people, chill vibes, great playlist. I got the cracksickle which was amazing, fiancé got a bees knees with whiskey.. pretty sour. Tots were delicious ESPECIALLY the ranch. Overall highly recommend during weekday haha less crowded

Who would've thought with a name like "Crackheads" it would be the most popular place to go to in downtown Cbad. I'm from MD and don't think it would be as popular. I wanted to really like this outdoor spot with a deck so you can overlook everything except the beach. But, the staff and service got me questioning BIG TIME over a lovely cocktail...should I go back to this crackchaos? Honestly, this place isn't what it's cracked up to be.

My son has a tree nut allergy and this restaurant proved to be very allergy aware and very helpful. They only have a few products that were processed in a facility with tree nuts. We enjoyed the tater tot bowl for the kids and breakfast burrito with two flat whites for the grown ups. 10/10 would come again!

Nice outdoor bar with a unique container-style setup and a great atmosphere. There's an upstairs area, a turf space with picnic tables downstairs, and plenty of seating at the bar. The drinks are solid, and it's pet-friendly, which makes it even better. We haven't tried the food yet, but it seems really popular with other guests.

The OLD version of the Tots @ Crackheads.

I am soooooo bummed that the new owners changed the Tots!!!! They used to have FRESH SHREDDED CHEESE, the WHITE Crackheads Sauce and really good quality crunchy and crumbled sausage and bacon. Now they put CHEESE SAUCE on them! SOOOOOOO NOT AS GOOD! Also, the Egg Sandwich is not as good for some reason.... Used to be on a toasted brioche bun, medium fried egg, slice of cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and the white crackheads sauce. It was soooooo good. New owners changed something when they took over????

Great drinks and awesome service . Thank you Sierra. Also dog friendly. Im sure food was good, but we just needed a drink.

Good spot for breakfast or brunch! We tried the Egg sandwiches and burrito. Both were tasty and freshly made. Service was good. There's only outdoor seating available. 2 restrooms available. Parking was on the street and it can be hard to find a spot.

The rooftop patio was full, but we found a high top for our party of 4. Ordered drinks at the bar and relaxed. Would like to come back to try the breakfast sandwich

Always great to come here, this time had the crackhead sandwich with tots! The medium egg gushing out was so good :) Also I think they have the best mozzarella sticks I have had!

I would give the food here a 3/5, but the location, vibes, and service were 5/5! I got the crack burger, which was okay but I don't think the ingredients blended very well together. I'm a lover of burgers with an egg inside, but this one didn't mesh well with the rest of the burger. We also tried the mini corn dogs and breakfast tots. They both were pretty good! The tots were so loaded that they were a bit soggy and didn't have that crunch to them. My boyfriend got the spice girl breakfast sandwich and I think I would recommend that one over all others. They have a nice outdoor area which is dog friendly. We brought our dog and she loved it there!

We came here for breakfast! What an excellent choice! We sat at the rooftop. Nice view of the city. I ordered the avocado toast. It was so good! I also ordered a cocktail called cracksicle. It was very good. My brother in law ordered a breakfast burrito and my sister got a breakfast sandwich. The food was excellent. Our server was very attentive. The service was great! I would definitely comeback for breakfast.

Fun spot for some drinks! I love the vibes, very trendy and a popular Carlsbad local spot. They have a couple of yummy bites, but crackheads is known for their drinks and being a fun spot! Bartenders are hard works and very efficient! They give great recs, and want everybody to have a fun time. You can stay here for 20 mins or for 3 hours!

My husband and I stopped in to Frankie's on a recent Saturday at 5pm. Our kiddo had a performance down the street at 6pm so we had a little time to kill beforehand. The neighboring spots looked busy so we decided to go with Frankie's, seeing as they were less inundated at the time and we had a time constraint. Another allure was the sandwich board at the front door advertising discounted cocktails - sold!! Inside there were a handful of patrons at the bar, another table with two additional patrons and maybe a couple on the patio so it was fairly quiet and slow, so it looked promising. We headed up to the bar and hung out behind two empty barstools, the single female bartender greeted us and said she'd be right with us, but then continued chatting up the seated patrons, serving them and their friends that had just joined (AFTER we'd arrived). We moved a little further down to the handoff area where she was making drinks to save her having to come back to us again, and stood there for probably 10 minutes while she took orders and made all the drinks. We commented that she looked like she could definitely use a hand, and she said they were still adjusting into summer hours and determining whether more coverage was needed at this time - I figured 5pm on a Saturday should be primetime, so I'm not sure in what universe having a single bartender makes any sense. Finally we placed our cocktail orders, waited while they were made, and then put our card down for the tab. After we'd paid, I noticed the cocktails were more expensive than advertised on the sandwich board out front - I couldn't find a disclaimer anywhere that said only certain cocktails were included, so while it was a bummer I wasn't about to wait another 10-15 minutes to catch her attention and ask for clarification. Just a heads up to beware of whatever is advertised that might summon you in from the sidewalk, and make sure you ask before you make your selection. Drinks were very subpar, nothing special to write home about. While I can appreciate the Gatsby-esque vibe they're trying to uphold at Frankie's, they really should increase their staffing especially during prime weekend and evening hours, and be more transparent about their specials and what's included and what's not. Hindsight is 20/20, and the low volume of patrons when everything else around it was going off was probably a sign, so we'll skip Frankie's our next go around.

She brought it back to the bartender for a lemon drop, that ended up being made sickeningly sweet, like biting into a cinnamon roll!! Can't we just get a normal drink!?
