(I'll preface this by saying I had a 9am breakfast of 1 cup of scrambled eggs, 1/2 cup of mixed fruit, 2 pieces of fried bacon, maybe 1/2 cup of home fries/breakfast potatoes, and a 12 fl oz can of sugarfree energy drink [200mg of caffeine]; a 12pm snack of some flavor of scone; and water throughout the day. I came here for dinner around 6pm.) I ended up getting sick maybe 5 minutes after finishing my meal. Luckily, the two individuals with me did not experience any issues despite being the ones with gastrointestinal health issues. The employees were all very nice and attentive. Service was quick. Dining area and bathrooms looked clean. Bathroom stalls are very small though. The doors open inwards which leaves a couple inches of clearance between the door and the toilet. Trying to keep my clothes from touching the walls or the toilet was a task. My group got the blue crab special in lemon pepper, boiled scallops in garlic butter, and cheesecake. Also, only had water with lemon for beverages. The food was okay to good. A lot of the other reviewers mentioned it, but the crab meat is pretty paltry. The shrimp, sausage, egg, and potato tasted good to me. Heard no complaints about the corn or the other egg and potato from the friend that ate them. They loved the cheesecake; thought it was delicious. I did not try it as I was starting to feel the beginnings of the sick around the time the cheesecake was brought out. read more

We were so excited to eat here, however as a family of 6, 4 of which are kids under the age of 10 we were informed because of our party size we would automatically be charged 20% gratuity, but the manager could waive that since 4 of our party were kids. As the hostess arrived we asked to speak to the manager and our waitress was very rude about our request, as she walked away she said "it's just a tip but whatever", needless to say we decided to leave. We tip generously and always recognize the hard work of our servers, but attitudes like that do not deserve automatic tips. read more

Another one of those spots that catches your eye from the street and finally one day you stop in. I went to a place like this in upstate NY that I wasn't too pleased with, so I was a bit skeptical. To start, the service was lacking. A delay to be seated in a practically empty spot, long wait to request drinks and a non-existent server for pretty much the whole meal. We spent a lot of time looking around for the server for a drink refill, instead of focusing on our meals. So as for the meal, I asked if it was possible to substitute the shrimp for the crawfish. She said it shouldn't be a problem and would probably be cheaper than the shrimp. No big fuss over a few dollars but I would've appreciated if the server told me that it couldn't be supplemented, instead of just adding it as a additional item. I really like this place but i always seem to have an issue when I request the head on shrimp. I always seem to get the headless which I know is a special and is probably more popular. The last time I came this was a bigger issue because the server made me feel really uncomfortable and basically blamed me. I know what I ordered and I also specified and had been craving the head on shrimp. To be accused and blamed for getting the incorrect order was a pretty annoying situation but of course I took the incorrect order anyways.
