The second you walk through the door you're greeted, the place was very clean, the decorations were amazing. We got the specialty boil had about 3 1/2 pounds of seafood and it tasted amazing. The flavor was phenomenal. We will definitely go back again.

I'm mad at myself that I haven't been to Crafty Crab until now! How shocked I was that this local joint packed so much flavor and met all my seafood boil expectations. I was thinking it wouldn't. Upon entering, I waited for a host to come up and see that I walked in. I was seated after a few minutes but the server didn't actually come up to me and take my order until 10-15 minutes later. Knowing that she was late, she came over and apologized for her delay. It was quite a wait but the food made up for it. I ordered 2lbs of crawfish at $12.99/lb and mixed two flavors, cajun and garlic butter. I asked for all corn instead of potato and I have no regrets. I could not get enough of their corn. The end product was amazing and I'll definitely be back for more. Such a gem in Boynton Beach.

For my seafood boil lovers you will get a kick out of this place. It's a decent amount of food for a reasonable price. On the weekends they have a live DJ later in the night, and happy hour as well. We were able to get a 3 drink special that were half off! The customer service was really good, I had to compliment the waiter on his promptness and attention to detail. The only thing I can say was a con, is the bathroom was pretty dirty and I was not comfortable using it. Try to empty out your bladder before going to this place. Other than that my experience was solid. There is plenty of parking, as this spot is located in a Publix shopping plaza.

We waited for 30 mins and nobody came ... so we left horrible service but ate here before and it was good so I give a few stars maybe come on a dead night and won't be so bad

I've ordered from crafty crab via Uber eats and DoorDash over the past year or so, and I never went to a restaurant until last month. I've never had an issue when I ordered online-- my food was always delicious. So I was excited to visit a location in person finally. I ordered takeout with Jenny on a weekday evening night. She was so pleasant, helpful, and charismatic. I ordered bbq wings & french fries and shrimp with french fries. My meals were delicious, and I look forward to dining in Crafty Cab soon!

We had an enjoyable meal and dining experience. The service is great and atmosphere is nice. I love all the decor. The crab boil bag was full of flavor! I'm sure we will be back to try some more items off the menu.

We have been wanting to try a nearby crab house & get a seafood boil for a while. We drove by Crafty Crab not too long ago & after checking them out online we decided to give them a shot. We went in with limited expectations & left very pleased. Our server was great. She took the time to walk us through the menu. After listening to what we wanted, she suggested a terrific seafood platter. We were able to specify the sauce we wanted along with the level of heat. You can also select the different items you want and they will make you a custom boil too. Everything was so good. They have this down to a science & provide you with all the tools you need. The table is covered with paper and they provide a roll of paper towels on the table + a bucket for shells and trash. The place was comfortable inside however my only complaint was they sat everybody right on top of each other even though there was plenty of room to spread out. Regardless, we will definitely be back as the food was really good & we enjoyed it.

    Hair on snow crabs

Ordered from uber eats. Food looked amazing and once I was about to eat I saw there was hair around my snow crabs. That is absolutely disgusting. Food went right in the trash. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Not necessary, but if you haven't had it, and your saucy like me.. GET IT!

This place is not cheap so 4 stars for the price, it is a bit in the expensive side and because prices are rising, many locations differ so call in or check online if your tight on the cash. Nonetheless, this spot is absolutely amazing, my personal favorite and the service is outstanding. Personally one waiter who stood out the most is Naelle, come check her out and support your waiters too! She was extraordinarily nice and great customer service! Made sure to check in frequently and that the food was on point, which it was! Thank you Naelle and crafty crab for the wonderful experience and the delicious food. This is a must try spot if you haven't tried seafood with a kick of flavor, I highly recommend Boom Mix, your welcome! FYI : Pick ups are also a perfect to-go option ALWAYS fresh and just as delicious as going inside everytime I make a to-go order as well.

When you get a craving for a good seafood boil, Crafty Crab is the place to go. We came across Crafty Crab on a recent hunt for Ice-cream. Once you enter this corner spot off Congress and Boynton Beach Blvd, you are greeted by a Giant Crab -- makes for a fun photo spot. And since we are talking about interiors, this restaurant has casual ambiance vibes, but is decked out in fishing/nautical/seafood decorations. Food: my husband and I shared a 1 lb steamed Crab & Shrimp seafood boil bag and added 2 lobster tails. This was enough food for us along with our 7 year old as the meals came with corn on the cob and potatoes. You have an option of 4 seasonings to choose from (garlic butter, crafty crab, lemon + pepper, or a mix of all 3). Then you get to decide how spicy you want the flavor. We enjoyed the shrimp the most and the crab was hard to crack as we were provided with plastic silverware and eventually asked for crab crackers to get to the meat. The lobster tails came out curled and cracked in half for easy removal. The flavor was on point, and we enjoyed the steamed bags. Price: like most seafood, it is market price. I feel like it is comparable to other seafood places around. Service: our server was a hoot lol we enjoyed talking to her, but we told her it was our 1st visit and asked for recommendations but she said she only eats the shrimp and wasn't very enthusiastic about seafood. We were seated right away on a Friday evening and drinks and appetizer came out quickly. The steamed bags also arrived at our table shortly after our appetizer. Service would be 5 stars as especially being a Fish Friday we didn't have to wait and the restaurant wasn't packed. 4 stars as we felt the variety wasn't there. Make sure you bib up as it gets saucy :)

The husband-and-wife owners are clearly hands-on... stopping by tables, checking in with guests, and keeping a watchful eye on everything. It's obvious they care and truly want you to have a great time here. I called for a reservation and it was basically sold out... when they said they could take me at 5pm, I grabbed it. Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. I noticed a bunch of regulars dining at the bar, which looked perfect to me. The bar is walk-in only... so next time I don't have dinner plans, I'll remember I can just walk in and try for a seat. I'm sure I'll see two familiar faces... the owners, Anthony and Christine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I know the ownership has changed since I first came here, but I was so happy to hear the cook is still the same! It really brought back memories. We had a fun night overall -- although I may have slightly annoyed the bartender by asking her to take photos of us (they didn't come out too well under the lighting). Before we left, another server kindly helped us take a few away from the lights, and those turned out much better. All in all, I'm really glad I came back to give J and J's another whirl. The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was warm and nostalgic, and it reminded me why I loved this place to begin with. You should give it a try too!

Before I talk about the food I want to say that the young lady that was the bartender and server was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The restaurant is small, however it is beautiful inside and does offer outdoor seating as well. Now for the food. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.
