beef and pork bowls
Ansley T.

The best place to get rice + protein bowls!!! The flavor is EXQUISITE. I would gatekeep this place but they deserve to be known. It is located in a quiet plaza with a car wash. There's some seating inside but I think it's primarily a to-go place. I have been here two times and always got the beef bowl. It's a small mom and pop shop and it functions similarly to a Chipotle where you get to choose your ingredients. Do yourself a favor and get the beef with both the garlic and spicy mayo. The last time I went was a Thursday evening, my friends and I came around half an hour to closing (we apologize). There was nobody else in the store. Some of us got beef while others got pork. Everyone loved it! The employee was also nice enough to let us stay in to sit past closing and even gave us some pear juice which was delicious and refreshing. We are so grateful and I can't wait to come back!

Tried this spot today while waiting for my truck that was at the car wash next door . I liked Customizing my bowl with ingredients I like . Tried a few different sauces which make it spicy but delicious . Love how they let u do half / half rice and glass noodles . Both are very good . I got the Bulgogi meat which is very good . Pretty basic inside but clean . They have a happy hour special in the late afternoon which is nice for people on a budget . The employee was nice and helpful .

Food was great quality, the beef and tofu have good flavor to them. For the bulgolgi it has a nice charred taste and seasoning. I added some toppings like kimchi, garlic, furikake, and grilled jalepeño... There was a gentleman with glasses that helped me and he made the service quick, easy and enjoyable. It appeared to be just him working there but he seemed very attentive to everyone regardless. Would recommend. It's flame broiler style bowls but with Korean flavors, better quality ingredients/meat and portions. No issues overall, and the rice was cooked perfectly as well. This place is tucked away next to a busy street, and it's a small shop with some seating inside. Definitely a hole in the wall but to me it is a hidden gem.

Yum...great concept & great foods. I got 1/2 white tie & 1/2 lecture and he lets me have 1/2 beef & 1:2 pork plus the any toppings (I added 6 of them) and with 2 sauces on top. This place has parking but not a lot, but manageable and inside is small but spacious and mostly for to go. They do have 3-4 tables/chairs inside if you decided to dine in. There is one friendly and nice guy working there and he had several orders for pick up. I waited for awhile but he did apologized for the delayed. The foods are very tasty & well marinated, it does take awhile to heat it up through the wheel-go-around over the fire but it worth the wait. As for prices, not bad. The cost for this order is $19 including tip. Will stop by for more when in area for sure. Yum!!!

The food was great the portion was large and the choices were plenty. The sauces are great to it wasn't bad at all. The service was quick and she was nice even though it took a bit for the beef as they ran out I didn't mind the wait. The inside was clean and there is seating areas to eat. My only downside would be the price it was a bit on the high side but I would definitely go here again.

Plenty of parking, located in a plaza. This place is like a Korean chiptole/cava. You pick your size, base, protein, then topping. Regular size come with 1 protein and unlimited toppings while mini came with 3 toppings. Service was top notch. Staff welcomed us and explained how to order and each item. Inside there's 4 tables to sit at. My order: - mini - half brown rice, half lettuce - spicy pork bulgogi - red ginger, sour cream, regular kimchi - spicy mayo Everything mixed well. Came out saucy, balanced, and flavorful. I like they have many kimchi options such as cilantro and radish. They also make their own sauces.

Came in 2025. Had some of the best chicken I've had in my life. Marinated, flavorful, perfectly tender. Why would you change that recipe? New grilled chicken was thoroughly middling. Will not be coming back unless I see in reviews that they put the recipe back to the marinated chicken.

This is a pretty good spot if you're looking for a quick lunch. It's located in a strip mall and we were able to find parking pretty easily on a Saturday afternoon. I got the mini bowl while my girlfriend got the regular. Both seemed to be enough food to get you satisfied/full so the mini is likely a better value unless you want more toppings. The meat quality and sauce are both okay. For the base, we got japchae which was just glass noodles (I thought there would be more to it like stir fried vegetables). Even though there are tables inside, they don't offer any cups of water so this place may be better suited for takeout.

Lilee N.

Food seemed generously portioned but given each bowl was almost $20, I guess it's appropriate for the amount spent. Toppings are limited and pretty basic but there's premium ones like an egg or edamame which we had to pay extra for. Definitely not a sit down place. Kind of uncomfy to sit and eat given the space is a bit run down inside. It leaves much to be desired but take out or delivery is fine. Expected a little more given the reviews vs reality.

I love fusion foods and I also love places where I can customize my own bowls, so of course I had to check out Craft Bowl in Anaheim. The customer service was super friendly and it's very clean inside. Not many tables though, but luckily it's easy to take to-go. I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi bowl. It definitely was not spicy at all. For my base, I decided to do half white rice, half japchae. I think I will just stick with all white rice or all japchae next time. I love their variety of toppings and sauces though. The prices are very reasonable given how quick and convenient it is and also the portion size. My bowl was stacked. I would definitely come back.

Really good Korean food at the style of a Chipotle where you pick your base, protein and toppings for one price. Bulgogi and spicy pork are good selections and the bowls are hearty and full. I would not recommend eating inside because the ventilation is pretty bad and my eyes kept watering and my clothes and hair all smelled like oils.

Tina C.

The food here was okay. I do like how they have a lot of options here and was surprised to see how well sour cream went with my bowl, but I was also hoping to see other side dishes such as potato salad/macsalad/fishcake. The part that I didn't like the most was how oily the japchae was. It ruined the whole experience for me. I ate half my bowl and then tossed the rest. The parts that weren't oily were decent though. The service was good but I was a little rushed during my order.

I heard that the owner makes everything in-house, and you can really tell how much care and skill go into the food. The staff are also incredibly kind and welcoming every time I visit. Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) - This is honestly the best galbitang I've had in both OC and LA. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is always fresh and tender. Whenever I'm craving galbitang in the OC/LA area, this is the only place I go. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. It's perfectly seasoned, and has just the right level of spice. As much as I love the galbitang, I think I actually enjoy the yukgaejang even more. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The cabbage salad dressing that comes on the side is seriously addictive. The portion size is huge, there's no way I could finish it by myself. It has the crispy texture of Japanese katsu, while still having a great pork flavor of its own. I honestly think this could be considered one of their signature dishes. If you're looking for authentic Korean comfort food with generous portions and warm service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely keep coming back!

A favorite amongst the group was the beef intestine, which I've never had before and was pretty impressed by. It was super juicy and paired well with the scallions and sauce. Another favorite of the group was the corn cheese. It was like a pizza but corn cheese. My absolute tried and true is the pork belly. There is a small lot out front for parking, and I suspect you can park on the street when the lot fills up. We happened to come by during the Korea vs. Mexico game, and understandably, the place gets packed, with a line forming outside. We somehow beat the rush by about 30 minutes and were seated at a table as soon as we entered. We also realized then that they didn't have the all-you-can-eat option, so we ended up ordering the chicken wings, their version of loaded fries, and steamed rice. We also placed the order via the QR code. We had our drinks delivered to our table shortly afterward. The food, however, was taking a long time to get to our table. It may have been a combination of the FIFA World Cup and a staff shortage, but when we were there, there was only 1 kitchen staff member and 1 wait staff member. The lady on the wait staff did everything from serving food to accepting new customers and topping off water for all the tables. A wall separates the restaurant; there is a front room and an inside room, and both rooms had televisions broadcasting the game. The food itself was decent for the price that they charge. The chicken wings came out piping hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. They have some options for different wing flavors. The fries were also delicious and well-fried. I hope the restaurant invests in more wait staff because there were times we needed something from the wait staff. Seeing how busy she was, or sometimes she's just in the front room, we haven't seen her in a while to get whatever we needed. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good, and the atmosphere is very unique; it's definitely a nice place to get some Korean street food when you're in the area. The only things to note are that parking is limited, food will take a while to cook as it is made fresh, and there will be some waiting to be done if you need wait staff. Last thing to note: I love that they had some Korean Fusion dishes, and I wish I had a bigger stomach to try these as well during our visit, perhaps another time!

For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday.
